On Star Trek Day, the Sunshine Realm launches into hyperspace with a celebration that spans galaxies. The Skylab opens its portals to captains, cadets, aliens, and cosmic adventurers. Whether you beam in as a Starfleet officer, a Klingon warrior, or some dazzling species of your own imagination - this is your chance to explore strange new pleasures, seek out new connections, and boldly go where no avatar has gone before.

The universe has always inspired us to dream beyond borders, beyond limits, beyond even our own planet. On Star Trek Day, we honor that spirit in the most Sunshine Realm way possible -  by turning our Skylab into a pulsing starship of fantasy. Imagine stepping into glowing corridors, blinking consoles, and the panoramic view of endless stars just outside the windows. This is not just an event - it’s a voyage.

But the voyage is incomplete without you. Who will you be? A Starfleet captain in crisp uniform, a mischievous ensign already sneaking to the bar, a Vulcan with arched brows and even sharper wit? Or maybe you’ll break canon entirely, arriving as a radiant alien draped in neon skins and impossible anatomy. Remember, in SecondLife you aren’t bound by physics or makeup kits - your alien self can shimmer, pulse, or carry three extra arms if you wish.

Costumes can be classic, campy, or creative. Starfleet red, gold, and blue will always be iconic, but so are the playful twists: a miniskirt uniform reimagined with latex, a cybernetic implant glowing in sync with the music, or a whole alien race you just invented.

DJ Yezika will spin beats that make warp drives rumble, while the dance floor becomes a transporter pad, phasing avatars in and out. Around you, holographic planets shimmer, and sometimes you might swear the stars themselves are dancing too.

The spirit of Star Trek has always been about unity, exploration, and embracing the infinite possibilities of life. Tonight, we embody that - not only in costumes and décor, but in the connections we form and the stories we weave. And after official duty hours? Let’s just say the captain’s quarters are always open.
