Actually, you always say construction workers following sexy women with their gazes. But let's be honest, a construction worker and craftsman can also be erotic for a woman. We invited out guests and friends with a call to all construction workers of the Sunshiner Group through the "union" to a meeting at 5pm. Perhaps this was a mistake, as most of our members and friends are not organised in the "trade union". Anyway, this event fell short of our expectations. But it's really always hard to predict, maybe many were on holiday during Easter and Passover. Otherwise we had done everything right, the Sunshiner's Pub was prepared and looked good, outside the heavy construction machines had driven up and we had the scaffolding on the opposite side of the road.
The first guests and Sunshine Girls also came here. We already spent the hour before the event in the pub and talked and laughed a lot. Of course all the construction workers were there and it looked like this event was going to be special. It was a successful event, but with fewer guests than expected.
At 5pm Yezika and Vanny came and took over the entertainment. Also Vanny came as a sexy construction worker. The contest was opened with 1,000 L$, and also the first guests came. We were 15 guests in the first hour, and it was a fun crowd.
Phil was gonna donate L$1,000 to the contest to get more guests. We hesitated, didn't want to reward the guests for coming more and more at the last minute to take part in the contest. We are happy about the guests, but they should come to our event and not 5 minutes before 12. More and more often we are asked when the contest is and when the login closes. And we are asked to open the login again. Since we had the donation and it was still 1.5 hours time, we decided to play with stricter rules. We were 20 persons as we increased the constest.
We announced the increase and also shared it in group chat. But this is related to the announcement that we will only leave the board open for 20 minutes and then close it for new logins. Then it would take another hour for the contest to end. In this message we also wrote that we will no longer support this behavior in the future. We announce when an event starts with a contest, and everyone is free to come. There were also 2 guests in time before we locked the board.
But we had a lot of fun, even if it wasn't that crowded. That didn't break the mood. Maybe even the opposite. When we closed the board we were 23 people. More than 10 came later, some asked when the contest would open and why they can't log in anymore. My answer was simple: "Tough luck, read the news in the group, really come to the events, and don't optimize your "walks" through the clubs with contests to get as much as possible". Probably they were in another club with a contest that had less jackpots than every participant got today. Get used to it, visit our events, we'll tell you when they start. Or stay away, but we don't support your "optimizations" anymore.
So there were only 10 participants in the contest. Everyone could vote without any problems. That was the positive side effect, I could look forward to the voting calmly and we did not have to expect any problems. We have a new neighbour who is currently building, and Lyrics by Chant has grown again just in time for winter in the southern hemisphere, and is building a lot right now. But with only 10 participants all this would not matter. And right, the voting was finished after 5 minutes, and there was no lag at all. Two of the participants were further in the optimization mode, had their avatars probably only parked without really being there. So it looked as if only 8 votes would come. But again 5 minutes before 12, only 4 minutes before 7:30 pm these two votes came. And since both voted for the other, who knows what that means. Maybe we can think of something here as well. Anyway, everyone voted in the end, and thus probably achieved the highest single win in a long time.
Of course we did an after-party again and had our fun. So there was a lot to see again. Almost everyone followed our theme, and there was a lot more emotet again. A sign that the corresponding Sunshine Girls were really there, and not like some unimaginative come to us and are at the same time with another avatar in another club. We really have a good community, a family. And I am sure that this will always prevail in the end, and we can look forward to many beautiful events in the future.
