Christmas story time by the campfire

This was our 3rd pre-Christmas event. At first we opened the Christmas Market last Saturday with "Winter Wonderland" and celebrated together with our friends in our Christmas decorated Sunshiner's Pub on Tuesday at the event "Hang your stockings by the fire". Now we opened finally  the new Winterland 2019/2020 today. And a lot people came to to us on the frozen pond to have 2.5 hours fun with the Sunshine Family.

The new Winterland is really amazing. Its a  beautiful world built with Ice and snow. Our fairy tales forest with deers, birds, wolfes and a bear. So you should wear warm clothes if you visiting it, its cold! And our friends and guests worn warm winter clothes like hats, boots and mittens. But we wrote in the invitation "Please no Santa outfits and elves and others Santa's Helper. We have a matching event at the 21th and don't want to make it too easy". 

And we built a new landing point, where we once again pointed out that our events always have a theme and that we expect to be dressed accordingly. This may reduce the number of visitors further, but it makes our events very special. And if word of this gets around, maybe more people will come. And with the changing themes, perhaps also very different ones. 

So came our guests with winter clothes and some of them came with ice skates too, it's a frozen pond. It was really a wonderful mood. Since Valantine is still missing, DJ Polpeta helped out again and took over her set. Our thoughts and wishes were with Valantine and we hope she is doing well. If you may read this Valantine, we miss you and we hope you will be back soon. 

We met shortly before 4pm and enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere in the new winterland. Right on time at 4pm we opened the main event and DJ Polpeta recorded her music stream in the sim. It was really wonderful on our frozen pond. And guests came quickly. And everybody came with fitting clothes. So it was a really successful event, even if it was not as crowded as in November.

But in the end there were more than 50 visitors and of these 40 were together on the pond. So we also increased the jackpot to 1,250 L$. And even though we had a little bit more problems with the lag again in the last days, the voting went without any problems worth mentioning. In the end 32 people voted. So we said goodbye to our guests on time at 6pm and finished the event. Of course we determined the winners before and payed out the jackpot.

Of course we stayed together. DJ Polpeta continued to entertain us and it was time for the after-party again. And that makes SecondLife so wonderful. Which we would never do in real life, but here it is possible. We stripped and danced topless. It was a wonderful evening that ended so well. Around 8pm we went to bed and dreamed on.
