Pastel Formal

Today was the day. We celebrated the climax of our 1,000 Sunshine Rocker member week with a big formal "Pastel Formal" event. Of course we chose the Sunshine Temple again and decorated it according to the theme. And we were all looking forward to this evening and especially the events in our Sunshine Temple are always magical. It was also time for a night in formal attire and of course for shopping. I know, women and shopping. But honestly men, you like us in lovely gowns as well. That's fun, but pastel is usually the color for bridesmaids.  And they shouldn't steal the bride's thunder. So I was really happy to have found a very nice dress after some searching at Utopia.

The anticipation was very high. Everything was prepared and also today the first guests came already before. And also DJ YuiMetal was there one hour before and began 30 minutes before the planned start with her set. She had arranged a wonderful set with romantic music. It was really very felicitous for a wonderful dance night. So we were really ready for a special and lovely night and also our first friends arrived already before 4pm.

But then it was time. It was 4pm and we started the contest as promised with 2,000 L$ in the jackpot. And it got full faster. It is the special magic of the Sunshine Temple and the formal events, which were well attended in the past. So it was quickly clear that we would get a full sim again today and it should again be one of the best visited events in SecondLife in this night. And the offside of the mainland and the sponsored events. Thanks Sunshiners, you are fantastic to make our Sim so unique and awesome. 

We had to admonish some guests and ask them to change their outfit. And some do not learn it, and run just with the full events in groups, push and then look for a place and step on the feet of others. But we were able to clear all this up.

But we have made really good progress there. And since there are always new guests who like our concept of theme events and who take part in the Challenge, I'm very optimistic. Anyway, today we had 90 visitors again and 73 were together in our Sunshine Temple. So we were close to the sim border again, because there were also some people in neighboring Sims tonight. And this has shown itself again in a fantastic traffic value. With our 2 hours event we reached again more than 10,000, exactly 10,291. Even if we don't expect that all events will be so good now, but the first 2 weeks in the new year were very good in our Sunshine Realm.

Like in the last days we had a little bit more problems with the performance. So we were nervous before the voting. So times almost 70 people were registered in the contest, using the board as 12 sides. This would take longer with the voting anyway and if then some are unreasonable and overload the board, it could become critical. We were constantly checking the latency of the board to decide when to start voting. But then it went very calm and well, our guests were reasonable again and held back and we could collect most of the votes up to 6pm. But then we waited another 10 minutes for safety reasons and gave the board an extra round to be sure that every participant could vote.

At 6pm DJ Polpeta took over the 2nd part of the evening and we started the after party. In the end 65 people had voted and we paid out the jackpot without any problems. After saying goodbye to the guests and paying out the jackpot we moved closer together and started stripping. DJ Polpeta put together an awesome set too and entertained us very well. We danced topless again and had a lot of fun together.  This was also about leaves and the first formal party that was celebrated. And about snakes, or was something else meant? It was again a wonderful After-Party with which we ended a special evening.

Maybe you'd like to come by. During the events we have dress rules about our themes, but for the After-Party everything is allowed. Dressed or naked, or maybe just topless or in sexy lingerie. You can show yourself from your sexiest and hottest side. And we are especially happy about the men who participate. It's just fun and a great time we can spend together. And, I repeat, there is no entrance fee. 

And because we had the 1,000 Members week a view at the group board today. We finished this week with 1,029 members. We all hope that we can progress the develepment in the future. And here again a "Thank you" to all members in the Sunshine Rocker Group.
