Video Game Night

Tonight was our first "Video Gamer Night" at the Sunshine Realm. Now everyone who knows us should be aware of it: We didn't want to make video games, even if they probably exist in SecondLife, too. It was the special theme for the challenge to our friends, the Sunshine Grils and all guests to find suitable outfits. Tonight we were all Nerdy and Gamers, we invited all to come to our video game night in the Sunshiner's Pub.

We said that nobody should come only worn Jeans and Shirt and to say "Yeah, I am a Gamer!" What would indicates you as a Gamer. We had really no idea what this could be, it was a new Challenge and we really were curious what all would make with this theme. 

We had everything ready. Would our friends and guests accept the theme and come by? Since we pay more attention to outfits matching the themes, it is always a risk to try out a new theme. Shortly before 5pm Yezika arrived and she brought Ruby and Vanny Nightwish as support. Right on time at 5pm the music stream from DJ Yezika started and the atmosphere was good from the beginning.

Misty finished the contestboard, reset it again and paid 1,000 L$ as jackpot. Right at the beginning Phil gave us another donation, so we could raise the jackpot to 2,000 L$ right at the beginning, and hoped to reach additional visitors. And then it quickly got fuller.

Some came as characters from video games, others as players. It was really a colorful mixture. We danced together and laughed. The time went by way too fast again, and it was getting fuller and fuller. So tonight there were 70 guests and at the end 56 were waiting in the pub for the end of the contest.

Now we have a new neighbour again. And although our landlord had Linden technicians there during the last problems, and the cause is supposed to lie in the 2 existing clubs, the 3rd club really makes sense. Somal that we have a huge techno club built up, and right behind the wall of the Sunshiner' Pub with lots of scripted effects in continuous operation. So we had to fight with so many guests and now 3 clubs again something with Lag. But after some warnings the voting went through in the planned time and at 7:30 pm 46 participants had voted.

Then we said goodbye to the guests. Before we have pointed out the events on the weekend. We will celebrate once again Oktoberfest. And tomorrow is pool party at the Club Room. After that there was half an hour after-party and Boobies time. We stayed together and danced.
