Winter is back at Sunshine Realm

It's a little late this year. But now it's finally time, the winter is back at Sunshine Realm. And at least in Central Europe the winter hasn't arrived in the RL yet. But now it is finally here at the Sunshine Realm. And it will accompany some of our events for the next 3 months.

In SecondLife there are always changes. A day in SL is 4 hours long (3 hours day + 1 hour night in the Mainland). Thus SecondLife runs 6 times faster than in the normal world. So it seems to give also changes faster, you loses people from your eyes and wins new friends. And a club holds on the average probably only one three-quarter year. Well, we exist now already nearly 2 years, in December 2017 we opened and are still briefly before Christmas 2017 moved to the present position in the region Deep Lust. But we also reinvent ourselves every week, create new venues and new themes for parties and keep the thrill high. But that's not what it's about today, it's not about the Sunshine Realm. And don't worry, we don't want to change at the moment. But in almost the whole time we had a wonderful neighbour here in the region with Chant Lyrics. She has done many wonderful projects on her land, and even though she had rented less and more land in the region, she was always there.

We were able to build our land on both sides without border walls, adapted our border areas and there was never a reason to build a wall. Unfortunately you see these ugly separations again and again, and even if it is forbidden in the Covenant, only rarely something is done. Sometimes I had the impression that we had voted. Chant builds in her Sim with great attention to detail and wonderful ideas. Many also somehow unique. And we were able to talk about problems and exchange ideas.

Today Odette and Phil celebrated the grand opening of their new winterland "Mt. Conners Station Winterland" and invited all their friends to an wonderful party. Also was it the "Twin Birthday". Well, who looks at the years ;). Polpeta and Phil both have a birthday on this day, so the opening was also a birthday party. And since it was also a birthday party, we were not invited to come with jacket and boots, but in formal dresses and suit. We were all curious. Even though Mondays are actually an event in the Sunshine Family, most of them accepted the invitation.

Today I got an invitation to Savannah Rain's performance in the new underwater world of Calas and I was curious. Those who know me may also know that I like Savannah very much, she has a wonderful voice and a very open, funny way. And I like underwater worlds in SecondLife and sometimes I'm a mermaid too. I like the colors, but also the "flying" through the water. And a new world in Calas that connects everything, the possibility to go as a mermaid to a Savannah Rain concert, that made me forget the time, because 7pm in SecondLife is 4am for me. Around this time the sun almost rises here.

In the invitation was written that the New Santorini Temple of Thera is a breathtakingly beautiful sunken temple filled with amazing under water life and colors just off shore from New Santorini. Everyone was invited to come and dance as a mer or sea creature tonight! I was really curious about this new world. I'm always surprised when some people tell me they've never been underwater in SecondLife before. Some don't even know that there are beautiful and colorful underwater worlds here.

I always wanted to report about interesting and worth seeing Sims here in the beautiful world of SecondLife. Unfortunately the Sunshine Realm occupies me very much and so there was not so much time in the last weeks to visit other Sims. And if I was there, I would have had to find the time to write about it. Because of course I don't want to report about the already crowded places, which actually only have a sexual background, and their high numbers of visitors are only generated by sex and placed bots. Not that I would not visit such places, after all it is SL. But everyone finds them alone. But there are many builders in SL who are rather unknown and who build wonderful worlds without being noticed by many. And one of these worlds is Thorvaldshavn.

Good Bye Sunshine Realm Winterland

We built the Winterland in November 2018. It was a wonderfull and beautiful place to rest and relax. We spent some time there. The pathways around with some places to sit and animals and typical winter sounds. And in the middle of the winterland was an amazing frozen pond, beautiful trees around this. You couldn’t only skate on this pond, it was also an awesome place for some very nice events in the winter season 2018 / 2019.

I made this video as memory for this wonderful place in our Sunshine Realm.

Even if the snow melts in the spring sun and the Winterland had to make room for a new project, it will remain in a good memory.

After the bad experiences this weekend, the trouble with our events and at last the canceling of this, some cat fights in the group about nothing and all, it was time for me to explore other parts of sl and sort my minds. But now I should go in my bed, after some steps through different Sims.

But i wanted make a last jump. I had read about the exhibition "How Isolde Got Lost", by Arete of Cyrene in the Nitroglobus Roof Gallery in the INARA PEY: LIVING IN A MODEM WORLD- Blog . I came only for a moment to decide whether it would be worth coming back with more time.

I also go to other clubs regularly, meet new people and dance. And if I like a place, I also write about it in my blog. Often it's live music that brings me to a new club, sometimes it's a tribute band, but today after a few weeks I was back at the "Unheilig Club". It's not difficult to realize that this must be a German Club. You could almost think that I normally do not visit German places in SecondLife. Many people who live in SecondLife and don't speak German are welcomed very unfriendly in most german places. Not here!

Today was a special day. I've been out of school for a few years now, but I had my first PROM ball today. And it's really hard to explain what thoughts I had and what feelings overpowered me. But I'll start again. When I received the invitation to Cala's Skate-o-rama PROM Ball via the CALAS GALADHON ANNOUNCEMENT GROUP, I didn't even know what a PROM BALL was. Well, that can come across wrong now, of course I had seen PROM Balls on TV and in the cinema, but in the German translation as "High School Abschlußfeier". PROM Ball was more like a celebrity gala ball to me. 

It was also the wrong time for me in Germany, 7:00 pm in SecondLife is 4:00 am for me, so a time where most people are already sleeping here. Now it was really very very hot that night, I could not sleep and was restless. So I decided at short notice to go to the event. So I googled and first understood what it was all about. And I didn't even have 15 minutes to prepare.

