Halloween 2018 (updated at 29th)
We have started planning for Halloween 2018 for the Sunshine Cove Group. As in previous years, we're planning some events, and we've already started with our New Moon Party last week.

We have enough stuff in the Sunshine family, and could just repeat some of the Halloween events. We've already started to bring back some of the previous venues lately. So we reopened the Beach Club, the "Trails End Music Hall" and last but not least "The Brewery". It's the combination of old and new that makes SL so wonderful.
Now we have more space and prims this year, and certainly more possibilities, so we took a look around the Sunshine Realm and discussed which events we want to organize with for our guests this year. And of course which place in our land fits best to the planned event. Now the Sunshine Realm has grown in the last months and now consists of many places, so you would think we had the choice. Beside the Tennis Court, the "Sunshine Cove Beach Club" and the "Sunshiner's Pub" on the ground floor, there is the "Sunshine Garden" and the "Trails End Music Hall" on one level, and the "Sunshine Garage" and "The Brewery" on the other. So where are we going to celebrate with you?

Halloween is also a time of surprises. That's why we'll be expanding this post regularly, adding new information, and giving everyone the opportunity to schedule dates and find matching costumes. So, mark this page and check back from time to time to see if there's anything new to read here.
Monsters Prom Date 2017
After last year, the standard for our events is very high. We hope that we will be able to do satisfy to this.
But now to the facts, which are already known.
The following list will shows some old and some new themes. With the Zombie Apocalypse we continue a successful event from last year, but we will build a new set for it. Maybe a run-down junkyard, besieged by zombies. Will we be able to protect the area for the guests, or will the zombies get a feast?
Sunshine Realm Events: Tuesday 23rd of October - Zombie Apocalypse 2018

In our first event the undead are on their way again. Actually we wanted to go to the Sunshine Garage to celebrate, but we already lost the upper skybox and with this the downway to our Garage to the zombies. We could only defend a small area at the edge of the Skybox. And since we didn't want to allow a few undead to prevent our event, we'll go there with you. A run-down junkyard is our last retreat and the place for our Halloween Event at 23th of October.

The enchanted cemetery in the ghost town
Halloween is getting closer every day, and the protective wall between our world and the beyond of the shadow creatures is getting thinner and thinner. Already on Tuesday, October 23rd, the end of the world seemed to have come, but we were able to expel the Zombies from our world together.
But it was only a short moment to take a deep breath and be happy about this. On Wednesday the rift between the afterlife and our world opened again across our country. Suddenly it got darker, the sky turned red and while the water in the fountain turned red with blood, the street in front of our popular Sunshiner's Pub ripped open. An old haunted cemetery from the world beyond appeared and around this some buildings which lost many years ago. The way to the pub now leads through the afterlife.
We're looking forward to Friday Fright Night. It is the night when the witches and warlocks, vampires and werewolves, the wicked fairies and dragons reign in the Sunshine Realm. When undead and skeletons rise from their graves to invade humans, and it seems as if God has left our world.
Nobody could know it before. But this event went to a difficult expirience. The real fright wasn't halloween and the guests, our sim's performance was after a restart in the morning wide below average. The land lord and manager weren't about hours accessible. Read more in the review of the event.

The Scared Warehouse
After our opening on Tuesday, when the zombies and undead overran our upper skybox and we had to retreat to the run-down car graveyard, we thought we pushed the undead back into their world. Yesterday we saw that the ground in the Sunshine Realm had been torn open, and a cemetery had emerged from the other side, as well as some long lost buildings. The witches and warlocks, ghosts and ghouls, undead and fairies, scarecrows and monsters came out of the ruptured rift into our world and wandered through the Sunshine Realm. The Sunshine Realm belonged to the creatures from the world of shadows.
What is happening today? Actually we wanted to celebrate comfortably in the Warehouse. No, it's not Warehouse 13. We already used this building in the old Sunsine Cove Sim. Unfortunately the zombies crawled out of their holes unnoticed and are already besieging the festival places again. We were able to barricade the warehouse at the last moment, freed the way with the bulldozer and blocked the entrance with containers. So the way leads between the zombies, and last through the container into the warehouse.
Today the topic is a bit more open. We expect zombies and zombie hunters again. But also the witches and warlocks, fairies, vampires and werewolves, but also characters from horror movies like clowns, scarecrows and superheroes like Catwoman or Harley Quinn are welcome. We have 4 hours of fun again.
Even though we try and work hard to make our event a high quality event, sometimes we are simply helpless. After the problems with our Sim, and with it also the landlord, became worse, we had increasing performance problems, the whole thing escalated this weekend. In the past we have always found solutions, up to and including a manually voted contest last Friday. But Saturday was then a new dimension. We had sporadic contact with our landlord, as you can read in the blog "A really bad Weekend in SL". After consultation with the landlord we then interrupted an event, so that a new start can take place. But this did not happen, or only 90 minutes later. Thus the complete preparation which we put into this evening, inclusive new decoration, which we bought, the time which we put into the special topic, outfits which we and our guests together looked for and bought, was in vain. But this is the necessary cycle of SecondLife. If things of the Creator are not bought any more, then these will not develop any more new things.
Room Club Events: Wednesday 28th of October - Halloween 2018

This evening is the first event in the Room Club. Valantine created a Skybox for the Halloween Events here. Its a visit worse, and we will celebrate a calm evening to finish the weekend. After a Set of DJ Candy between 1and 3pm will follow Joaquin as life singer and entertain us with a fitting set of music between 3 and 4pm. The Secret Throne Room
The conclusion of our Halloween events at the Sunshine Realm is the "Bloody Formal Ball". We women love prom balls, the Sunshine Family is not an exception. And mixing it all with Halloween is a great thing. This will be the highlight of our Halloween season 2018. On Tuesday evening we invite everyone to dance in our enchanted ballroom. DJ Yezika and the Nightwishes will entertain us, and the Sunshine Girls will provide the perfect setting for a wonderful event where dreams and fantasies come true.

And also a ball should not be missing Halloween. I think we have found the right place for a Bloody Halloween Ball.
