Erntedankfest

The harvest festival has many names and exists in most countries. In Germany we say "Erntedankfest" and in France its the "jour d'action de grâce". We celebrated it as harvest festival  some weeks before and invited all to come as native or settler  and we will be celebrating Thanksgiving soon, but before that we wanted go back to the origin of the festival and wanted to celebrate our Thanksgiving on the meadow in front of the Trails End Music Hall Club, our beautiful Camp Sunshine. 

And because we wanted a different event we chosen a special theme for this: natural spirits, faries, gnome, elfs, .... How could we better say Thank for a good harvest as to say thank to the nature and the spirits.

DJ Yezika and Nightwishes entertained us and we got in the mood together for the highlight of the week, Thanksgiving in North America. And we will celebrate this holiday with our american friends a bit belated at friday. But before this were we together in the Camp Sunshine and looked forward a lot colored and different outfits for this special theme.

Well, Tuesdays are always different. You can never really predict how many guests will come. But DJ Yezika is a guarantee for good entertainment. So we were very much looking forward to this evening. And most of them came with breathtaking outfits. There are no limits to the fantasy with such a topic. And that's what makes SecondLife so unique. I used my fairy outfit. It is beautiful, but unfortunately there are not many events where you can wear it. So I used the chance.

Also today more guests came, than the preceding weeks would have let hope. In the evening there were almost 60 visitors, and at the end of the contest we were 45 people in our Camp Sunshine. We had a lot of fun together. We had increased the jackpot to 1,250 L$, because again more than 30 people were registered. Also today the voting worked very well. It is noticeable that the region is still half empty. At 7:30pm we paid the winnings and said goodbye to our guests.

Then it was time for the after-party again. Even if we only stay together for a short time on Tuesday. There were again some sexy Sunshine Girls with their bright tits to see and we had fun. It was a nice introduction for our Thanksgiving event on Friday.

And there was another highlight. That evening we reached the 1,000 mark for the first time. Time to make a picture ;-). Even though we won't keep this number, and it will probably go down again, as many will be cleaning up the groups for the many Thanksgiving events. Some of our visitors are only there for the contest and change the groups with their ALTs to take part in as many events as possible. But we have reached this limit for the first time, and when we are permanently above this mark in December, we will have a special party for it.
