I would like to try something new here. A review with pictures. Such memories are important. Over the past few weeks, there's been a lot of talk about what the "Sunshine Realm" actually is. Is it really, as some think, really just a business case? But for me it is first and foremost family, a place we have generated for friends to meet and have fun. And the Sunshine Realm and the Sunshine Family are the same, one wouldn't exist without the other. And we don't earn anything from it, so yes it would be a bad business case. It makes me sad that friends, for whom we build and organize all this, also only think about something like this. And turn their backs on us.

Updated 8/28/2021: If then the people who say to my face the Sunshine Realm is just a business case, a club like others, and also the invitations to our private land, the "Moonlight Pier", which we understand as "parties with friends", are worth nothing, just also just a business case, build their own meeting place and use the Sunshine Family as a backdrop, then that sucks. When they even push events that were requested in the Sunshine Realm to have de crowd, that were planned by us, into their "alternative" land, it's even worse. The Sunshine Realm is being belittled to further their own ambitions. This makes me infinitely sad, because it is precisely friends who say such things. I had it written in my profile for a long time, "Only friends can hurt us!" And yes, I am sad and disappointed.

But, everyone has to make their own judgment there.

But, of course, we also have Sunshine Girls who just come for tips and don't get involved or put in minimal effort. But, those are not that hard to spot, and no one has to tip those Sunshine Girls then. Even though we always have tipjars, no one is pressured to tip. And no one has to tip everyone the same. We are happy about the friends who come. Not about potential tipjars. Does that make us a typical club? Or is the Sunshine Family just more? And most of the Sunshine Girl are loyal and part of the Family. And also, most of our other guests come because we have contests, but our themes also force these guests to think and kind of adapt to the theme. That is in this intensity and variety certainly something unique in SL. And makes the "Sunshine Realm" something special.

How can I show what "Sunshine Realm" means?

I thought about taking a few months and show a picture of me for each event. This are the many different facets of the "Sunshine Realm", the weekly challenges that we all call for. An event starts well in advance, when our friends and we start thinking about the theme. Sometimes Google helps to find ideas, often we visit other Sims and look for ideas. Some of us do photo sessions and dive into the theme.

I decided to start with March, and often pictures say more than any words could express. I will add this for April through July then later, and maybe it will become a new category on my blog.
