Sunshine Realm

Today we look back at the first 6 months here in the land of the Sunshine Family. It was an interesting time, and I am glad that Misty is back as Coowner of the land since some months. Its so much more fun to do things together with friends, and with Misty is a very experienced partner at my side. I am glad to have the chance to learn more from her. That's how "Angy's homeland 4.0" became the name "Sunshine Garage" some weeks ago.

Together we have decided now to rename our home sim to "Sunshine Realm" some days before. We want describe the whole sim with all places  with this new name. Aside of our well-known Garage are the Pub and the Garden unique and famous event places in Secondlife now. And we change from week to week between this places.

We also had some special events in our own theme weeks. Some of these have developed into today's central locations. You will find INTAN Dance balls at each place in the sim. Aside the couple dance hud with more as 130 dances are the female hud (red) with more nearly 500 dances and the male hud with more as 30 dances. So its fun to come and relax at the Sunshine places. Take you the time to explore the sim, you will find teleporter which bring you to the different levels. 

Here a description about our spots.

Sunshiner's Pub

The Sunshiner's Pub is located at the ground of the sim. At the backend of a nice street in the style of the 19th century will you find the Pub right hand and the doors are wide open to welcome you at this comfy place. Aside of a huge dancefloor with the stage is a bar with a lot drinks, some tables to stand and talk with friends and a corner with the heating and some tables and chairs for a dinner with your friends. We changed some at the textures, thanks for your help Bic. He made a lot of the textures for us. With this we could make this to a unique place in SecondLife. 

The street around the Pub was designed from Misty for our Mardi Gras- Special Week in February. We wanted a flair of the French Quarter in New Orleans for our events. We added for the landing point the docks with an amazing view about the sea, and in the street.

We discussed after this and decide to keep the street for further use. So we had fast the idea to add a Irish Pub for the St. Patrick Weekend which was close. After a shopping tour we chosen the building which we use today. Misty changed the colos of the roof and balcony borders and we started to decoreded it.

We celebrated a formal dance evening at 3/16/2018. Our DJ Valantine entertained us for this event, and following St. Patrick we called it "Formal in Green". It was not easy to find gowns in green for this special evening, but we had fun all. 

One day later followed 2 events with DJ Elsa and DJ Vanny. It was St. Patrick Day in RL. We called it "Green Beer" Party night and it should have the vibe of a Irish Pub. At the end were 45 people at this party, at a day with a lot events in rl a good result.

Planned was the Pub only for the St. Patrick Day. We moved the parties back into the garage, and then we decided to keep the pub as the second venue. But we didn't want to do it with the common club building, which other use in sl too. So we started to redesign the pub. In addition to the new bar, awnings and Bic's textures are what make the building what it is today. Our Sunshiner's.

The bar is modificated to. We used 2 corpuses and there are a lot bento animations in it. About the bar is a coffered ceiling with the Logo again, with a typical blue light and color of the Sunshiner's.

We opened the Sunshiner's Pub at 4/20/2018 with a wonderful Reopening Party. And a lot guests came to celebrate this with us. . Since this is the Pub a event place in our Sunshine Realm and we had a lot amazing parties here.

Sunshine Garage

The Garage is the oldest event venue in the Sunshine Realm. I had some stress with my lands last year, so the version numbers of my "homeland" quickly counted up. One of my landlords increased the rent without announcement and became insolent, and the next closed 2 regions in a short time and forced me to move. So I redesigned a few things with each move, and during the penultimate move I added a large and eerie underground car park under a skybox. Misty liked it when I showed her the new land, and she asked if we could have a party there. It quickly became concrete, I got the necessary equipment and extended the garage to a place for a rave party. At 10/08/2017 we started the first underground party in the garage, we called it the first time "Haunted Garage".

When we started planning Halloween 2017 we wanted to have 4 different parties. However, this also means that the preparation time is short. We decided therefore to move one of the parties to the Haunted Garage again. Everything was ready from the last underground rave, we just had to decorate. So our "Horror Movie Halloween" took place at the 10/28/2017 in the Haunted Garage. Again we had a lot of fun and it was a successful evening.

