Here we go again – diving into the dreamy depths of the Sunshine Realm, where every event is a ticket to a world without limits, where borders dissolve and only imagination sets the rules.
Attention: Please read the Rules for events in our Sim.

We don’t send group notices anymore -  because honestly, nobody likes spam. Instead, we usually announce the next event right at the end of the current one. So... stick around if you don’t wanna miss out!

This blog page is the go-to place for all the juicy details, dates, and dress codes. We try to keep it updated in time - but hey, real life always comes first (you know... the number one rule of SecondLife). So sometimes, stuff happens. Deadlines crash, the blog throws a tantrum, or life throws us a curveball.

If that ever happens, don’t panic - just poke one of us. We don’t bite... unless it’s on the After Party. 😏

Further events can take place on special dates or the normal dates can be changed. Please inform yourself about our plans in time. a list with the past events.

We look forward to meet you at one of our events.

One Sky, One World, One Wish for Peace

Tonight, We Turn Down the Noise
Peep: a quiet corner of Sunshine, where memories meet hope.

September 11 is a date that carries memories for many people, and tonight at Camp Sunshine we pause to remember those whose lives were changed forever.

Our Peace Event is a gathering for reflection, friendship, unity, and hope. No grand costume is required, just a casual look and an open heart. Come as you are, share the evening with friends, listen to the music, and let the peaceful surroundings of Camp Sunshine create a little room for thought.

Sometimes the most powerful statement is simply being together.

Some dates are more than dates.

September 11 is one of them.

For many people around the world, 9/11 brings back memories of a day when ordinary life changed in an instant. People remember loved ones, friends, colleagues, first responders, strangers they never met, and the many lives touched by the events that followed.

Tonight, Camp Sunshine offers a place to pause.

There is no elaborate dress code. Come casual. Wear something comfortable, something that makes you feel like yourself. Perhaps choose soft, natural colors, a simple shirt and jeans, a relaxed summer outfit, or something with a small symbol of peace. A dove, a white flower, a ribbon, a candle, a simple piece of jewelry. Sometimes the smallest details say the most.

Imagine arriving at Camp Sunshine as the evening settles around us. The lights are gentle. The familiar sounds of conversation drift through the air. Friends gather rather than strangers passing by. There is music, but there is also space between the songs for thoughts to wander.

And perhaps that is what this evening should be about.

Not only remembering what happened, but remembering what we want the world to become.

Peace is a surprisingly ambitious idea. It asks us to look beyond borders, arguments, politics, differences and old wounds. It asks us to remember that behind every headline are individual human beings with families, hopes, fears and stories.

Second Life gives us an unusual little gift here. We can create places where people who might never meet in the physical world can stand together. Different countries, different cultures, different lives, all sharing the same virtual sky.

So tonight, let's use that gift.

Take photographs. Sit with friends. Talk. Listen. Perhaps find a quiet place around Camp Sunshine and simply watch the evening change. Let the landscape become part of the memory.

There is no need for grand speeches.

A peaceful gathering can be its own message.

And when the music begins to carry us toward the evening, dance if you feel like dancing. Smile. Laugh with your friends. Enjoy being together.

Because remembering does not mean refusing to live.

It means carrying the memories with us while choosing, whenever we can, to build something better.

Tonight, Sunshine stands for peace.

When Summer Fades, the Ballroom Awakens

Leave the Beach Behind. Bring the Drama.
Peep: autumn has arrived, and apparently it expects formalwear.

Summer is slipping away, and Autumn is making a rather elegant entrance.

Tonight, Sunshine Temple transforms into a formal autumn gathering filled with evening light, seasonal atmosphere and just enough glamour to make ordinary clothes feel terribly underdressed.

Bring your finest formal look. Gowns, tuxedos, suits, evening dresses, elegant accessories, dramatic hairstyles and whatever personal touch makes your avatar feel like they just stepped into the opening scene of a very expensive movie.

The leaves are changing.

The dress code is not negotiable.

📅 September 12, 2026 | 🕓 4:00 PM | 📍 Sunshine Temple | 🎧 with DJ Yui

Summer doesn't disappear all at once.

First, the evenings become cooler. Then the sunlight changes. The garden becomes a little quieter. Somewhere, almost unnoticed, the first leaves begin to turn.

And suddenly, Autumn is standing at the door wearing evening gloves.

Sunshine Temple is the perfect setting for this transition. Tonight, we're stepping away from beachwear and backyard parties and into something considerably more elegant.

This is the Autumn Formal.

Think evening gowns beneath warm lights. Dark suits and polished shoes. Velvet, satin, silk, lace, flowing fabrics and carefully chosen jewelry. Rich seasonal tones can create a wonderful autumn feeling, but don't feel trapped by a traditional palette. Ivory, champagne, burgundy, emerald, midnight blue, bronze, gold and deep plum all have their moment here.

