A Night in the Roman Colosseum

Once again it was time for a formal night at the Sunshine Realm. When we did our "Venice at Night", we also decided to do a Formal Night at least once a month. We all love festive dresses and men in pretty suits and the special atmosphere of such formal night. Who went to our Temple on our Mount Olymp again this time, it is really a special place and offers enough space for everyone. And also this night was amazing. 

I started my invitation with the text "Once upon a time, a long time ago. When Rome still had Caesar, and senators, warriors and gladiators. And there were slaves from all over the world and proud Roman women spun intrigues. We will stay in Italy again. After our night in Venice we want to celebrate today "A Night in a Roman Colosseum". So besides classic formal clothes you can of course also wear a Roman toga. But its a formal events at the roots of the roman history and old buildings. We are looking forward to seeing you all."  So I probably caused some confusion, but that's exciting at times and wasn't unintentional either.

We met just before 4pm and it was supposed to be a formal night, so it would have been easy for many. DJ Yuimetal was already there and we started in time. But the name of the event and the place where it took place also stimulated the imagination, and we deliberately played with them. So some came as slaves or gladiators and were really good to look at. We were also a bit nervous, after the rather moderate number of visitors last week. Normally the formal events are going particularly well, but we had also caused some confusion.

Then unfortunately there was some unrest during the event and we had to sort things out instead of taking care of the guests and inviting them. Nevertheless there were soon 40 guests. And since we had of course opened a contest again, we increased the jackpot to 1,250 L$. We got a donation from Phil to increase the jackpot again, and now the board showed the winning amount of 3,000 L$. After all, the sum tripled over the event. But we have extended the time to log in a bit, and also started with the voting later. 

So there were again almost 60 visitors to this event, and there were 52 together in our Sim at the end. So it was a well attended event. But that doesn't change the fact that September fell behind July and August. Why? We don't know. There can be many reasons. But we had fun with each of our events, and so again today. The voting went well and 36 people voted.

So the last event in September was over. We said goodbye to all the guests and again pointed out the upcoming events. We are looking forward to the coming weekend with our Oktoberfest events, but before we meet on Tuesday for our first "Video Gamer Night" at Sunshiner's Pub. Then it was time for the after-party again. DJ Polpeta had prepared herself for it and her stream took care of the entertainment for the next 2 hours. We moved closer together and changed our clothes to lingerie again, and some of us danced topless again. Even though I've written it many times before, it's always a special moment. And you can really stop by. We don't bite, it's that you want it. And you don't have to pay admission either, our events are free. After 2 hours everyone goes to bed or other Sims. 

It was another nice weekend at the Sunshine Realm and there will surely be many memories. Some of the nice moments I captured again in pictures and put them together in a Google Images Album.