At the begin of december came it to a disaster. It was really a black day. In the weeks before this were some awesome events, like Veterans Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving or the Harvest festival, but there was also a lot stress. The daily routine took over and so it was only logical that Misty closed the Sunshine Cove Beach Club. No coaxing helped. Valantine and I felt lost, but we organised the final party in our "old" home club. If the Sunshine Cove Beach Club had to close than should this happen with an awesome last party. But after this we had to find new places and ideas. We decided, no matter what Misty would do, to continue the events. For me, i would show Misty that we can do this, that she isn't alone with the Club stuff and can build on us. It was an big step for us. Valantine had already the Room Club, I had the Haunted Garage, so we splitted the events between us and organized everything. At the 12/09/2017 was the official opening for the later Sunshine Realm, first with the name of my Homeland "Angy's Homeland 3.0" and the "Haunted Garage".

A few days after the opening I had to move again. My landlord of that time once again closed a region, and as expected it was the one in which my country was located. It was exactly the week before Christmas. So I rushed the garage to a new country. Through Misty's recommendation I changed to my current landlord "Jewels Island". And there was no interruption. This is how we came to our current location. That was even luck in disguise, because we had the ground completely free for a Christmas landscape, the Sunshine Winterland. The Christmas Party and the New Year Eve Party were in this Winterland.

We returned to the garage on 1/05/2018 for the first underground party in 2018. Valantine entertained us with honest and good rock music and a lot people followed our invitation to the first party in 2018.

I had decided not to rebuild my Homeland and concentrate on the events instead. We stayed in the following week in the Garage and organized special events in skyboxes or at the ground. In this time the Event place grown, more people came and we opened new places in the land. It was time to reorganize the land and group.

We decided to open the Pub as regular event venue and renamed the garage to "Sunshine Garage". Misty became Coowner if the land and we reorganized the groups. We celebrate an renaming party for the Garage on 3/25/2018 and worked same time at the rebuild of the Pub.

Sunshine Garden

As we planned the event for the easter time at a new place. We come from all parts of the world, Secondlife is borderless, and we have different religions. So we sought the common theme in this holiday and found it as "Celebration of Spring".  Which place could be better for such event as a wonderful colored garden and fairyland. We used a sky platform to create a new place and in 3 days the Sunshine Garden was mostly finished.

As we finished this place we was impressed about the vibe here, and concreted the theme for easter events to "mystical creatures". First we planned the new garden only for Easter Time. We had planned 2 events here. On 3/30 we had the Bunny Party with the Easter Egg Hunt. Valantine created this hunt and was our DJ at this evening. Here is only the Google Images Album with Pictures. The second Party was "Mystical Creatures Party" at 3/31/2018. It was an amazing event with so many crazy and colored creatures. It was one of the best events so far.

Sadly couldn't all of our friends took part at this event. So we decided to keep the garden a week longer, and repeat the party one week later at 4/07/2018. Here some pictures in a Google Images Album. We would use the garden for the last days and because its inspired us, we did organize a formal dance night at 4/14/2018 at this wonderful and unique place. All of us love formal owns, we looked forward for a wonderful evening. I added some more lights and we had an awesome night together. The Highlight was a fireworks at the end.

By now it was clear that we would keep the garden. We really built it together, it was beautiful. So we shortened the skybox and changed the landing zone, and the Sunshine Garden was our 3rd venue. Late in the day, we needed a new name. From now on our country is called "Sunshine Realm". We made a BBQ Party with our friends at 5/12/2018 to celebrate this.

Now we were in the Sunshine Realm and looking forward for new events and ideas.

Specials

The tradition of the Sunshine Family is the preparation for special events and theme weeks. The sim which we use today is born from one of this specials, an underground rock event in the Garage. At this time the Garage was in my former land located, which was closed in the week before christmas through the landlord.

Underground Rock

An abandoned underground garage with wet walls and dripping noises invites you to an underground party. So the first event in today's Sunshine Realm was only planned as a unique rave. It was some preparation. I needed a Contest Board, the DJ Board, i must learned how to set the land for an open event. But with Misty's active support we started the first party here at 8/10/2017 with an Underground Rock Rave.

