Work Off that Candy

Now we celebrate already some days Halloween and have collected thereby also each quantity of sweets. Dressed up as ghosts, witches and gnomes we went through the streets and called out "Trick & Treat" again and again. There were also lots of sweets. Who doesn't know that. And of course we ate most of them and gained weight. So now it was time for a workout together. And we have the right venue and wanted to invite our friends and guests to a workout in our Sunshine Gym. Work Off that Candy was our 7th Halloween event. We asked oour guests and friends to join us in workout clothes that somehow fit to Halloween. Maybe Blood or scary faces, or only halloween patters and colors. It should be a combination of spooky and sporty. we wanted host an unique spooky sporty Halloween event.

So far the prefaces. Perhaps the subject was once again too complicated and some did not understand what we were expecting. There are also a lot of different Halloween outfits in the Marketplace, but the combination of sportswear and Halloween is more difficult to find. And probably it's not part of the "standard equipment" of avatars. And we send guests away when they don't have the right clothes. So this time you had to be more creative. And I've often written that Tuesday's events are less well attended.

So it is always unfavorable if an event topic is not immediately recognizable. With our "Blues, Boos & Brew" event we already had fewer visitors than expected, but we also had a lot of questions from the guests beforehand about what we wanted with the topic at all. Now it was also the 7th Halloween event for us, before that the Octoberfest. We also needed a break, had gone far beyond our limits and just wanted to catch our breath. So we wanted an event which somehow suited to Halloween, but we could simply use one of our venues. So we did not advertise so much before.

We started our event at 5pm and DJ Yezika and the Nightwish Family came and entertained us with a wonderful set of musik. Well, we were less than 40 guests that evening and for a long time it looked like it would be our event with the fewest visitors. Fortunately there were still some visitors in the last quarter, so that in the end there were 33 avatars together in our Sunshine Gym. But it was a good mood and even new guests. We wanted an event to get some air, and we got it. So no reason to sound the alarm. Halloween always has its own rules, they are the best events of the year, but it is also a time when there are many events.

We also had a contest again. Since our country is almost empty, unfortunately Chant Lyrics gave up after the problems with the lag here in the region, and we lost an amazing neighbor. And also our DJ neighbour is (still) gone. I still think that the last problems were caused by this. So the voting went very fast and without problems. We were lesser people as usable. There were 25 people registered in the competition and at the end 24 voted.

Of course there were some after-party feelings again. We stayed together for a few minutes and used the time to dance topless. DJ Yezika played a bit longer. At least some of us danced topless. It was a nice evening, but we were all tired or had to get up early the next day.  So we quickly disappeared into bed and it was before 8pm when the after-party was over.
