Harvest Festival

Its should be an easy event today. It's not Thanksgiving yet, but we wanted to welcome the fall time and say "thank you" as in many places of the world for last summer and hopefully a rich harvest. Therefore we celebrated today our "Harvest Festival". We prepared the meadow in front of Trails End Music Hall for this, our Camp Sunshine.

We all living together in only one world and we share it, so should we celebrate together the beautiful nature and the one world we share together. And because we didn't want come just as farmers, and somehow we were already close to Thanksgiving, we thought that the theme for the costumes today is "Indians and Pilgrims".  Normally should be this not to difficult. But i am honest, i haven't thought before about some guests

But I'm honest, because I didn't think before that shopping and preparing the costumes was too much for some guests. And that they want to take part in the contest, but without preparation. And in my invitation to choose a suitable outfit, or to leave the Sim, an attack on their freedom of expression and whatever they would see, and to get involved in endless, sometimes unsightly discussions. But that's another topic, and I took the opportunity to write a blog post right away and write some more about our events and contests in general. So it should also be over here at this point.

We met after the pool party in the Club Room on the meadow. We could start on time. DJ Valantine already had problems with the stream in the Club Room, and had his hands full making sure everything was working properly. But as always she had put together a good set and entertained us very well. So it quickly got fuller. And most of them came in wonderful outfits. It was colorful on our meadow, and not only because of the colorful leaves in autumn.

We knew that after the Halloween time it would be a bit quieter and that it would be very difficult to get many guests. We also neglected our announcements a bit, because we also need a breather. But in the end there were almost 50 guests, and 35 were together on the meadow. Since we unfortunately sent some guests home again, it could have been 40 today. But the mood at the events is more important to us than people in jeans and shirts on an "Indian and Pilgrims" event.

Of course we had another contest and started it with a jackpot of 1,000 L$. But it stayed that way today. And thanks to the current situation the voting went off without any problems and everyone could vote. At the end 24 people voted.

So we could say goodbye to the guests on time and go to the after-party. Of course there was more naked skin and lingerie to see and we laughed a lot. DJ Valantine was tired, the problems with the stream and that for 2 events. So Polpeta provided her stream spontaneously and entertained us for another hour. Then we all disappeared into bed or have and distributed in Secondlife.
