Sunshine Summerland 

This weekend we will open the new Sunshine Sommerland as Part of the Sunshine Realm. We rented the neighbouring lot (Sunshine Realm 2) and redesigned the floor area. The street and the Sunshiner's Pub are moved to the other side, behind it a harbour reminiscent of a small French harbour. This frees up the old area for new ideas. The landing bridges connect both plots on the lake side, here is also the common landing point for both plots.

We are planning some events for the summer. Of course we want to celebrate the American Independence Day at 7/04 and "La fete nationale", the French National Holliday (Bastille Day) at 7/14 accordingly this year as well. I remember those two amazing parties last year. The now more open and wider street with the pub in the background offers the best setting for new wonderful parties. But we have many more ideas for this summer.

Today the Soccer World Cup started in Russia. Now we have some fans, and it is only possible for the fewest to travel to Russia. But fortunately, that's what SecondLife is for. We bring the Soccer World Championship to the Sunshine Realm. A new festival ground, a soccer field with bleachers and light, invites us to joyful parties in the time of the championship. We had a lot of fun to build this place together. Now we hope that our guests will like it and also enjoy it.

We will start this Friday 6/15/2018 with our Opening Party at the Soccer Field. All are invited, and we hope the guests will show the national colors in sportive clothes.

When you visit the Summerland, the Beach Club in the background stands out. We are especially looking forward to the new launch of the Sunshine Cove Beach Club and to some exciting summer parties here. This club was a home for many of us, we loved being there, and the name Sunhine Realm is a reminder of this club and an incentive. So at least for the summer this club is back again. I'm really looking forward to it.

After the World Cup we will dismantle the provocative station to make room for a new special event. Between August 15 and 18, 1969, the "Woodstock Music & Art Fair - 3 Days of Peace & Music" took place as the highlight of the hippie movement. We want to use this as a theme to combine sun, beach and sea with the hippie movement and folk, country and rock music, and create an open air festival place for our very personal Woodstock memorial festival here in SecondLife. We're starting it a year before the 50th anniversary.

There are still some hidden places and details in the country, so it's worth visiting and exploring Sunshine Summerland. We are all looking forward to your visit, of course also to suggestions and ideas, or simply the opinion. This blog has an opportunity to write comments.
