What meant "Sunshine Realm"?

This blog post is a special. If you've been waiting for the month of May, you'll have to wait a little longer. I'll catch up soon, I promise.

During the conversations of the last days our special weeks, or in the case of Halloween a whole month, came up again and again. And so I would like to dedicate this post to the last Halloween period. Already in the previous year, we had dedicated an entire month just to this topic. In 2020, October again became a bewitched and enchanted month.

But it wouldn't be the "Sunshine Realm" if we had made one month just "Halloween" now. There were 12 very different events, from a Halloween student party to zombies to Steam Punk and Witch Dance. And enchanted pirates and ghouls weren't missing either, and there was a horror movie event again this year. To do this, we created an enchanted, run-down outdoor movie theater for the horror movie event and redesigned and decorated existing venues. Our ballroom became a Steam Punk place, and the street was torn up and an enchanted graveyard had appeared. So this month we made up 10 different venues, some of them elaborate.

This was a marathon for us, but also a challenge for our friends. Because they needed matching outfits again. And I think, or better, I hope, most of them enjoyed this month as much as we did. And here like often again my Thank to Bic who support us with textures and wonderful banners, to help us to make our Sunshine Realm so unique. The Sunshine Realm is in the variety of events, the loyalty of the crowd who accept the challenge every week and with the outfits make the venues complete, helping us to take everyone into a virtual world of dreams and fantasies, perhaps unique in SecondLife. We thank all our friends who stand by us, help us. 

Unfortunately, memories of beautiful hours together are fading, at least for some. The Sunshine Family is something very special. It is a wonderful crowd that accompanies each other through good and bad times and dives into this virtual world together. We also appear together at other events and help others implement their own ideas. And we come from many different countries and cultures. Some have known each other for many years, others have only recently been accepted into this family. And they do so warmly and without reservation.
