I had promised to continue writing soon and to show the many different facets of our "Sunshine Realm" with the pictures of one month at a time. After I have presented the months of March and April in the first two parts, it is now the turn of May. In the northern hemisphere spring is in full swing in May and we are looking forward to the upcoming summer. This is also reflected in the events. And of course, fewer visitors come during this time.

Nevertheless, this was also a very nice month with some new events. It is always important to respect and introduce different cultures and religions, but also the environment is an important topic. It's also nice that Misty and I think and feel very similar in many things. So the "Sunshine Realm" also reflects this. Everything is built on love.

We are a little late, but we had more important dates for events. Nevertheless, today we want to catch up on the anniversary of the moon landing. Come to our Sunshine Skylab Station and celebrate the successful Apollo mission with the moon landing.

First we wanted make a Beach event, Jamaica Beach and Reggae. But we decided to run a special event. Share the Mate. Mate is a traditional South American caffeine-rich infused drink. It is made by soaking dried leaves of the holly species Ilex paraguariensis in hot water and is served with a metal straw in a container typically made from a calabash gourd.

Mate has a strong cultural significance both in terms of national identity as well as in social terms. Drinking mate is a common social practice in all of the territory of Paraguay and parts of Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, southern Chile, and eastern Bolivia. Argentina has celebrated National Mate Day every 30 November since 2015.

This blog post is a special. If you've been waiting for the month of May, you'll have to wait a little longer. I'll catch up soon, I promise.

During the conversations of the last days our special weeks, or in the case of Halloween a whole month, came up again and again. And so I would like to dedicate this post to the last Halloween period. Already in the previous year, we had dedicated an entire month just to this topic. In 2020, October again became a bewitched and enchanted month.

I would like to try something new here. A review with pictures. Such memories are important. Over the past few weeks, there's been a lot of talk about what the "Sunshine Realm" actually is. Is it really, as some think, really just a business case? But for me it is first and foremost family, a place we have generated for friends to meet and have fun. And the Sunshine Realm and the Sunshine Family are the same, one wouldn't exist without the other. And we don't earn anything from it, so yes it would be a bad business case. It makes me sad that friends, for whom we build and organize all this, also only think about something like this. And turn their backs on us. 

Updated 8/28/2021: If then the people who say to my face the Sunshine Realm is just a business case, a club like others, and also the invitations to our private land, the "Moonlight Pier", which we understand as "parties with friends", are worth nothing, just also just a business case, build their own meeting place and use the Sunshine Family as a backdrop, then that sucks.  When they even push events that were requested in the Sunshine Realm to have de crowd, that were planned by us, into their "alternative" land, it's even worse. The Sunshine Realm is being belittled to further their own ambitions. This makes me infinitely sad, because it is precisely friends who say such things. I had it written in my profile for a long time, "Only friends can hurt us!" And yes, I am sad and disappointed. 

But, everyone has to make their own judgment there.