Halloween

The next special was Halloween 2017. We planned 4 different events, so we had only short time to prepare each venue. We decided to move one of the parties in the Haunted Garage gain. The place was ready from the rave and we needed only decorations. And the Haunted Garage was a good place for Halloween. We started our Horrow Movie Halloween Party on 10/28/2017 in the Haunted Garage.

Christmas and New Years Eve in the Sunshine Winterland

Through the problems with my landlord and the necessary move in the week before christmas we had a lot space at the ground of the new land. Valantine and me started to build a Winterland, with a Ice rink, some decoration, a christmas market and a decorated house with a lot lights. It was a wonderful place to celebrate the Christmas.

The Winterland was open over the holidays and we used it for our New Year Eve's Party too. DJ Elsa and DJ Vanny entertained us at this special place in the snow.

Game of Thrones - Special Week

The Game of Thrones Special week is the first event Highlight of the Sunshine Cove Group in the Year 2018. We built a special place for this purpose, a throne room with the iron throne, banners of the houses, dragons and light effects. We hope that the place will like our guest and help to build the vibe for such event week. Thanks Bic for your work at the banners and flags, and your help with the light. It was supposed to be a special week, so this building was actually one of the most elaborate.

This Place took you at trip to the continents of Westeros and Essos. On the ground were old ruins with the landing point. In front of the ruins was a river. Over a bridge you came into the ruined castle, following a path with the banners of the kingdoms to the mystical portal that brought the guests into the throne room.

Raves of Thrones

We started the GoT special week with the "Rave of Thrones" event at the 1/09/2018 and  opened the new created skybox for the publicity. I was totally nervous after the days of preparation. How many people would come? Would the guests like the new place? We wanted introduce our guests to the world of Game Of Throne with the medieval vibe in the throne room of the seven kingdoms. Would it work? And it was fantastic, over 50 people followed us in this world to our first GoT event. All the work was worth it. And the investment in a lot of new material was also good.

DJ Yezika was our DJ for this night. She played some matching music and sure, some themes from the tv series too. With Ruby and Vanny at her side she entertained the guests very well like usual.

Rock On The Iron Throne

The 2nd event of our "Game of Thrones" - Special Week was the "Rock On The Iron Throne" 1/12/2018. We had an evening with different rock and metal music played by our stunning DJ Valantine.

Party in the big Throne Room of our GoT Skybox. Surely a new experience. Rock on the Iron Throne. Our guests came with different outfits, woman in gowns and men in armors, we had wildings and dragons there. It was fun to see the fanciful outfits. Nearly 35 people following our invitation in the world of GoT. We played Trivia together with questions around the world of the tv serie "Game of Thrones" and had a lot fun with this. Some of the answers are very long for the trivia ball in secondlife, but to talk about it was it worth. And Anya and Sheri were our Trivia masters this night, and Anya did scoop the market and answered the most questions.

Ball of Dragons

The last event of our "Game of Thrones" Week was the Ball of Dragons on 1/13/2018. For the most of us was this the highlight of week. We all love Formal Dance Nights, so it was obvious to have a ball in the GoT week too. We planned 2 DJs for the event and had split up the contest. A difficult issue for our DJs to find the best music for this mix.

At 2:00 o' clock was the ball in full swing. We had to improvise. So DJ Valantine took over the first part at short notice and played enchanting music matching the theme. Thank you so much Valantine for covering Elsa so fast.

The guests came in elegant and beautiful gowns and suits. So we had a lot fun, and the music and the vibe in the room made us dream all. The first part was very family-like. For all the insiders, Dundee was on a diet. Poor Dundee.

DJ Vanny took over the DJ Desc for the second part. She started with music from the tv series and goes over to more rocking tunes. Thank you so much Vanny  for this wonderful set too. The second part was better visited. A later start time seems better for the most member in the crowd. So we were 40 guests over the time. Thanks for all guests, and all Sunshine Girls for making this event so special again.

