For some of us is SecondLife a kind of home where we meet friends from all over the world. Its an amazing (virtual) world where we create our avatars to interact with many many peoples. 

Today is the 17th Birthday, it was the 23th of June in 2003 as the Grid opened the first time. And a lot changed, SL grown and we grown with it. Thank you Linden!

Der Karneval der Kulturen (Carnival  of Cultures) is a famous festival in Berlin which was canceled sadly this year about Covid-19. It is a multicultural festival and shows the diversity of different peoples and cultures. Berlin is a multicultural City, And if we open our minds this diversity makes our life much more colored. We wanted to set a clear sign of openness and equality for each people, irrespective of his race, gender, religion, culture, nationality and orientation.

It was not only to be the highlight of the week, we were looking forward to this very special event. We already had fun setting up a new venue and were looking forward to seeing us friends and guests in this. So we kept the new venue a secret for a long time and invited everyone to the Sunshine Temple.

The invitation already revealed that there had to be another place. "A forgotten temple in an ancient oasis risen from the sand and hidden away from the world for thousands of years under the sand of the desert. Some days ago a storm blow away this sand and this pyramid appeared, like time wouldn't went away." The Sunshine Temple is awesome and unique, but its not a Pyramid.

We celebrated our guests to the June Full Moon in Realm of Shades. It seems this was complicated for some, andtherefore we concretized it. Realm of Shades, our counter earth. There the color "black" is already very close. And we wanted to celebrate the full moon. There we are already almost in the area of nature religions. But we are not going back in time today. But we think about how nature gods can be worshipped today, and it was always about sex back then, too.

Actually, we had been planning to do one of our events in a prison for a long time. As inmates and inmates an event. Now prisons are known to be a bit tighter, so we chose this Tuesday. And since we just don't have any space, Misty extended the prison to our sports platform. Last Sunday we had already started to clean up the sim after the problems of last weeks and removed not urgently needed material. So we decided to take a minimalist approach, a prison is a prison and we didn't need more decorations.
