Champagne and Mistletoe Formal

Champagne and Mistletoe Formal

We celebrated our Christmas Party for the Sunshine Realm together with The ROOM Club at 23th of December. We started with a very colorful program at 1pm slt. Some of our friends and guests joined us for a very special event "Champagne & Mistletoe" in formal attire at the Christmas Market.

We were curious because we made this event at a Sunday and this isn't a regular time for the Sunshine Realm. But the worries before were unnecessary then the first guests came and it was a successful evening.

We started at 1pm with Stinna. She entertained us with an amazing live set. It was Stinna's first gig with us. It's always exciting whether everything is really prepared and will work.

So there were still some problems to solve, but Stinna inspired us all with a wonderful set. So from the first moment we were trapped in the spirit of Christmas time.

At 2pm Valantine was supposed to take over as DJ, but she was stuck in the return traffic. It's just SecondLife, Misty and I tried to find a replacement, and then DJ Morgana Malibu Nσvα™ took over the set at short notice and entertained us with a mix of Christmas music, Christmas rock music and fun songs. Thanks Morgana for supporting us without preparation time.

In the time of the first two blocks we also had the first contest with 1,000 L$ in split mode. After it started slowly in the beginning, there were 20 participants in the end, as we started with the vote.

Then we could welcome Joaquin Gustav in the 3pm for the first time in the Sunshine Realm. He has been singing regularly in the Room Club for several months now, accompanied by his ravishing guitar playing. So of course we were very happy to have him for our Christmas party. We started the 2nd contest with 1,000 L$ at 3pm too.

At 4pm took DJ Rosie the stream for the After-Party. Travi and Skyee donated 200 L$ to increase the contest, we continued the contest in the last hour with 1,200 L$. Rosie entertained us again with something rockier tunes. We all had fun and there were 35 guests. Unfortunately some of our friends were missing, but especially before Christmas it is often difficult to be in SecondLife for such a long time.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this evening unforgettable. We were nervous, 2 sets, the changes. It all had to be coordinated. But we were able to solve the problems ourselves quickly.

You'll find some pictures from the preparation of the Christmas Marker in this Google Images Album. And You'll find pictures about the event in this Album later.
