As is the tradition of Sunshine Realm; we celebrate each month with a formal dance. Since this month is December and the start of the Christmas season I suspect several Formal dances this month. The first formal dance of December was today at our Sunshine Temple. We called this Formal dance "The Penguin Formal" What did that mean? Penguins are black and white they are also creatures of the snow and ice so our guests were invited to use that as inspiration to picking a formal attire. We couldn't wait to see our friends and guests tonight for this December Formal extravaganza. This was our 2nd winter event this season.

Now formal events at the Sunshine Realm are something special and we are all very much looking forward to it. And the Sunshine Temple is really something very special. It was a lot of fun to put together an outfit. It's not just a ball gown and shoes, jewellery, matching hair and make-up. You can also change a tattoo in SecondLife. It was a lot of fun for all of us and we were curious what the others might have chosen. 

In the beginning Odette and Phil also came, and they both came in shiny white outfits. Odette with a gorgeous white dress and Phil in the matching suit. We had both attended a late Thanksgiving dinner with the live performance of Sultry Sonata Masterson on Monday in their Winterland. Today they really looked like this one. 

Since DJ Yuimetal was already there, and the first Sunshine Girls and guests had already arrived, we started the event a few minutes before 4pm. And also in the next minutes many guests came. Some had read the announcements and prepared themselves. Now a guest in a blue jeans in the middle of the company in black and white evening dress is really a disturber, or a woman with a bright yellow dress. But also a woman in black leather fetish clothing disturbs in such a frame. So there have been some discussions. I had already written about the discussions and problems in my blog post "some about our events" in November. Unfortunately this also belongs to the role as hostess, and also today some guests had to be asked to leave the Sim during the event. Now some may find this rude and think we are not tolerant enough. But is it polite not to come to such an event with his requested evening attire?

But even if we had expelled some guests of the Sim, and some even got a 24-hour forced break, it got fuller and fuller. It was again this mixture, the formal theme and the Sunshine Temple. So today almost 80 guests came out and 67 were together on Mount Olympus shortly before the end of the event and danced. And due to our interventions during the event everyone was dressed in black and white evening dress. It was really a beautiful scenery. 

We opened the event with a jackpot of L$1,000. But such events always have their own dynamics. This special atmosphere does not only inspire us. And again and again our friends help us with anonymous or open donations and increase the jackpot. And just when we wanted to increase the jackpot, because more than 30 people were registered, the first donation reached us. We got L$1,000 and doubled the jackpot. But that wasn't the end of it. A short time later we got another 1,000 L$ donated for the contest. At the end it was about 3,000 L$ which were awarded in split mode. 

But it caused us also ewtas worries. We have new neighbours, it is weekend in Secondlife. For whatever reason, the Sim was more Laggy today. So at the beginning we had problems with the INTAN- Coupledance- System again. Only after I took it back into my inventory, rezzed it and reset it again, the couples could dance together. 

So we could only hope and appeal to the guests to vote sensibly. Especially when the response time of the board gets too long, some react with a salvo of mouse clicks on the contest board and create the right one. So we asked all guests to remain calm and promised to wait until everyone had voted. Then it started at 5:45 pm with the vote. And everyone kept to it and voted quickly, so we were only 5 minutes late. And were able to pay out the winners.

Then we finished the main event and said goodbye to the guests who wanted to leave us. We invited everyone for the upcoming event on Tuesday, when it's called "A Night in the Playboy Mansion" and becomes especially erotic and sexy. We will all meet there in our Burlesque Palace. We paid out the winnings and then the official part of the event and the first week of December was over.

But if you visit our events or follow this bloo, you also know, then it's really off to a good start. That's when it's called: "After-Party". DJ Polpeta had taken over the entertainment with atmospheric music and even if it got empty quickly, the temperature in the temple seemed to rise.

We changed our clothes to sexy lingerie. Certainly a foretaste of Tuesday. Some also showed the luscious tits. We all laughed a lot and danced together. And Lorica also offered us girls something to look at when he danced naked with Fiona.

We stayed together almost 2 hours and danced. It was a wonderful evening and most of us will remember it for a long time. Again the Sunshine Temple showed its special charm and it was simply beautiful. We have already celebrated some unforgettable parties here on our mountain Olympus. And we will come back again this year. When our big Christmas gala will be called "Gold and Silver" and we think about some surprises.

That is with so many people in the Sim sometimes, but today it was also more than usual laggy. Nevertheless some nice snapshots were taken today.
