One Sky, One World, One Wish for Peace
Tonight, We Turn Down the Noise
Peep: a quiet corner of Sunshine, where memories meet hope.
September 11 is a date that carries memories for many people, and tonight at Camp Sunshine we pause to remember those whose lives were changed forever.
Our Peace Event is a gathering for reflection, friendship, unity, and hope. No grand costume is required, just a casual look and an open heart. Come as you are, share the evening with friends, listen to the music, and let the peaceful surroundings of Camp Sunshine create a little room for thought.
Sometimes the most powerful statement is simply being together.

Some dates are more than dates.
September 11 is one of them.
For many people around the world, 9/11 brings back memories of a day when ordinary life changed in an instant. People remember loved ones, friends, colleagues, first responders, strangers they never met, and the many lives touched by the events that followed.
Tonight, Camp Sunshine offers a place to pause.
There is no elaborate dress code. Come casual. Wear something comfortable, something that makes you feel like yourself. Perhaps choose soft, natural colors, a simple shirt and jeans, a relaxed summer outfit, or something with a small symbol of peace. A dove, a white flower, a ribbon, a candle, a simple piece of jewelry. Sometimes the smallest details say the most.
Imagine arriving at Camp Sunshine as the evening settles around us. The lights are gentle. The familiar sounds of conversation drift through the air. Friends gather rather than strangers passing by. There is music, but there is also space between the songs for thoughts to wander.
And perhaps that is what this evening should be about.
Not only remembering what happened, but remembering what we want the world to become.
Peace is a surprisingly ambitious idea. It asks us to look beyond borders, arguments, politics, differences and old wounds. It asks us to remember that behind every headline are individual human beings with families, hopes, fears and stories.
Second Life gives us an unusual little gift here. We can create places where people who might never meet in the physical world can stand together. Different countries, different cultures, different lives, all sharing the same virtual sky.
So tonight, let's use that gift.
Take photographs. Sit with friends. Talk. Listen. Perhaps find a quiet place around Camp Sunshine and simply watch the evening change. Let the landscape become part of the memory.
There is no need for grand speeches.
A peaceful gathering can be its own message.
And when the music begins to carry us toward the evening, dance if you feel like dancing. Smile. Laugh with your friends. Enjoy being together.
Because remembering does not mean refusing to live.
It means carrying the memories with us while choosing, whenever we can, to build something better.
Tonight, Sunshine stands for peace.
