Salsa Night

Salsa Night at Sunshiner's Pub

We called our guests to a Salsa Night today in the Sunshiner's Pub. How did we get the idea? If you look in the overview for national days in the USA you will find this. The 29th of January is National Corn Chip Day. How can you celebrate a Corn Chip Day in SecondLife. The best way is corn chip topped with salsa or a little cheese. Ok, with Salsa. And we have with our DJ Yezika a hot Latina. And there is the Sunshiner's Pub in our Sim. Why not make a Salsa Night in the Sunshiner's? And we had an amazing night together with our guests and friends.

We decorated the Sunshiner's to a Salsa Bar and were curious how our guests would accept the event. I had some personal problems to solve in RL, and between its looked like I couldn't come to the event this time. But I had made it and came shortly before. All was prepared by Misty and i could only wait that the event would starting. Then the usual tension set in. How many guests would come? Would they wear suitable costumes and support the mood and the theme? Would most of them have fun? Only in one thing were we really sure this time. With our Latina DJ Yezika we had the best for this evening.

And it was wonderful. Everyone seemed to have just been waiting for this event. The combination of the club as a salsa bar, the salsa music and the matching dresses somehow carried everyone away. So we had a lot of fun right from the start. Not only I could escape into this wonderful SecondLife, and forget the oppressive problems for 2 hours. It was nice to dance, be it alone, in a group or as a couple.

The events on Tuesday are usually not so crowded, mostly there are about 30 people. But we also try to improve that. And today it really seems to have worked out. At the end there were almost 50 people, and at the top we had 43 people in Sunshiner's. So we increased the contest, which we had opened as usual with 1,000 L$, once again to 1,250 L$. We were really happy, because we could welcome some new guests again. There were also some new members in the group.

Even though it was late for most of us we stayed together for a few minutes for the after-party. Of course we danced again, partly in our pyjamas, with bare tits or sexy lingerie. It is always a special time, after a successful party, together with friends. We all agreed, the combination of this event with the salsa music was something special.

We also exchanged ideas about future events. How can you combine events with a certain music? We talked about the 20's, the 50's with Rock&Roll or the 60's, maybe a special disco event for Bic. In any case, jazz is a good idea. Let's see what we can do about it in the next few weeks. But now we are looking forward to the coming weekend and the Super Bowl.

Once again our thanks to Yezika who entertained us so wonderfully with Ruby and Vanny and took each of us to Latin America for 2.5 hours of relaxation and fun.

You will find later pictures of this event in this Google Images Album.
