And now our event on Saturday is finished. After the preheading event yesterday, expectations were high. We were really looking forward to the evening. It was a wonderful evening, with a lot of good music, many friends of the Sunshine Family were together and we also had many guests. It was a successful evening, even if it looked like it was going to be a more difficult one at the beginning. Already the general conditions seemed bad, the SL servers were unusually slow, so there were not only problems when logging in, it was also everywhere very laggy. Fortunately our Sim had been restarted in the morning.

We starting in our celebrations for St. Paty 2019 today. We have 3 events planned, we starting today at the Sunshine Realm with a Street Festival for a Preheating Party in the redesigned Street before the Sunshiner's Pup and continue tomorrow with a party at the Sunshiner's Pub. We will finishing this weekend at the Club Room in a new designed small Pub in a skybox.

We celebrated our Christmas Party for the Sunshine Realm together with The ROOM Club at 23th of December. We started with a very colorful program at 1pm slt. Some of our friends and guests joined us for a very special event "Champagne & Mistletoe" in formal attire at the Christmas Market.

We were curious because we made this event at a Sunday and this isn't a regular time for the Sunshine Realm. But the worries before were unnecessary then the first guests came and it was a successful evening.

It's Advent time

It's finally time today. Tomorrow is the 1st Advent, and the Christmas season 2018 starts. November is finally behind us and we can look forward to a month with many colorful lights, candles and the smell of cookies and other Christmas baked goods. This morning the children have opened the first door in the Advent calendar, and there are only 24 days until Santa Claus arrives.

Since the Sunshine Realm is closed on each Thursday, we will celebrate our Thanksgiving 2018 on the 23rd of November. We will meet us at the Trails End Music Hall for 2 hours of fun and relaxation. We have prepared everything for it, and of course the turkey can't be missing from the rich buffet. But we have also pardoned a pair of turkeys and they enjoy their freedom in front of the barn. And unlike others, we wish this freedom to all people in the world. So all people are welcome in the Sunshine Realm, regardless of their religion and origin.

The winter season continues!

We start our events every week on Tuesday, after a rest day on Monday. Now we are in Thanksgiving week, the preparations are running. So we thought about how to open this week, a "Coming home" party in the snow, or something else. In any case, we wanted to go back to the Winterland to have the opportunity to prepare the "Trails End Music Hall" for the big Sunshine Family Thanksgiving Party.

Our 1st weekend in the winter season

After the success yesterday wit our "Winter Is Coming" event, we wanted to organize a good evening again and hoped that everything would work out. Since I was at a birthday party in the family, I could only log into SecondLife shortly before the event. But Misty had done all the preparations, and she has a lot of experience, as my teacher and mentor.

After having had a lot of fun during the construction, we were really curious how the first weekend would turn out. And of course what our friends and guests would say about our new winterland. On the first weekend the frozen pond with the ice rink should be in the foreground. And of course there was also the question whether we had thought of everything, whether everything was adjusted correctly and should not become too laggy.

We used the last few days to prepare the ground level of the Sunshine Realm for the new season. Winter is near. So we tore away the Beach Club and the Football Stadium to make room for something new. The road is sunk in the snow, snow drifts have formed at the edge. Snowflakes are blowing over the landing bridges and have covered the wood with snow. Even if it is a bit early, we have already started to build up the Christmas market.

The finale and highlight of our Halloween Events 2018 at the Sunshine Realm is the "Bloody Formal Ball". We women love prom balls, the Sunshine Family is not an exception. And mixing it all with Halloween is a great thing. Its open a lot option to select a dress and to dance with friends. This will be the highlight of our Halloween season 2018. On Tuesday evening we invite everyone to dance in our enchanted ballroom. DJ Yezika and the Nightwishes will entertain us, and the Sunshine Girls will provide the perfect setting for a wonderful event where dreams and fantasies come true.

We have started planning for Halloween 2018 for the Sunshine Cove Group. As in previous years, we're planning some events, and we've already started with our New Moon Party last week.