One Night in the Harem

There was the idea about Arabian nights as a special theme for one week in our clubs for some time. The idea didn't only help me to create a new amazing outfit, a new place in a SkyOrb took quickly envolved. As we finished this place, we organized a new event week "One week in a harem - Arabian Nights" (1/29-2/04/2018). 

The lovely sunshine girls were harem girls for a week. The beauties come from all continents of the world and speak different languages. Wrapped in fine silk they danced to the pleasure of our guests. And because it was a harem and we were in an adult area, many toys invited to enjoy adult entertainment. Let us go in the Harem!

We were very busy to assembling the Harem of the Sunshine Group in our Sim. It was an interesting time with some very good conversations, visits to other beautiful Sims and the search for suitable background music for the time when there is no DJ here. After all, the Sim should enchant the senses for a whole week.

1st Harem Night

The first harem night was at 1/30/2018. its each time exciting to wait what people would say to a new place. After the Throne Room in our GoT Week was the  leveling rule very high. But at the end it was an amazing and colorful event at this nice place.

2nd Harem Night

We had the second event of our "Arabic night's" special week at 2/02/2018. Like every Friday we were in the ROOM Club before and on time at 4pm SLT we changed to the harem in the Sunshine Family Sim. Our wonderful DJ Valantine took the DJ desk and after some rock songs she played wonderful oriental music and got us all into the right mood for a night in a oriental harem.

Again not only our friends had come, many of our group members had followed the invitation for this evening. The harem was well-filled with more than 40 guests. We had some new visitors, but unfortunately this should turn out to be a rather nasty surprise. Unfortunately, not all users come to SecondLife to have fun, and like in real life, there are fraudsters and people who want to get rich at the costs of others. But, its a way to learn. More than 60 people have been there over the time. Most of the guests and Sunshine Girls had also chosen suitable costumes and made the harem to a colorful place.

Our After Party's are also a nice tradition. Most of the guests leave us after the contests, so stay some friends always together. Most people don't even know what they're missing. Also this time we stayed together and had fun dancing together. It is usually very hot. DJ Valantine continued to play.

3rd Harem Night

After the problems with the contest yesterday, I was very nervous about whether everything would work out at the 2/03/2018 in our 3rd harem night. The highlight of our harem week, Saturday between 2pm and 6pm SLT, 2 DJs and 2 Contests. It was a lot work to prepare all and we wouldn't allow a new distribution. So we checked and resetted the board again.

Right on time at 2pm we started the first part with DJ Elsa. The first contest and as expected some visitors. DJ Elsa played wonderful music that took us all away in a thousand and one nights. We all had a lot of fun in the first 2 hours. And also some friends who haven't been with us for a few weeks use the topic and visited us.

At 4pm slt DJ Yezika took over the DJ's desk and played rock music and increased the tempo. As expected, some new guests came along and the group of Sunshine rockers also got bigger again. We finished the 1st harem week of the Sunshine Cove Family at 6pm and determined the winners of the 2nd contest. Everything worked out this time, too. Fortunately!

Mardi Gras

In many countries carnival is very popular. And with the Sunshine Cove family we have a tradition of colourful carnival events. So we make us thought about it this year too, and had already starts days before to prepare a place. After a normal carnival and carnival in Brazil we wanted to go this year to the south of the USA and celebrate "Mardi Gras" in New Orleans.

Now it's difficult to rebuild the French Quarter in a few days, and it's probably too expensive for a single day. But we wanted to recreate the flair of the street carnival of New Orleans in SecondLife. Misty do built an amazing street szene as place for our annual carneval event.

The landing point was on the docks on the coast. From here you can enjoy the sea behind you with the light house or have a look at our Sunshine Cove's French Quarter. At the back of the street was a party truck parked and the events took place in front of this. 

After the long preparation we were very nervous before our grand Mardi Gras party. Was everything really ready or had we forgotten something. Would our guests accept the theme and would there be enough people coming to make this party a success? Many unanswered questions, and few people can understand how much work these theme parties do, that new venues are always being built and everything prepared. This time Misty had built up the lead and the road. I was only responsible for the fences and decorations with the party truck, and I was really happy not to be in charge this time.

