Upcoming Events

I have added this page to my blog to inform about the upcoming events at the Sunshine Realm. So all visitors, friends and Sunshine Girls have the possibility to prepare themselves. At the bottom of this page you'll find the list of events in 2019.

The regular dates for our events with various themes are 
  • Tuesday between 5pm - 7:30 pm
  • Friday between 4pm - 6pm
  • Saturday between 4pm - 6pm
For each of the events we will have a contest with 1,000 L$ in splitmode. After the events there will be after-parties. the following list contains the next themes for the events.

Heads up! We will do additional events on Sunday at 3pm. Here comes Joaquin Gustav from Argentina and will perform live for one hour. This event will take place without contest.
 You will find our place at this landmark in the Grid of SecondLife.

Please read and respect our rules if you join our events. 

Please note. This schedule is still provisional and can be changed by us. We work still at the correct Schedule, but want share it early to give you all the chance to plan the own activities about the holiday time. We will also publish new information on a regular basis. We don’t send group notices anymore -  because honestly, nobody likes spam. Instead, we usually announce the next event right at the end of the current one. So... stick around if you don’t wanna miss out!

This blog page is the go-to place for all the juicy details, dates, and dress codes. We try to keep it updated in time - but hey, real life always comes first (you know... the number one rule of SecondLife). So sometimes, stuff happens. Deadlines crash, the blog throws a tantrum, or life throws us a curveball.

If that ever happens, don’t panic - just poke one of us. We don’t bite... unless it’s on the After Party. 😏

Grab your finest pirate attire, gather your loyal crew, and join us for an unforgettable evening where tropical beaches meet legendary adventures. The rum is flowing, the music is loud, and every wave carries another tale waiting to be told.

Not every paradise is peaceful.

Some belong to pirates.

As the afternoon sun sparkles across the turquoise waters of Sunshine Beach, a weathered galleon appears on the horizon. Its sails are torn from countless voyages, its flag dances proudly in the ocean breeze, and stories of lost treasure begin drifting across the island. Before long, the beach is alive with adventurers arriving from every corner of the grid, each convinced they're only one clue away from unimaginable riches.

But every seasoned pirate knows that treasure comes in many forms.


Some search for glittering gold buried beneath swaying palm trees. Others hunt ancient maps hidden inside forgotten bottles washed ashore. A few simply follow the sound of laughter echoing around beach campfires, knowing that the greatest discoveries are often the friendships made along the journey. Tonight, Sunshine Beach becomes an island where every guest writes their own legend.

Your outfit is your passport into the crew. Become a fearless pirate captain in a long weathered coat with polished boots and an extravagant tricorn hat. Dress as a mysterious corsair wrapped in flowing fabrics and shimmering jewelry collected from distant kingdoms. Perhaps you're the elegant governor's child who secretly joined the pirates, a daring naval officer gone wonderfully off course, a tropical island tavern keeper, or a legendary sea witch whose whispered advice is worth more than a chest of gold. Eye patches, belts, swords, parrots, treasure maps, spyglasses, ropes, tattoos, sea-worn fabrics, and sparkling jewels all help bring your character to life. In Second Life, the only limit is the horizon.




As DJ Polpeta fills the beach with music, the island takes on a life of its own. Crews gather around blazing bonfires to celebrate successful raids that may or may not have actually happened. Cannon smoke drifts lazily through the warm evening air while lanterns swing gently between towering palms. Somewhere, a pirate boasts about escaping a sea monster. Nearby, another swears they've already found the treasure... but refuses to reveal where it's buried. Whether those tales are true hardly matters. Every great pirate knows a little exaggeration is part of the adventure.

Then night falls across the lagoon.

Moonlight paints silver paths across the ocean while the pirate ship rocks gently at anchor offshore. Hidden coves become irresistible, secluded docks invite quiet conversations, and the warm tropical breeze carries just enough mystery to make every shadow worth exploring. The official festivities may conclude, but every sailor knows that the most unforgettable adventures rarely happen before midnight. The island belongs to those bold enough to keep exploring, one whispered legend at a time.

So sharpen your wit, hoist your colors high, and prepare to set sail for an evening where freedom, fantasy, and the spirit of adventure rule the waves. Whether you leave with a chest full of treasure or simply another unforgettable memory, one thing is certain...

Sunshine Street is taking a joyful detour straight into the grooviest decade of them all! Welcome to a colorful 1970s Car Wash, where muscle cars gleam beneath the summer sun, disco beats spill into the streets, and everyone is ready to get a little wet while keeping the neighborhood sparkling. Pull into town wearing your best retro style, from flared jeans and tie-dye to denim cutoffs, halter tops, jumpsuits, and oversized sunglasses. It's a celebration of classic Americana, endless summer, and carefree fun with just enough playful charm to make everyone smile.

There was a time when Saturday afternoons meant polished chrome, a bucket of soapy water, the latest hit on the radio, and absolutely nowhere else you'd rather be.

Today, that feeling comes roaring back to life.

Sunshine Street has been transformed into a vibrant slice of 1970s America. Colorful pennant banners flutter overhead, classic convertibles line the curb, and every storefront seems to echo with the sound of disco, rock, and feel-good summer anthems. Buckets, hoses, and cheerful volunteers are everywhere, turning an ordinary car wash into the happiest neighborhood gathering imaginable.

Of course, this isn't really about clean cars.


It's about slowing down long enough to enjoy summer the old-fashioned way. Friends laughing while splashing each other with water. Someone dancing with a sponge instead of a microphone. Neighbors leaning against polished fenders sharing stories that grow taller with every retelling. Sunshine Street captures that magical moment when an entire community comes together simply because it's a beautiful day to celebrate life.

Join us as Sunshine Street turns into a charming French boulevard in celebration of Bastille Day. Inspired by France's National Day and dedicated to our wonderful French friends, this evening brings together elegant cafés, lively music, warm summer lights, and the unmistakable romance of a midsummer night. Dress in your favorite French-inspired style, enjoy the atmosphere, and let every corner of the street transport you to a place where every conversation feels like the beginning of a beautiful story.

Paris leaves dreams.

Tonight, Sunshine Street borrows a little of that French magic. Cobblestone paths seem to glow beneath strings of golden lights, café tables spill onto the sidewalks, flower boxes overflow with colorful blossoms, and the gentle sound of accordion melodies drifts through the warm evening air. It isn't France... and yet, for one unforgettable summer evening, it feels wonderfully close.

Bastille Day celebrates liberty, unity, and the spirit of a nation that has inspired artists, dreamers, and romantics for generations. Here in Sunshine, we celebrate something just as meaningful: the friendships we've built across countries, languages, and cultures. Tonight is our little thank you to our French community and to everyone who believes that the best parties are the ones where everyone feels welcome.

Fashion is part of the celebration, and French style has always balanced elegance with effortless confidence.