We have enough stuff in the Sunshine family, and could just repeat some of the Halloween events. We've already started to bring back some of the previous venues lately. So we reopened the Beach Club, the "Trails End Music Hall" and last but not least "The Brewery". It's the combination of old and new that makes SL so wonderful.

Now we have more space and prims this year, and certainly more possibilities, so we took a look around the Sunshine Realm and discussed which events we want to organize with for our guests this year. And of course which place in our land fits best to the planned event. Now the Sunshine Realm has grown in the last months and now consists of many places, so you would think we had the choice. Beside the Tennis Court, the "Sunshine Cove Beach Club" and the "Sunshiner's Pub" on the ground floor, there is the "Sunshine Garden" and the "Trails End Music Hall" on one level, and the "Sunshine Garage" and "The Brewery" on the other. So where are we going to celebrate with you?

After our opening on Tuesday, when the zombies and undead overran our upper skybox and we had to retreat to the run-down car graveyard, we thought we pushed the undead back into their world. Yesterday we saw that the ground in the Sunshine Realm had been torn open, and a cemetery had emerged from the other side, as well as some long lost buildings. The witches and warlocks, ghosts and ghouls, undead and fairies, scarecrows and monsters came out of the ruptured rift into our world and wandered through the Sunshine Realm. The Sunshine Realm belonged to the creatures from the world of shadows.

Wow, what an event it was. The festival place with the cemetery was very well done, and as we started at 2pm, it got full faster than we expected. The guests all came in wonderful costumes that almost all fit into the theme, and we celebrated exuberantly together. First Valantine took over the DJ desk for 2 hours and entertained us with fresh music. We had started a 1,000 L$ contest in split mode. We didn't just schedule it for 4pm, the start of the second round with another DJ. We made it dependent on at least 10 guests logging into the contest, otherwise we would continue the contest at 4pm and increase it to 2,000 L$. But it didn't come to that, there were 20 guests very quickly, and nevertheless it should come differently than we had planned. It was going to be the craziest event we've ever had at the Sunshine Realm. 

When you've done everything, all you can do is wait.

Finally it's time. Yessss! We start our Halloween week with some events til Halloween self already tomorrow at 5:00 pm at the Sunshine Realm. Our first event is named "Zombie Apocalypse" and its take us back to the end of days, when the undead are on their way again and threaten to exterminate the last humans. The Sunshine Girls try to save the world and courageously defend themselves against the masses of undead.

Today it was finally time again. Thank God it's Friday and we started the party weekend at the Sunshine Realm. And as already announced, we stayed at the new Trails End Music Hall Club for now. And Friday is just the best time for a party, and Valantine is our Rock Queen, so it was time for a new MONSTER Rock Party. Punctually at 4pm we arrived at the Sunshine Realm and started the rock night. We were really curious when Misty couldn't come today. She had an appointment in RL. Unfortunately, this also means that some of the Sunshine Girls don't came. So it wasn't the best conditions. And after the successful opening party last week, expectations were naturally very high.

After our events in the summerland around the soccer field for the World Cup, the reopening of the Sunshine Cove Beach Club, the street festival for PRIDE Days and the Beachparty for 15th anniversary of SecondLife, the street festivals for holidays in the USA on July 4th and France on July 14th and later the parties at tennis court after the Wimbledon weekend, it was time for us to return to the Sunshine Garden. We prepared everything and planned a garden party with friends on July 28th. It was just time for us to take a breath. Of course we are also planning special events around our summer land in August and have some surprises in preparation.

I am what I am! The next two days are our PRIDE days in Sunshine Realm. We follow the theme month in SecondLife and the LGBT movement in the real world. We look back to the 6/24/2003. The Linden Company started a new Project with the name "SecondLife" and gave millions people the chance to meet others without fear and borders. Yes, its really true! Tomorrow is the 15th anniversary of SecondLife. A reason for us to have a wonderful party tonight. Than, this SecondLife is our virtual home!!!

Next Monday is Memorial Day in the USA. This is an American holiday celebrated every year on the last Monday in May in honour of those killed in war for their country. Memorial Day dates back to the American Civil War. Originally on this day the dead soldiers in this war were commemorated, after the First World War this was extended to all American soldiers killed in war.
