Our first Arabian Night

Now it was quiet here for a few days and I didn't write a new blog post. During this time I was very busy to assembling the Harem of the Sunshine Group in my Sim. It was an interesting time with some very good conversations, visits to other beautiful Sims and the search for suitable background music for the time when there is no DJ here. After all, the Sim should enchant the senses for a whole week. Yesterday we opened the Harem and with a traffic of 2000 without advertising it was a really good start, many friends came and spent relaxing time here. Now we looking forward for this week.

Special "One Week in a Harem - Arabian Nights"

In the last blog I wrote already about the idea of Arabian nights as a special theme for one week in our clubs. The idea didn't only help me to create a new amazing outfit, a new place in a SkyOrb took quickly envolved. So we are ready now with everything, we will organize our event "One week in a harem - Arabian Nights" next week (1/29-2/04/2017). So you should find quickly a new outfit and makes a notice in your scheduler to come to us next week.

One Night in a Harem 

Since saturday my thoughts working at the idea to make a new special week for the Sunshine Cove Group. I was overexcited from the last party in The Haunted Garage with so many guests and after waking up too early I was lying in bed thinking about last night. A friend Wabun and I danced in silk both, whoever looks closer will recognize it on one of the pictures. A quick idea, we both like the Creator Caverna Obscura. Only the garage wasn't the place for those clothes. 

After the success of the "Game of Thones" week it was obvious to think about a new special week with a suitable theme, maybe it could be "One Week in Harem" or "Arabian Nights".

Last week I was in "Godelin & Sendora"again. After visiting this sim several times last year, I wanted to see what has changed. This sim with the 2 different parts is really always worth a longer trip. And if you read this blog, you will find that there are actually at least three, or better four different parts in this sim. And sadly is this blog very long too. But i would show you many wonderful views of this amazing world in SecondLife.

Actually, I didn't want to write today. And certainly not a new report about a party at my garage. But because many people keep saying that SecondLife is dying and there are no more people coming together, today a report about a party.

Sunshine Party Weekend

Hee, thanks God, its friday. We started in the Sunshine Party Weekend here in SecondLife. 

Like usual started the first event in "The Room Club" of DJ Valantine with the "Maximum Rock n Roll" at Noon SLT. We moved at 4pm SLT to the Haunted Garage and did start our "Rock the Garage"- Event for this weekend. DJ Valantine played hornest Rock and Metal Music for us, the Sunshine Girls entertained the guests and the INTAN Balls here are filled with a lot high-quality dances. Guests may also just sit at the bar and talked to friends or the Sunshine Girls.

I've read about the Bento horses in Galas before. I was curious, but never got around to trying it out. Today Lexx invited me to go for a ride with him in Calas. 

After landing in Glanduin, I rezzed one of the horses for testing and followed the instructions so that I soon found myself on the back of the horse. The slogan "The greatest happiness on earth is sitting in the saddle of a horse" seems to be very true, self in a virtual world like SecondLife. 

I have a dream

Today is a holiday in the USA. It is not one of the big ones and many may not even notice it. But, It's a special day and it should be celebrated all over the world. The Americans celebrate today the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. on 01/15. 

I started this blog to write about SecondLife. But his dreams have changed the world. So it is also worthwhile to write today about this and remember him. I'll write this contribution today, as racism, xenophobia and nationalism are returning all over the world at the time. It doesn't matter whether Trump or Putin, the German AFD or Le Pen in France, or the Brexit in Great Britain. They all stir up fears, incite us, and isolate people. How can a healthy person rush so contemptuously over "dirty-hole states" and create the impression that every people of another race or citizen from another state could be to blame for the misery in their own country? And what is going on in the heads of the extreme terrorists that they lay bombs, drive into peaceful people with cars or enslave and rape women? That they think God might want that.

Everyone who knows me knows how much I love shopping. So was the selection of a suitable outfit a funny side issue for the preparations, next to building of the throne room. And I needed outfits for three different events. A lot of fun ;-).

The 2nd event of our "Game of Thrones" - Special Week was the "Rock On The Iron Throne" today. We had an evening with different rock and metal music played by our stunning DJ Valantine. This event started right after the Maximum Rock Party in the Room Club. 

My Excursion to "The Little Branch"

Via a picture at Flickr I became aware of this sim and made a spontaneous visit. It is actually an InWorld shop for mesh products from the landscape design sector. So says the description on the page. Rave of Thrones

We started the GoT special week with the "Rave of Thrones" event today and I opened the new created skybox for the publicity. I was totally nervous after the days of preparation. How many people would come? Would the guests like the new place? We want introduce our guests to the world of Game Of Throne with the medieval vibe in the throne room of the seven kingdoms. And it was fantastic, over 50 people followed us in this world.

Excursion in the Wastelands

My first excursion in the Sim "The Junkyard-The trash of a dead civilization in The Wastelands". I looked for Places to take photos and spent 3 hours here finally, and shot a lot pictures. The Wasteland sim is a roleplay sim, but you can explore them without problems. If you like post apocalyptic places, you will like the place.

GoT Special Week for the Sunshine Cove Group

The Game of Thrones Special week is the first event Highlight of the Sunshine Cove Group in the Year 2018. We built a special place for this purpose, a throne room with the iron throne, banners of the houses, dragons and light effects. We hope that the place will like our guest and help to build the vibe for such event week, Come to us and take a trip to the continents of Westeros and Essos. Three events with medieval style and special themes.

Underground Rock at the Haunted Garage

After celebrating the Christmas and New Year's Eve parties in our winterland, we returned to the underground car park today. And again a lot of people followed our invitation and filled the parking deck for an underground rock party. DJ Valantine played honest Rock Music and we opend the event year 2018 with this party.
