80s Party

This time it was difficult to find topics. Actually we wanted to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall for one week. But how can you do that with 3 events? What should our guests and friends wear for an event if you say, its Berlin Wall Fall? How can you keep the tension for so long? And perhaps most people don't associate so much with this special day for Germany. But its a great step for the whole world, so we wanted celebrated it too for a week. Well, actually there are now even 4 events, because for many Berliners the American help after the 2nd World War still means a lot. And maybe without the deployment of the many American soldiers in Germany, the airlift that my adopted country Berlin was supplied with and many other moments the later peaceful revolution would not have been possible. And self people in East germany make it with this peaceful revolution, they listened the words of Kennedy and Reagan very attentive. That is why Veteran Day also belongs in this series. 

But how do we start? The fall of the Berlin Wall was 30 years ago. And that's why we start this journey through time and had tonight a 80s party again, which should take us all back to this time as the Wall did fall. And because we have the most event this week in the Street in front of the Sunshiner's Pub and haven't sadly the Brandenburg Gate as hotspot, decided we to went in the Sunshiner's Pub again like to our first 80s party 3 month before. . 

Since Misty has no time for the next two weeks, I was glad that Bic helped again. He picked out textures and prepared the pub for an 80s party. Thank you Bic. It's really nice to have friends, it's not just Bic, many in the Sunshine family come and help. And maybe even more so when it's a little more difficult. We are really grateful that we all found each other. And then there's the magic cube, the Delorian in front of the door. Fortunately the light was still installed, so the pub was quickly finished.

I built a wall on the Street. So you could already take the time today to look around. I made 7 boards with pictures that deal with the history of the Berlin Wall and added some facts. So on the way to Sunshiner's Pub our own little "Mauermuseum" was created. Maybe some of the guests take the chance and inform themselves, and then use the internet to find more. About the miracle that many of my fellow countrymen had not thought possible themselves. Well, the club was finished, and as always we could only wait.

Now the Tuesdays are a bit worse attended, and since Misty still isn't back, some of the Sunshine Girls didn't come to the last events either. So we couldn't expect so much today. But I already wrote it several times, that doesn't change the mood and the cohesion of the Sunshine Family. We would definitely spend a good evening together. And DJ Yezika is now really always good, and finds the music suitable to the topics. So we could be happy.

Then it was finally time. The first guests were already there when Ruby and Yezika came. And then it started already. The music, the decorated pub. We started our time travel successfully. And also Vanny followed a little later, so that the Nightwishes were together. We were happy about every guest. Some regular guests were missing, but one of the neighbours stopped by. And also other new friends were there again. We were really happy about that. 

We hadn't expected many guests, and since some of the Sunshine Girls weren't there and Misty was missing as well, we were glad that we had 35 guests and 24 together in the pub. We were better than at the "Construction Worker Event" and some other Tuesdays. It was beautiful to look at, and many of the guests had found really stunning outfits and accompanied us on our time travel.

And we also had another contest. Fewer visitors means a higher share without the increase. The present guests were happy, and all of the 16 participants voted at the end. So we could finish the voting on time and send our guests home. 

Of course we invited all of them for the upcoming events. Our "Day after" event on Friday and the official party for the 9th of November and the fall of the wall on Saturday. Then Wolfie Starfire will visit us for the first time and offer a live performance. She is framed by our DJs Yuimetal and Polpeta. Therefore this event starts one hour earlier than usual and maybe we will experience some surprises and hope to welcome new guests. Both events are in the Street in front of the Sunshiner's Pub with the concrete Wall to remember the Berlin Wall.

After the party is before our After-Party. Even if it's not that long on Tuesday, we had a wonderful after-party. And the 80s were already a crazy time. So there were other nudes to see besides the topless girls. It was a nice evening, with nice conversations and lots of laughter. But also first-class conversations about the German division and the fall of the wall. When I made people curious to learn more about it it was also good. Around 8:30 pm the last ones said goodbye.
