The Sunshine Realm

Sunshine Realm is our Sim where we make events for the members of the Sunshine Cove Group and our friends. Since October both Sims connected and owned by Misty and me. We have a lot different places for our events at 3 levels. Aside the Sunshine Garage where the story of this sim as follower of the Sunshine Cove Beach Club in 2017 under the name Haunted Garage started have we the Sunshiner's Pub and the Sunshine Garden too. 

We added this summer new Places and moved some. So is the new "middle" of our Realm the "Trails End Music Hall", a former club of Misty wjich we revieved. We switching our events between this places and trying to match the event best to the actual theme and appointments.

In the street in front of the Sunshiner's Pub are sometime street festival events. For example we celebrated the "Mardi Gras" Street Carneval  here, and the Cinco de Mayo- Weekend.

About the summer we rented a second sim and opened the Sunshine Summerland with a Soccer Field and the revived Sunshine Cove Beach Club.

This place in SecondLife


This was founded in December 2017 with the name "The Haunted Garage". It is a Club of the Sunshine Cove Group. We run these clubs to have fun with our friends, because we like music and dance together. And we enjoy building new sets and organizing special events. This makes our clubs unique and individual.

I don't want make profit with this and I don't want run this club permanently. It isn't a business case. I want run some events till a new club will opening and want give the Sunshine Cove Family a Place to stay together. The land fee and prices for contests are much higher as each donation or income. This isn't a comercial Place. And to prepare and run special parties like Halloween, the Winterland, the "Game of Thrones" week, MArdi Gras or Saint Patrick are costly too. SecondLife is a Game, and it should be only a game in each case. And creating virtual worlds like clubs and running special events is part of this. And I love to sharing these creations with others, thats and only that is the reason for existence of this place in SecondLife.

History

This is an event place that i opened in my land in december 2017. The official opening event was at the 12/09/2017. The orginal name of the club was "The Haunted Garage".

But there were events some weeks before and it was more random. As I created my land after a necessary move new, i rezzed the -Virtual Decay- Underground Parking Garage in a skybox. When my girlfriend Misty saw this underground garage, she said that it could be a wonderful place for a randomly party and wished one for her. So the expansion to an underground club started with the equipment for DJs and contests, TipJars and effects. We redesigned the landing zone and the departure to the garage. And started the first party there at 10/07/2017. 

When we were preparing the Halloween parties, we wanted variety. So we moved an event to the garage again. The necessary equipment was already available, we only had to decorate the place for the party. On 10/28 the "Horror Movie Halloween" party took place in the garage. That's where the name "The Haunted Garage" was born. This was also a wonderful party.

In December Misty spontaneously closed the Sunshine Cove Beach Club. After one last night, Valantine and I were looking for solutions to show that we could take responsibility and keep the club running. Valantine had opened the Room Club a few days earlier, I had my garage where events had already taken place. We wanted to share the events and work to provide a place for the Sunshine Cove family. Just one day after we turned off the lights at the Sunshine Cove Beach Club, the first official party took place here.

In the Christmas Time and to New Year Eve we did created a Winter Wonderland for our events. We had an amazing place for our special events in this time with a small Christmas Market like in the Year before and the festival place with the skating rink. 

With the "Game of Thrones Week" in January and "Arabian Nights, one week in Harem" in February followed 2 special weeks with expensive preparations and builds. Both were successful and we could won new visitors for this place. Mardi Gras and Saint Patrick- Parties completed the program. For both we used the ground again and built a "French Quarter". Here is the Sunshine Pub as unit of the place locate.

Since 3/24/2018 is the official name of the land "The Sunshine Garage". We celebrated this with a party and 57 visitors.
