Grand Opening Mt. Conners Station Winterland

Today Odette and Phil celebrated the grand opening of their new winterland "Mt. Conners Station Winterland" and invited all their friends to an wonderful party. Also was it the "Twin Birthday". Well, who looks at the years ;). Polpeta and Phil both have a birthday on this day, so the opening was also a birthday party. And since it was also a birthday party, we were not invited to come with jacket and boots, but in formal dresses and suit. We were all curious. Even though Mondays are actually an event in the Sunshine Family, most of them accepted the invitation.

The Winterland is beautiful. The amazing ice rink, the beautiful winter pavilion with a Christmas tree, and the the winter landscape around. It was fun to look around. I found my place at the booths with candies and cake. I found my place at the booths with candies and cake. Ok, I didn't find a stand with mulled whine. But the cake looked yummy.

many of the friends came. Some could stay about the time while other could join only for a moment. 

On a free place in front of the stage the two had set up a stage. Everyone came one after the other and at 5pm it started. First there was a performance by Ricky. A singer whom I had not heard before. Then Polpeta came from a set and provided the music stream for her birthday and once again picked out the right songs for the situation. So it became a nice evening for most and for Odette and Phil certainly unforgettable. Thank you both for letting us all come and get to know your homestead.

Phil wrote in the invitation: "all I want is for you to come help us celebrate the opening of our dream". And yes, in SL may dreams come true and you can build with dreams and imaginations. Thats make SL so amazing. And connected with a group of friends dreams will come true really.

Well, we learned a lot. While the big regions can accommodate 80 and more visitors, the limit at Homesteads is only 20. And with that I did wrote also that more than 20 guests wanted to come, but couldn't all come either. It was a nice evening, which Odette and Phil had prepared well.
