Our 1st weekend in the winter season

After the success yesterday wit our "Winter Is Coming" event, we wanted to organize a good evening again and hoped that everything would work out. Since I was at a birthday party in the family, I could only log into SecondLife shortly before the event. But Misty had done all the preparations, and she has a lot of experience, as my teacher and mentor.

Of course you can prepare everything, something always happens. So DJ Alexa wasn't online, we didn't get a message from her. But of course Misty had reacted and DJ Rosie took over the set at short notice. At 4pm we started on time. Again most of them came in winter clothes, and it got fuller too. And we had a lot of fun together again, some danced as a couple, others in formation, and DJ Rosie entertained us with a very good set. Experience shows that there are less and less people coming on Saturday, there are many events in SecondLife, and of course many have obligations in real life. But in the end we were 47 people on the ice.

Also for this event there was a contest in split mode, and we start with the jackpot of 1,000 L$. Thanks to another donation we doubled the jackpot to 2,000 L$. After the usual reminder it went quite well. Again we had to exclude an avatar. In the end we had 32 votes, and the payout went smoothly today.

DJ Polpeta took over the night party. We still had more than an hour of fun together, and celebrated our closing time. Winterland had survived the first weekend, most of it worked, and we had more than 100 guests on both days.
