Get wild, weird, and wonderfully whimsical! On Elephant Day, we’re turning the Sunshine Meadow into a playground of paws, claws, horns, hooves—and everything in between. Whether it meows, purrs, roars, squeaks or snorts, if it’s your companion, we want to meet it! Bring your pets, wear your spirit animal, or become one yourself. It’s sunshine, silliness, and just the right amount of sexy fur. 🐾💫

Sometimes we need a break from skin and stilettos – and what better day to let the wild out than Elephant Day? In the Sunshine Realm, we take “Bring Your Pet” literally – and then make it sexy, surreal, and spectacular.

The meadows will bloom into a parade of paws, hooves, feathers and fur. Avatars ride in on elegant mesh horses, others lead panthers, phoenixes, raccoons in tutus, or neon space-pugs. Plush dragons purr in laps. Some arrive wrapped in scales, feathers, or fluff – not their pets, but themselves. After all, it’s SecondLife – you can be the pet. A glittery bunny with a secret. A wolf in latex. A golden retriever in bondage gear (don’t judge).

Outfit-wise, go wild. Literally. Wear your favorite animal gear, body tattoos, furry bits, tails, ears, wings – or full creature AVs. Want to strut in as a rainbow-feathered parrot queen? Yes. A cyber-cat in LEDs? Also yes. A baby elephant with a monocle? Extra yes. Or maybe you're going for that tasteful half-fae, half-fawn fantasy with tribal jewelry and nothing but moss.

And if you’re into mesh pets: this is their time to shine. Whether you're showing off a sleek stallion, a mythical griffin, a loyal fox, or that weirdly sexy alien cat you bought at 3am last month, this is the perfect spotlight. Take some photos, make some memories, and don't forget to give them snacks.

The soundtrack? DJ Yezika will deliver untamed, flirty jungle beats, tribal grooves, playful electro, and unexpected animalistic breaks that will have you dancing with your hooves off.

And when the sun sets and the meadow glows under moonlight... let’s just say the leashes might come off.
