Go glamorous. Go casual. Go fierce. Go cute. Go elegant. Go completely unexpected.

Bring your favorite girlfriends, create your own style and celebrate the freedom to be exactly who you want to be.

Because there is room for every kind of woman under the Sunshine sky. 💜

There isn't just one way to be a girl.

There never was.

Girl Day at Sunshine is about celebrating the many different versions of femininity and the freedom to choose your own. Confident or shy. Glamorous or casual. Sporty or elegant. Romantic or rebellious. Quiet or loud. Serious or playful.

There is room for all of it.

And Second Life gives us a particularly wonderful way to explore that idea because an avatar can become an expression of imagination. You can change your style, your hair, your clothes, your surroundings and even the entire world around you.

So tonight, don't ask yourself what you're supposed to wear.

Ask yourself what feels like you.

Maybe that means a glamorous evening look with heels, jewelry and a hairstyle worthy of a magazine cover. Maybe it's jeans, sneakers and your favorite oversized jacket. Maybe it's a cute summer outfit, a powerful business look, a sporty style or something completely fantastical.

You can even create different versions of yourself.

The girl who walks into the room like she owns it.

The girl who laughs with her friends until midnight.

The girl who would rather climb a mountain than attend a fashion show.

The girl who loves pink.

The girl who wears black.

The girl who fixes motorcycles.

The girl who runs the company.

The girl who dances barefoot in the garden.

The girl who doesn't need anyone's permission to become exactly who she wants to be.

That's the heart of the event.

Equal rights and equal opportunities mean having the freedom to choose your own path.

And that freedom deserves to be celebrated.

Bring your girlfriends and make the event a group experience. Coordinate outfits. Create a color theme. Take photographs together. Build a little girl squad. Find a beautiful location in Sunshine and create a group portrait that you'll still smile at months later.

You can even make the outfit part of the story.

Maybe everyone wears a different interpretation of the same theme. Maybe one friend goes glamorous while another goes sporty. Maybe you create a fictional all-girl band, racing team, fashion house, detective agency or superhero squad.

Celebrate the women around you.

And perhaps most importantly, remember that being strong doesn't mean having to be serious all the time.