We started our Grand Mardi Gras Party with the Pregaming at 2/13/2018. DJ Valantine played for 2 hours a Mix of tradional music with rock and we had a lot fun. Our invitation for the first seesion followed 25 persons and turned our french quarter into a colorful place. We sais thank to our guests with a first unplanned contest about 500 Linden.

My favourite this time was Eva, who had chosen a wonderful outfit for her elf avatar that was not so colorful after the skin color. And yet sticking out.

The Grand Mardi Gras started without to break right at 5pm slt with our DJ Yezika and Ruby. Later followed Vanny and other Nightwishes and made this to a family party. The place was filled fast with more people, the american guests came from work and joined us. So were 45 people to our party, over the time more as 55 persons. Considering that many people also went to the RL to celebrate, this is a good result. And everyone followed the theme, so the street was full of colourful people.

After the party it's already before the next one. We had another wonderful after party and we talked about possible topics and ideas for the next party. I am sure it will be exciting and we are all looking forward to the next venue. And we are again nervous about how this idea is accepted and whether there will be enough visitors. So this party didn't change anything, we're still curiously excited.

St. Paty

We had amazing Saint Patrick Day Parties in the last years. A reason for a new special week. Like every year we wanted celebrate a huge Saint Patrick party with the Sunshine Cove Family. And of course we had come up with something special again. We decided some weeks before to use our French Quarter for St. Patrick which Misty built for the Mardi Gras Week in February. We removed a building and makes place for a new Club / Pub. The Sunshine Pub was born. So we were back in the land below, everyone could enjoy the new club, but also a fantastic sunset in this unique street. And of course we let the pigs out, beer and drinks were free for all again.

We weren't ready with all, but we wanted show the new place to our friends and guests. We were sure, we would change some in the following days before St. Patrick. So we moved the Saturday Event at 3/10/2018 from the Garage to the land in the new Sunshine Pub. We celebrated an amazing opening event for this.

Some of our friends followed the invitation to our Opening. DJ Elsa started at 2pm for two hours with good music. We increased the Contest to 1,000 Linden and the mood in the Pub was really very good.

As next came DJ Vanny at 4pm slt and spinned rocking music till 6:30pm and we opened a second Contest with 1,000 Linden. Some new guests came, we all had a lot fun, and the new place made fun for the following special week.

Formal in Green

We love all formal dance balls. The new Sunshine Pub with the big room was perfect, so as the connection to St. Patrick and the color green. So we were all curious before how this is accepted by our guests and friends. Of course, shopping was a lot of fun before. But green is not the color of choice for most of us. I had written it before, for me green is the color for a bridesmaids' dresses to make sure that none of the best girl friends looks better than the bride self. So we were also curious which gowns the girlfriends would choose. 

We started punctually at 4pm on 3/16/2018. The first of us had celebrated together in the ROOM Club of Valantine already, and we all came together in our Irish Sunshine Pub. The atmosphere was very good right from the start. Valantine played a mix of Irish and romantic music, and soon more guests came to us. In the end we were 25 friends and guests, and the evening was a wonderful experience for everyone.

Even if it is unimaginable for some, it is possible to spend time in a virtual world together with friends and have fun. To listen to good music, and even dance. The imagination and dreams are free, and all you have to do is let go. And place like the venues in the Sunshine Realm help to let dreams going.

Green Beer Party

At 3/17/2018 is the St. Patrick Day, and like good irish people and fans of this, kisses were freeeeeeee in this amazing night. And we had have our long night here together with our friends and guests. And of sure, the green beer were free. So we called it "Green beer party". Like each saturday we had 2 parts. In the first of our St. Paty evening entertained us DJ Elsa between 2pm and 4pm. She played wonderful fresh irish music and brought us in the right mood for a wonderful Saint Patrick. Like usual was the first part more calm, the most of our guests are from the USA and South America, so its afternoon there. But some guests followed our invitation, and Elsa was amazing like anytime. At the end of the first part we had 25 guests in the Pub. This isn't so bad for the first part. So it was a good warmup for the second part.