Your outfit should tell a little story.

Perhaps you're arriving at the Temple for a grand autumn ball.

Perhaps you're the mysterious guest who appeared just after sunset and knows everyone except the person who invited you.

Perhaps you're royalty.

Perhaps you're absolutely not royalty, but you've decided that tonight you're going to behave as though you are.

That's the beauty of Second Life formalwear.

Reality says a gown needs a reason.

Second Life says the reason is Tuesday.

Pay attention to the details. Gloves. Jewelry. Hair. Shoes. Masks. Cloaks. Elegant accessories. Maybe a vintage-inspired look. Maybe modern couture. Maybe something fantastical that could never exist outside our pixel universe.

The Temple itself should become part of the outfit. Walk slowly through the surroundings. Find the dramatic staircase. Pose beneath the architecture. Let your avatar become part of the scenery instead of simply standing in it.

And don't underestimate the power of the entrance.

Arriving fashionably late is practically a formal tradition.

When the music fills the Temple and everyone is dressed for the occasion, give yourself permission to play the role. Dance. Flirt with the evening. Exchange mysterious glances across the room. Invent a history for the stranger standing beside you.

Maybe you've met before.

Maybe you haven't.

Maybe neither of you intends to explain.

As the formal evening eventually gives way to the After-Party, the elegance may loosen its tie a little. Formalwear has a remarkable ability to become considerably more relaxed once the official event is over.

But that's later.

For now, straighten the jacket.

Adjust the gown.

Walk through those doors.

Autumn has arrived, and it wants an entrance worthy of it.

Game On: Sunshine's Loudest Night Out

Bring Your Team Spirit. Leave Your Indoor Voice at Home.
Peep: cold drinks, hot takes, questionable predictions.

It's time to trade the garden party for bar stools, big screens and the sacred art of yelling at athletes who cannot hear you.

Sunshiner's Pub becomes our Sport Bar for an evening of games, drinks, friendly arguments and casual sporty style.

Wear your favorite team-inspired look, jersey, shorts, sneakers, baseball cap, varsity gear or whatever says I came here to watch the game and suddenly became an expert.

Pick your team.

Pick your side.

Pick your excuse for that terrible prediction.

📅 September 15, 2026 | 🕓 5:00 PM | 📍 Sunshiner's Pub | 🎧 with DJ Yezika

There are few things more American than a sports bar argument about a game nobody in the room is actually playing.

Welcome to Sunshiner's Pub.

Tonight, we're creating that wonderfully chaotic atmosphere where friends gather around the screens, drinks appear mysteriously in everyone's hands, somebody has very strong opinions about the referee, and one person insists they predicted the entire outcome despite absolutely no evidence.

This is our Sport Bar night.

The dress code is Casual Sportive, which gives you plenty of room to play. Jerseys are the obvious choice, but don't stop there. Baseball caps, athletic shorts, sneakers, varsity jackets, track pants, team colors, sporty dresses, golf looks, basketball gear, soccer-inspired outfits and classic American college-sports aesthetics can all work beautifully.

You can even invent your own team.

Sunshine Sharks?

Lagoon Legends?

Trailer Park United?

Nobody said the team had to exist.

Think about who your avatar becomes when the game starts. Are you the die-hard fan who knows every statistic? The casual spectator who only came because someone promised drinks? The person who doesn't understand the rules but has somehow become the loudest voice in the room?

Or perhaps you're the dangerously confident armchair coach.

I would've made that play.

Of course you would.

The Sport Bar is also perfect for group photos. Gather around the big screen. Pose with friends. Recreate that classic sports-bar moment where everyone is watching something intensely important while one person is looking directly at the camera.

Props can take the scene even further. Foam fingers, caps, team scarves, beer glasses, nachos, wings, pool cues, bar stools and sports memorabilia can turn a simple outfit into a complete character.

And don't forget the little details.

A jersey looks different when you've decided which team you support. A cap looks different when you've invented a reason you wear it. Even a pair of sneakers can tell part of the story.

The real entertainment, though, will be the people.

Cheer together.

Groan together.

Celebrate questionable victories.

Blame the referee.

Pretend you understand the statistics.

And if someone makes a terrible prediction, remember it forever.

Because that's what a good sports bar is really about.

Not just the game.

It's the noise, the friendships, the ridiculous arguments and the stories everyone will still be telling later.

And when the official event finishes, the After-Party can take that energy somewhere a little more relaxed. The game may be over, but nobody said the night has to be.

The scoreboard can go dark. Sunshine doesn't.
