Mardi Gras

Today it was time again, Mardi Gras 2019. And of course there was a party at the Sunshine Realm. For many of us the street in front of the Sunshiner' Pub belongs to the Sunshine Realm and nobody can imagine it without. We built it as our "French Quarter" for Mardi Gras 2018, and wanted to tear it away afterwards. At that time even without the pub in the background, this one was only added for Saint Patrick. But first of all it comes differently than secondly you think it before. Today the street with the Sunshiner's Pub is an integral part of the Sunshine Realm. And the place where we celebrated Mardi Gras today.

We built something for that and extended the street. So there are some (filler) buildings on the right side to separate the winterland from the festival place. Than we decorated the street in the typical colors, and all was ready for our New Orleans Carnival. At last we looked for Costumes. Then we could only wait and hope that many guests would come again.

We met us at 5pm and DJ Yezika took over the evening entertainment with Ruby. Very quickly the guests arrived and it became fuller on our street. It was a very colorful evening, not only because our guests, friends and we worn colorful costumes. We danced, laughted and had a lot fun together. 

We had 57 visitors and friends there that night. Some had to leave us before, but there were 50 together in the Sim at the end. So we could be happy this. On Tuesday there are mostly less people, and especially on Fat Tuesday there are a lot of people bound in the RL.

As usual we filled our contestboard with 1,000 L$ at the beginning. And we started the contest in splitmode. After some time Odette and Phil donated 1,000 L$ again, so that in the end 2,000 L$ had to be distributed again. 

Of course some new guests came again. Of the guests, 33 registered for the contest and finally voted.

Even if it was late, and some were tired, we stayed together a bit after the official part. Yezika played a bit longer and we had fun together. So there was naked skin again and some of us exchanged our costumes for lingerie and stockings.