At 4pm took Vanny the DJ Stream and she was amazing like usual too. She started with more rocking music, but over the time she played a colored mix of good music. And how we expected came our guests and friends and the sunshine pub was filled with a lot green people. We started the contest for the best St. Patrick Clothes with 1,000.00 Linden to split.

After one hour were the room well filled with amazing dressed people, and a donor gave the money to increase the jackpot to 1,250.00 Linden. We promised to increasing the jackpod again, if enough people would joining our party. But only 15 minutes later came an other donor and gave 250.00 Linden for the pot. So we could increase the jackpot to 1.500,00 Linden and extended the time for the contest at 6:30pm. We messaged the group about this, and gave the guests the chance to invite friends, to be part of this amazing party and to join the contest. 

But this wasn't the end. With this donations we started a process. Some minutes later came the next donor for the contest. It was really totally crazy. Its don't happen often that we have such a jackpot in the contest, maybe it was the green beer and the amazing music of Vanny. We increased the jackpot to 1,750.00 Linden. Wow, it was so awesome. Everyone could sweeping his friendlist and could putting it at the head and to shaking it. It was the totally madness. We were at 1,750.00 Linden and the vibe in the Pub was amazing.And we got some new guests and with this some new members in the Sunshine Rocker Group.

The Sunshine Girls were motivated and enthusiastic too, so it came that some of us danced topless at this evening. But this madness didn't stopped with. It's was like a rat race. Only 10 minutes later came the new message for the guests. The last donor increased the jackpot again, and we scored the 2,000.00 Linden. It was so stunning. It was the highest jackpot in the club land since long time. This was the party night, we doubled the jackpot in some more as 30 minutes. This was a signal, and some more guests joined the party. At the end we had 45 guests, about the time were more as 60 persons in the Pub. And a lot of this joined the contest, the most came with amazing St. Paty Clothes.

Celebration of Spring

Like every year, we're planning special events for Easter time. Now are our friends not only from all parts of the world, some are christian and other jewish. some are muslim and other atheistical. We are a varicolored crowd. So we tried to go back to the orgin of this holiday for a shareable event, because this rite is much older. People of all times and cultures have welcomed spring with joy. It is the time when nature awakens and we look forward. We built for this event a new place in SecondLife, our Garden about the Sunshine Garage with lovely edges and a lot colored flowers. Let us take a first view at this place and the upcoming event, a festival of life, our "Celebration of Spring".

Swinging as Fairy in the amazing Sunshine Garden

You will find nice places in the garden. Left and right are small meadows with some chairs and tables, trees and a swing. And there are couple dance balls. A wonderful place to spend some romantic time with your partner.

Bunny Party

We started our Easter parties at 3/30/2018. The symbol of eastern is the bunny. So we celebrated a "Bunny Party" at 4pm. We had a contest with 1,000 Linden to split for the best bunny costume.

Valantine prepared a EASTER Egg Hunt in the Garden. A lot people running through the place at her search for the Eggs. There were 10 eggs with small gifts hidden in the Garden. It was an amazing idea from Valantine.

Mystical Creatures

We had our first Mystical Creature Party on 3/31/2018 in the new Sunshine Garden. With this event we wanted to establish a connection between the cultures and celebrate the spring and a new beginning at Easter. Therefore we have designed the beautiful Sunshine Garden, which is not only exotic and colorful, there are also many beautiful and hidden corners. Some nice toys invited you to spend time with friends and have fun. And yes, the land is adult.

Punctually at 2:00 pm we started with the party. As usual the first part was quieter, but in the end we had more than 20 guests and many have come in beautiful costumes also. DJ Elsa needed some time to meet people's tastes, but after a few minutes she played fresh music in anticipation of spring. And that's what we wanted to celebrate that day. Many went again in search of the Easter eggs which Valantine had hidden for everyone. 

