Upcoming Events

I have added this page to my blog to inform about the upcoming events at the Sunshine Realm. So all visitors, friends and Sunshine Girls have the possibility to prepare themselves. At the bottom of this page you'll find the list of events in 2019.

The regular dates for our events with various themes are 
  • Tuesday between 5pm - 7:30 pm
  • Friday between 4pm - 6pm
  • Saturday between 4pm - 6pm
For each of the events we will have a contest with 1,000 L$ in splitmode. After the events there will be after-parties. the following list contains the next themes for the events.

Heads up! We will do additional events on Sunday at 3pm. Here comes Joaquin Gustav from Argentina and will perform live for one hour. This event will take place without contest.
 You will find our place at this landmark in the Grid of SecondLife.

Please read and respect our rules if you join our events. 

Please note. This schedule is still provisional and can be changed by us. We work still at the correct Schedule, but want share it early to give you all the chance to plan the own activities about the holiday time. We will also publish new information on a regular basis. Here we go again – diving into the dreamy depths of the Sunshine Realm, where every event is a ticket to a world without limits, where borders dissolve and only imagination sets the rules.

We don’t send group notices anymore -  because honestly, nobody likes spam. Instead, we usually announce the next event right at the end of the current one. So... stick around if you don’t wanna miss out!

This blog page is the go-to place for all the juicy details, dates, and dress codes. We try to keep it updated in time - but hey, real life always comes first (you know... the number one rule of SecondLife). So sometimes, stuff happens. Deadlines crash, the blog throws a tantrum, or life throws us a curveball.

If that ever happens, don’t panic - just poke one of us. We don’t bite... unless it’s on the After Party. ๐Ÿ˜

The turquoise waters of Sunshine Lagoon are calling. Inspired by the tropical beauty of Roatรกn, this evening promises warm breezes, glowing sunsets, summer hits, and endless beachside energy. Slip into your favorite beachwear and join us where the sand becomes the dance floor, the lagoon becomes paradise, and every sunset photograph looks like a travel magazine cover.

Some places seem too beautiful to be real.

Roatรกn, nestled among the Caribbean treasures of Honduras, is one of those places. Crystal waters, swaying palms, colorful reefs, and sunsets painted in impossible shades of gold and coral have inspired tonight's tropical escape.

As you arrive at Sunshine Lagoon, the atmosphere immediately transports you far away from everyday worries. The shoreline glows beneath lantern light while the water reflects the last rays of a perfect summer day. The air feels warm, playful, and full of possibilities.

Beach fashion takes center stage tonight. Tropical prints, flowing sarongs, linen shirts, stylish swimsuits, oversized sun hats, barefoot elegance, and enough sunscreen jokes to last until midnight. Whether you're channeling Caribbean resort luxury or castaway chic, tonight is about embracing summer.

DJ Polpeta fills the lagoon with summer hits designed to keep hips moving and smiles wide. Friends gather around beach bars, couples stroll along the water's edge, and adventurous souls dive into the warm lagoon beneath the stars.

As sunset arrives, everything becomes magical. The sky melts into pink, orange, and purple while silhouettes dance against the horizon. Cameras appear everywhere because everyone knows this is one of those evenings worth remembering.

Later, when darkness settles over the lagoon, tiki torches flicker across the beach and conversations become softer. The official party may eventually end, but summer nights have a habit of writing their own stories.

The longest day deserves the wildest celebration
Summer's crown is forged from sunlight and fire 

Join us beneath the great dome as we celebrate Litha, the ancient Celtic festival of Midsummer. Flowers bloom, fires burn brightly, and nature stands at the height of its power. Gather with druids, fae folk, woodland wanderers, and sun worshippers as we honor the turning of the seasons with music, dancing, and midsummer magic.

Long before electric lights illuminated cities, people gathered beneath the summer sky to celebrate the longest day of the year.

Litha, the ancient Midsummer festival, honored the sun at its greatest strength. It was a time of abundance, fertility, celebration, and gratitude. Bonfires burned through the night while communities gathered to dance beneath the stars.

Tonight, Sunshine Dome becomes a sacred midsummer grove. Wildflowers decorate the pathways. Lanterns glow among ancient trees. Golden sunlight pours through the canopy while nature itself seems to join the celebration.

This theme offers endless possibilities for creativity. Arrive as a Celtic druid draped in leaves and vines. Become a woodland fae wrapped in flowers and butterflies. Wear flowing pagan robes, antler crowns, forest spirit attire, sun-inspired gowns, or mythical creatures born from midsummer folklore.

DJ Yui provides a soundtrack worthy of the season, blending mystical atmosphere with celebratory energy. Dancers circle beneath floral arches while storytellers and dreamers gather near the bonfires.

As evening approaches, the symbolism deepens. Litha reminds us that every season reaches its peak before slowly changing. Tonight is about appreciating beauty while it is here. The warmth. The friendships. The laughter. The fleeting magic of summer itself.

As twilight arrives, the dome glows with golden firelight. Shadows dance among flowers and ancient stones while midsummer wishes are whispered into the night air.

Low and slow wins the evening
Good barbecue and good jazz both know how to take their time

Deep in the Sunshine Swamp, beneath Spanish moss and glowing lanterns, an evening of smoky barbecue and smooth jazz awaits. Gather with friends beside the riverbank, enjoy the scent of slow-cooked favorites drifting through the warm summer air, and let the music carry you into a night where nobody is in a hurry and every conversation feels worth having.

The swamp has its own rhythm.

It isn't fast. It doesn't rush. It moves like the river itself, winding gently through ancient cypress trees draped in silver moss.

Tonight, that rhythm is joined by the sound of jazz.

Along the riverbank, lanterns cast warm reflections across the water. The scent of barbecue drifts through the humid evening air while friends gather around wooden tables beneath the trees. Somewhere in the distance, a saxophone begins to play.

Fashion here is comfortably Southern. Lightweight summer dresses, linen shirts, suspenders, rolled sleeves, straw hats, polished boots, and relaxed elegance all fit perfectly. Think New Orleans garden party meeting riverside cookout.

DJ Yezika fills the swamp with smooth jazz, blues, and laid-back melodies that seem made for warm evenings beside slow-moving water. The music doesn't demand attention. It invites it.

As the night unfolds, guests wander between riverside decks, dance beneath hanging lanterns, and settle into conversations that stretch longer than planned. Laughter drifts across the water while fireflies provide their own tiny light show.

Eventually the sky darkens completely. The river becomes a mirror for the stars overhead. The barbecue cools, the jazz softens, and the swamp reveals its quieter side.
