World Ice Hockey Night

World Ice Hockey Night

Sport plays a role in many of our events. And we are in winter. That's why we wanted to try something new and organized a new event. Our first "World Ice Hockey Night" at Sunshine Realm. And how could it be different, we chose the big frozen pond for it. So we invited our guests and asked them to find something about ice hockey, or at least about winter sports. And to come to our winterland.

Unfortunately there were some discussions and maybe we will have a little less guests because of that. But our events are unique and every visitor should be able to feel that, but also become part of this imagination and fantasy.

We started punctually at 4pm. We missed our DJ, but DJ Yuimetal had sent us a message and the stream from her was running. So we could switch him on and open the event. And 5 minutes later DJ Yuimetal could come himself and had solved her technical problems. It was quite impressive what some people did with this topic.

It quickly became fuller on the pond and in the end there were a total of 60 guests at our event. Of these 48 were together on the pond, luckily it is so frozen that it held us all. So it was a well attended evening and we had a lot of fun.

With so many guests there were of course more than 30 registered for the contest. So we increased the jackpot from 1,000 to 1,250 L$. And the voting went evenly and everybody could vote within the planned time. So in the end there were 41 votes cast. We said goodbye to the guests and looked forward to the best part of the evening.

DJ Polpeta had taken over the entertainment again and provided us with her stream in the sim. Again with an atmospheric set. And also today the beginning of the after party was the starting signal for some of us to strip. And the Sunshine Girls are already something special in SecondLife. There were as again many sexy pixels to see and we all had fun and danced together.

But also the after-party was over at some point and at 7:45pm everything dissolved in the snow. No, we finished the party. Most of us disappeared into bed, some moved on. A nice evening was over.

Also today there is a Google Images album with lots of pictures to browse through. Just have a look. And also the reference to the blog page "Upcoming Events" should not be missing today.
