Upcoming Events

I have added this page to my blog to inform about the upcoming events at the Sunshine Realm. So all visitors, friends and Sunshine Girls have the possibility to prepare themselves. At the bottom of this page you'll find the list of events in 2019.

The regular dates for our events with various themes are 
  • Tuesday between 5pm - 7:30 pm
  • Friday between 4pm - 6pm
  • Saturday between 4pm - 6pm
For each of the events we will have a contest with 1,000 L$ in splitmode. After the events there will be after-parties. the following list contains the next themes for the events.

Heads up! We will do additional events on Sunday at 3pm. Here comes Joaquin Gustav from Argentina and will perform live for one hour. This event will take place without contest.
 You will find our place at this landmark in the Grid of SecondLife.

Please read and respect our rules if you join our events. 

Please note. This schedule is still provisional and can be changed by us. We work still at the correct Schedule, but want share it early to give you all the chance to plan the own activities about the holiday time. We will also publish new information on a regular basis. We don’t send group notices anymore -  because honestly, nobody likes spam. Instead, we usually announce the next event right at the end of the current one. So... stick around if you don’t wanna miss out!

This blog page is the go-to place for all the juicy details, dates, and dress codes. We try to keep it updated in time - but hey, real life always comes first (you know... the number one rule of SecondLife). So sometimes, stuff happens. Deadlines crash, the blog throws a tantrum, or life throws us a curveball.

If that ever happens, don’t panic - just poke one of us. We don’t bite... unless it’s on the After Party. 😏

Red Lanterns & Lucky Nights

Luck Looks Better in Red
And tonight, fortune might flirt back

The Sunshine Temple transforms into a sea of red lanterns, golden accents, and drifting light as we celebrate Chinese New Year. Though fashionably late, the celebration is worth the wait. Expect elegance, symbolism, and a touch of mystery. Dress in red, gold, silk, or anything that whispers prosperity and allure. DJ Polpeta sets the tone while the night fills with glowing charm and quiet excitement.

Some celebrations arrive exactly on time. Others arrive when they are truly needed.

Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is one of the most important celebrations in China. In cities like Beijing and Shanghai, streets glow with red lanterns, fireworks light the sky, and families gather to welcome luck, prosperity, and new beginnings.

Tonight, Sunshine Temple borrows that magic. Lanterns sway gently overhead, casting warm golden light across polished floors. Red silk drapes across columns, and the air feels charged with possibility, as if the night itself is offering a fresh start.



Fashion plays with symbolism here. Red for luck and passion. Gold for wealth and success. Flowing cheongsams with high slits that hint more than they reveal. Embroidered jackets with intricate patterns. Silk that moves like water when you walk. In Second Life, you can enhance it all. Glowing accessories, animated lanterns, even subtle particle effects that trail like sparks of fortune.


DJ Polpeta blends modern beats with Asian-inspired rhythms, creating a dance floor that feels both traditional and electric. Guests gather beneath the lanterns, exchanging greetings, posing for photos, and maybe stealing a second glance at someone who seems particularly lucky tonight.

As the official celebration winds down, the temple grows quieter but warmer. Conversations linger. Lanterns dim just slightly. And somewhere between tradition and temptation, the new year truly begins.

Sunshine Garden blossoms into a dream of pink and white as we celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival. Inspired by Japan’s iconic spring tradition, the garden fills with drifting petals, soft light, and quiet romance. Dress in elegant kimonos, flowing fabrics, or modern spring styles with a delicate touch. DJ Yui provides the soundtrack while the world turns briefly into poetry.

There is a moment in spring when everything feels temporary and perfect at the same time.

Sunshine Garden captures that feeling. Trees bloom in impossible shades of pink and white. Petals drift slowly through the air, catching in hair, on shoulders, along the edges of sleeves. The ground itself becomes a canvas of soft color.

Fashion here is poetry in motion. Traditional kimonos with floral patterns. Obi belts tied with precision and flair. Hair adorned with delicate ornaments. Or modern interpretations, soft dresses, pastel suits, fabrics that move gently with every step. This is not a night for bold statements. It is a night for subtle impact.


DJ Yui’s music floats between traditional tones and modern calm rhythms, creating a space where movement feels natural and unhurried. Guests stroll through the garden, pause beneath blooming trees, and take photos that look almost unreal.


As evening settles, the petals keep falling. The official event may end, but the garden remains. A quiet bench. A shared glance. A conversation that lingers longer than expected. Some nights shout. This one whispers.

Boots Hit the Floor, Rules Hit the Door
Country charm with just enough trouble

Trail’s End Music Hall opens its doors for a lively Country Night Barn Dance. Wooden floors, warm lights, and a crowd ready to move. Dress in denim, boots, hats, or anything that feels right for a night of dancing and laughter. DJ Yezika brings the country vibes while the barn fills with energy, charm, and a little bit of mischief.

After two nights of silk, lanterns, and falling petals, the week ends with something a little more grounded.

Trail’s End Music Hall stands sturdy and welcoming, its wooden beams holding the echoes of countless dances. The floor is worn just enough to feel authentic, ready for boots to stomp and slide across it.

Country nights are about freedom in a different way. No strict elegance, no delicate balance. Just movement, rhythm, and the confidence to take someone’s hand and spin them without overthinking it.

Outfits lean into personality. Classic denim jeans, fitted just right. Plaid shirts tied at the waist or worn loose. Leather boots that sound just right when they hit the floor. Cowboy hats tipped low. Or maybe a playful country-glam look with fringe, sparkle, and a little extra attitude.

DJ Yezika blends country classics with modern beats, turning the barn into a place where everyone finds their rhythm. Line dances form, break apart, and reform. Laughter carries easily. Someone misses a step and turns it into a moment.
