PRIDE in Sunshine Realm

I am what I am! The next two days are our PRIDE days in Sunshine Realm. We follow the theme month in SecondLife and the LGBT movement in the real world. We are committed to ensuring that every person, regardless of gender, race and orientation, can be who they want to be. And this in every country of the world and of course also in our common virtual home SecondLife. And every adult should be allowed to love the adult person he loves.

I heard about the playback band "Nylonia Kinkster" and that they are giving a Metallica concert today in the German club "Black Pearl". So far Black Pearl was for me a beach where people also have fun as adults, it is not really prude there. But it was less of a place for concerts or a club. So I was really curious to drop by. On the one hand to see this other side of the "Black Pearl", on the other hand I was of course also very curious about the "Nylonia Kinkster".

15 years SecondLife

SecondLife's 15th Anniversary at Sunshine Realm

We look back to the 6/24/2003. The Linden Company started a new Project with the name "SecondLife" and gave millions people the chance to meet others without fear and borders. Yes, its really true! Tomorrow is the 15th anniversary of SecondLife. A reason for us to have a wonderful party tonight. Than, this SecondLife is our virtual home!!!

Sunshine Cove Beach Club Revival

Some ask again and again why our groups is named Sunshine. There is our staff as "Sunshine Girls" and the guests for the contest board "Sunshine Rockers". The roots of our club goes much more back, but the Sunshine Cove Beach Club was our home last year. So are we very happy to let this unforgetable Club revived for some weeks in our Sunshine Realm.

This weekend we did open the new Sunshine Summerland as part of our Sunshine Realm. Just in time for the opening of the Soccer World Cup at 6/14/2018 we were on a new festival ground this weekend, a soccer field with goals, bleachers, advertising panels and lights. I wrote a blogpost about the preparations. 

We started the 1st event at friday 6/15/2018 at 4pm and had a great time together with our friends and guests. DJ Valantine entertained us with an amazing set of good music for this special festival place.

Sunshine Summerland

Sunshine Summerland 

This weekend we will open the new Sunshine Sommerland as Part of the Sunshine Realm. We rented the neighbouring lot (Sunshine Realm 2) and redesigned the floor area. The street and the Sunshiner's Pub are moved to the other side, behind it a harbour reminiscent of a small French harbour. This frees up the old area for new ideas. The landing bridges connect both plots on the lake side, here is also the common landing point for both plots.

Today we look back at the first 6 months here in the land of the Sunshine Family. It was an interesting time, and I am glad that Misty is back as Coowner of the land since some months. Its so much more fun to do things together with friends, and with Misty is a very experienced partner at my side. I am glad to have the chance to learn more from her. That's how "Angy's homeland 4.0" became the name "Sunshine Garage" some weeks ago.

Together we have decided now to rename our home sim to "Sunshine Realm" some days before. We want describe the whole sim with all places  with this new name. Aside of our well-known Garage are the Pub and the Garden unique and famous event places in Secondlife now. And we change from week to week between this places.

We also had some special events in our own theme weeks. Some of these have developed into today's central locations. You will find INTAN Dance balls at each place in the sim. Aside the couple dance hud with more as 130 dances are the female hud (red) with more nearly 500 dances and the male hud with more as 30 dances. So its fun to come and relax at the Sunshine places. Take you the time to explore the sim, you will find teleporter which bring you to the different levels.