At 4:00 pm there was the change to DJ Vanny. She entertained us with more rocking music. It got fuller fast in the rondel. In the light of the lanterns around, under the mystical light with fairy dust and fireflies all had fun and laughed a lot. Unfortunately some of our friends couldn't come due to family celebrations or obligations in RL. Certainly couldn't come some of our regulars either. But in the end we had 40 visitors.

Now it was some work to build this garden, and prepare costumes. Therefore we have decided to repeat the event at the following Saturday (4/07/2018).

Cinco de Mayo

The Clubs of the Sunshine Cove Family have a long tradition of special events. Cinco de Mayo is a famous day for our friends from Mexico and Latin America. And its a very funny and colorful party. We celebrate it in the "Cream Dance Club" in 2015, in the "Trails End Music Hall" in 2016 and last in the unforgettable "Sunshine Cove Beach Club" last year.

 And we wanted continue this tradition this year too. We did discussing about the best place for the party this year and decide us for a street party in front of the Sunshiner's Pub. So we ordered some street vendors and a party truck to prepare this place for a new famous Cinco de Mayo Party. And the street in front of the Sunshiner's Pub was in Mexico at this Weekend.

We decorated for an amazing party with our friends. We served a lot tequila and corona beer at this days for free.

Preheating

We started the event right at 4pm on 5/04/2018 and DJ Valentine entertained us with a wonderful mix of mexican and hispanic music. The place before the stage truck was fast filled with a colored crowd of people. Most of them weared matching clothes. We had a lot fun together. Most of them joined the Contest, and some old guests joined us again after a longer break. And again were some new guests there, surprised about the crowd of people and the fun.

So its usual that some of us lost the tops and shirts, some a bit more. We danced together und had a lot fun. Our sunshine girl Celi used the special "dances" and enjoyed her partner of the night with more as a romantic dance. This pictures are, hmmm, maybe you can find them at an other place.

Cinco de Mayo Street Festival

After our preheating party at the day before we celebrated our Cinco de Mayo Party 2018 at 5/05/2018. All were prepared and we looked forward for 4 hours with fun and good music, with tequila and beer, and with mexican food at the festival place we built for this event in front of the Sunshiner's Pub. We were shopping all before and the place should be filled with a crowd of colorful people.

We started the first event right at 2pm with DJ Elsa. She preheated us for the main event with matching music and we had a lot fun. So the first 2 hours passed like in flight. At 4pm the Nightwishes have taken over the culture program for the crowd. Vanny was our DJ and Ruby as host for the main event. Both looked so cute in the dress. They entertained us for the next 2 hours with music from Mexico and Latin America. 

We all had fun and laughed and danced a lot. As usual, the place filled quickly. All came with typical dresses, it was really a wonderful crowd at the fairground. When we were almost 40 people, we started an action. If the 40th guest would be on the fairground, we would raise the jackpot for the contest to 1,500 Linden. And soon the time had come and we had 1,500 Linden in the Jackpot. We made another call and started an speed run to get maybe 50 guests, than we would increase the contest to 2,000 Linden. But there were only 48 at the end as we closed the contest board. Some came to late.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is an important holiday in the USA. This is celebrated every year on the last Monday in May in honour of those killed in war for their country. This year its on 5/28/2018. Memorial Day dates back to the American Civil War. Originally on this day the dead soldiers in this war were commemorated, after the First World War this was extended to all American soldiers killed in war. We decided to make a special weekend before this monday in our land with 2 events, the Preheating at friday and the Rock Night at Saturday. 

We used for this the urban skybox with a basketball court and prepared this place for the event. Like each time is the preparation time often an highlight. Aside the decorations was the stage truck in the center again.

Memorial Weekend Preheating Party

We started the weekend before the Memorial day at 5/25/2018 with a preheating party. DJ Valantine entertained us with rocking music and the place behind the old farmhouse was well filled with people. Some in a military look, other with the honor for the usa flag. We had a lot fun together.

Memorial Day Weekend Rock Night

The main event for memeorial day was at 5/26/2018. A lot friends followed the invitation to the masketball court in the urban skybox. It was a wonderful evening with our friends and guests.
