GoT Special

We built our Throne Room with the Iron Throne already last year and celebrated one week a special with 3 wonderful events with the Game of Thrones Theme. W had this idea in the Christmas Week 2017. It was a wonderful week, and after the restart of today's Sunshine Realm our first big event week. Somehow it was the beginning of the Special Events, which we have organized again and again since then. We started with Rave of Thrones, continued with Rock on the Iron Throne and finihed the week with the formal Dragon Ball.

Now winter is arriving, the final season of Game of Thrones has started, and fans can hardly wait how it will end. I can only promising, her will not so many persons dying like in the TV serie.

We invited our friends and guests for this special event and were curious how all would solve the new challenge. And we weren't disappointed this time either. Not only our friends had prepared themselves, also many guests came with adequate outfits for this event. Whenever we think we might expect too much from our guests with one topic, we are positively surprised. It really is always a special moment when an event idea is brought to life.

We had decided to redesign the site of our Viking event "The Strong Girls of Hedeby" for this event. In order to have more space we removed the big hall in the centre of the village and the farmhouse with the handicraft places and cows. Instead, a castle ruin formed the end of the courtyard, and a stable covered the old church ruins of the adjacent "Realm of Shades". We removed the small Haven with the Wiking Longship and the Fisherman House.

Both places are connected by a path through a forest. After we had brought the contest board and the DJ equipment to the castle courtyard, everything was ready for this event.

As usual we met at 4pm, because we were at the event in the Club Room before. Already then we changed our clothes and saw some wonderful clothes. It could only make us curious about the event. When we came DJ Yuimetal was already there and the first guests were waiting for us. So it became fast before on the castle yard our castle Winterfell. The winter could come.

And of course we had dragons there, too. It's SecondLife, the world made of dreams and fantasies. There it cannot be missing at the kites. While one was circling and watching over the castle courtyard, the other stormed through a gap in the wall. So it could only be a wonderful event.

So it quickly became fuller. And our friends surprised us with wonderful costumes. Almost everyone had thought a lot about it and prepared themselves accordingly. It was really wonderful. And also most of the guests had costumes matching the theme. Very quickly there were more than 30 people on our fairground.

As always we had started a contest with 1,000 L$ in splitmode. In the end we had 40 visitors at our event, and when it came to voting for the contest, 35 people were there. And we could also welcome a new member to our group. DJ Yuimetal entertained us very well with a mix of more hard tunes to this theme.

There were 27 people logged into the contest. Like last time we paid more attention to the clothes and if the appearance of the person fit to the theme. After the admonishing words not to click on the board more than once for a vote and to strengthen the always existing lag even more, we opened the board for the vote. And 24 people voted, nobody of them clicked often, and we could finish the voting fast. So we could say Goodbye to everyone and wish them a good weekend before we determined the winners and paid out the prize money.

Of course there was an after-party again. DJ Polpeta took over the entertainment for this one, and also she had put together a rather harder mix of metal and rock. We were curious about what our friends had put on under their clothes, and soon most of them took off their heavy clothes and sexy lingerie came out. We stayed together with some guests for another hour and danced and laughed. We could look back on a very successful event.

And it was a wonderful week to look back on. The "Construction Workers" event on Tuesday, our joint "Weekend Workout" on Friday and now our "Game of Thrones" special. We started this week with 839 members, and even though it seemed empty at some of the events, there were more real people there. So we ended this week with 848 members and continued the positive trend. Even though it's always up and down here, we all know that the number of groups is limited. But we are reaching more and more people with our group and our events, and hope for many new members in May. But before that there will be the "Walburgisnacht" next Tuesday and we will return to this platform with our friends and guests. We will go to celebrate together in the church ruins of the "Realm of Shades" and look forward to many witches and sorcerers, devils and ghosts coming to dance in May on our "Blocksberg".
