Trailer Park Dance

Today we had planned a special event and were very excited. We wanted to organize a Southern Rock Event in a trailer park. After the success with the Farm-Aid Festival last Friday and Saturday on the new redesigned festival place, we wanted to do another event here quickly and were looking for a matching theme. There is already a special atmosphere on the farm with the festival place between the wheat fields and our two Farm-Aid days were a great success. So we already planned to build a trailer park here at the end of the festival last weekend. But also the success of the "Amphitrite and Poseidon" event yesterday increased the expectations. We hoped that our trailer park would not fall into clichés and wanted an authentic place between simplicity and poverty on the one hand, and a joy of life and team spirit of a community on the other. I hope we succeeded and our guests would have as much fun as we had when we built this new place.

A few days ago we talked in the group about new events. The idea of an "underwater event" came up. Even though we didn't have the time to build a suitable underwater world yet, we still wanted to use the idea. And so the event "Amphitrite and Poseidon" was born. Since we were not sure how many guests would come with a costume suitable for the merfolk, we gave the guests the opportunity to attend this event in formal evening dress in addition to a matching costume. And we chose the Sunshine Lagoon as the location for the event. This is our new beach club, and we all love this special place, which is probably unique for a club and not "off the shelf". We always strive to build very individual and unique venues. We were really curious to see how many guests would come and if guests would come with appropriate costumes. 

And we were looking forward to the event while we put together outfits for ourselves.

Belated Memorial Day

We have celebrated Memorial Day over and over again in the past years and had some nice events. So in 2018 we were in the old skybox and in 2019 we had a party in the Street. Also this year the Memorial Day was on our calendar of events. And again we chose and decorated the street in front of our Sunshiner Pub. 

This year the 25th of May is Memorial Day in the USA. We are belated but we haven't events at mondays.  But like each year will we celebrated this important day. This year is maybe the most crazy and cruel year for most of us. And a lot of this soldiers died in a world war and guaranteed the security of all free and democratic states during the Cold War, it should be reason enough to celebrate this weekend with our friends from America. And pray together that we come back into a more save world.

Sunshine Realm's Farm Aid 2nd Day

And today was the second day of our Farm-Aid Festivals at the Sunshine Realm. Already yesterday we opened the new venue and had a nice evening. Today it should continue and we were curious how many visitors would come. Everything was prepared and also DJ Yui came almost on time. She had to take some pictures quickly, but her stream was already running.

We are always looking for new ideas for our events and then build new venues for them. In doing so, we also make use of real events and want to pass on this message and ideas. So also this time. We like the music, but the idea is also important. 

The Farm-Aid Festival has been held in the USA for many years and was held very spontaneously to support small family farms. And especially with the current situation and the Corona crisis it becomes clear again how important they are for the supply of our countries. But also how difficult it was before to survive in international competition with ever new requirements and regulations. And working on a farm, little vacation and working from sunrise to sunset.

After the parties at the weekend we were looking forward to a quiet evening in the Sunshiner's Pub. We quickly had a topic, it should be comfortable. So we met for the event "Wine and cool Jazz". And we all were looking forward to a nice evening, DJ Yezika and the Nightwish family should entertain us.

Spain stands for temperament and glittering nightlife. And so today we have invited to our first "Barcelona Night". For this, we chose the Burlesque Palace, even if it does not seem to be very Spanish. But also a ballroom fits and red, not only the bulls get wild. So everything was ready for the first time that we invited our guests to a Barcelona Night.

Are you ready for visiting the new Drive-In Theater in the Sunshine Realm? The Sunshine Realm stands for changing places and a variety of different events. Today we created a new place for only one night. The new Sunshine Realm Drive-In Theater. We invited our guests and friends to come to us and to enjoy 2 hours with us and a lot friendly people. Dj Polpeta spinned wonderful movie music and we all enjoyed a breath-taken place.

Sporting events have a long tradition and we are always trying new event formats. So now we have our first golf event. As usual it is the setting for an event, the clothing. We will not play golf, but we know that this is possible in SL.

We will celebrate Mother's Day. And what do we all love? It's the formal ballroom nights. And with the Sunshine Temple, we have a special place for a beautiful night. Come and join us in celebrating Mother's Day  .

After redesigning the beach in April for the coming summer, we opened the new Sunshine Lagoon on May 1st with the event "Welcome May". Today we are already back again and will celebrate a beach festival, a luau. So decorate up for a Hawaiian festival and come to our beach.