It's not my time, I'm 9 hours earlier, so this was early morning at the next day. But I had planned to experience one of the big parties in Calas Galadhon Park. And I love skating, whether in summer or winter. And somehow I also wanted to understand what this Independence Day meant for my friends from the USA. So I chose a dress that at least looks a little vintage, a jeans jacket and a walkman and backpack, and of course my inliners. I was really curious, I liked to be in skate-o-rama last year, and watching a 4th of July party kept me awake.

A few days earlier დ Aᴢʀᴀ Iʀɪꜱ დ asked me if I didn't want to model for photos. She started a new studio "eroтιca ѕтυdιoѕ" and sought models. They were supposed to be erotic pictures, and I was skeptical. On the one hand I like photos in SecondLife. I make many myself, mostly they are snapshots, and I want to show my view on SecondLife. You will find some of my photos here in the blog or at my own flickr page. So I'm less concerned with the artistic aspect. Of course I also have some photo shootings with different photographer behind me. On the other hand, my experiences with erotic pictures here were rather, well, not really erotic. So I answered that I would be interested, but behind the shooting there should be a story, and the place should somehow touch me.

Sunshine Summerland

This weekend we will open the new Sunshine Sommerland as Part of the Sunshine Realm. We rented the neighbouring lot (Sunshine Realm 2) and redesigned the floor area. The street and the Sunshiner's Pub are moved to the other side, behind it a harbour reminiscent of a small French harbour. This frees up the old area for new ideas. The landing bridges connect both plots on the lake side, here is also the common landing point for both plots.

My friend Lexx invited me yesterday to watch a amateur play in the Sim "ZERZURA - City of Dionysus" where he spends regular some time. The whole thing is the "Spring Play In the Lagoon" and should take place on 4/26/2018, but will be repeated on 4/28/2018 at 3pm SLT. Since I was curious about the amateur play, and like to explore new Sims, I agreed gladly. Then I had to gulp as he said that we as the audience were somehow playing along, and since he is the senior visor there, I would have to come as his slave girl. So I should put on my outfit that he already knew from our harem week in the Sunshine Cove Family.

My thoughts about Serenity Lost

What about Serenity Lost? 

These questions are repeated often in the Group "Unsettling the Serene". And again and again the note of Trina in the group is pointed out. Wow, and that note is really clearly. For me was the day as Trina closed the Sim to the public, a bad day. SecondLife became a bit emptier. I've been looking through my photos, and I've found some memories.

Where I am here?  A wonderful dark sim. I did stumple in this sim wandering through secondlife and get lost. What happen next?

Yesterday was a Launching- Party for 2 new bikes from the CSC Factory and Shop. I was really very happy that Little and Scub Mavendorf invited me to this event again. Some weeks before i visited a launch party before. And I was so curious, thus I planned the time to stop by. And the two had married shortly before, also in our virtual life a wonderful and dreamlike moment. My warmest congratulations to both of them.

My last post was already about our Easter parties. And even now I would like to report on it once again. We have created a colourful garden above the Sunshine Pub and Sunshine Garage. And our event on Saturday is a "Celebration of Spring" with the theme "Mystical Creatures". So it will be a colorful party and imaginations and fantasies for the outfits are no limits given. It's fun fun to go shopping and arrange a corresponding outfit. I've decided to go to the event as a fairy. What woman didn't dream of being a fairy even as a little girl? In SecondLife we can make dreams come true. And we can go back to our dreams from the childhood.

And after garden and outfit were finished, I did a photo shoot.

A few days ago I discovered my joy of boating in Secondlife, in my Flickr account you can also see pictures like this. Very good friends of mine had invited me to a boat trip on the Blake Sea, and the trip into the sunrise was a really intense experience here in SecondLife, and a lot of memories have come back to me. I am really grateful that Eva and Aurora gave me this experience. So I bought a motorboat for cruising with friends and a catamaran for fun sailing, and started to explore the sailing areas here in SecondLife.

Actually, I've been planning this for a while. So today I was very happy about an invitation to sail. At the beginning I have been sailing with a friend several times, but that is many months ago and ended up at every Sim- border for me an involuntary swimming. The whole boat had also landed on the bottom of the sea. So I was curious. When I was asked whether I wanted to sail more comfortably or do something myself and have a lot fun, I decided for the second option. Sailing with the catamaran "Narca 17", I am an action junkie. So I was very curious when I followed the landmark to the Poseidon Centre, the rezzing place for "North Sea" today. The boat already looks like a lot of fun from the outside, and I could hope that a little bit of the RL sailing feeling is possible in SecondLife.

Due to the time difference I had some time yesterday before my Valentine Date and I didn't want to do anything else. I was looking forward to a special date and had to pass the time somehow. Before, I had chosen a suitable outfit for the date, then I went on my way.

My special place for such moments is Armenelos, one of the oldest Sims in the world ofthe  Calas Galadhon Parks. I come here when I'm happy, but also when I'm sad. And I'm here to think about things. Armenelos reminds me of my childhood, the forest with small rivers and lakes, aside of swamps and the beautiful coastline with seagulls. So it was no wonder that it took me to this romantic place. It seems that this place reinforces feelings and invites you to relax and dream. And what could be nicer than a ride?

My friend Scub invited me yesterday to the launch of two new bikes, which builds and sells his girlfriend LittleUnicorn Meredith (Little). We have known each other for several months, he had helped me in the past with simple scripts, so I was very curious to meet him and to see the shop and the bikes of Little.  And I've been looking forward to meeting Little, the girl he's been doing all this stuff with.
