Winter Wonderland

Now it was finally time and we went with our friends and guests to the new Winterland 2019 / 2020. Our first Advent Event and all of us were very happy. We were at the Christmas market and celebrated together. There is a special atmosphere at our Christmas market. Since DJ Yuimetal was busy with a project of their Baby Metal tribute band, Polpeta and Yuimetal exchanged their shifts, and DJ Polpeta took over the entertainment for the main part of the evening event.

We were there just before 4pm. The first visitors were already there when we arrived and it quickly got crowded on the square in front of our new winter stage. Of course we were curious after the problems during yesterday's "Nightmare before Christmas" event how many guests would come. Some had announced to leave our group. On the other hand it was a rather easy topic this time.

But there were fewer guests than expected. Maybe it was too cold for some and they preferred another place. Or they have no warm winter clothes in SL. At the end there were almost 50 visitors. And 37 were also together on the street and celebrated with us the opening of this year's Christmas market.

It is not the first Christmas market. I wrote about this in "Opening Winterland". And it reminds me again and again of 2016 and why I had built the first Christmas market. It was spontaneous and I thanked my friends for their help and support. Misty, Celi and Bic were also there today. Unfortunately we all missed Valantine and we all hope that she is all right and will be back soon. But many old and new friends were there and so it was a wonderful evening on the Street. DJ Polpeta put together a good set with different Christmas Music. 

Of course we organized a contest again. It remained with the jackpot of 1,000 L$ and also the voting ran without problems. So at the end 26 participants voted and we could pay out the winnings. After that we said goodbye to our guests. 

Then it was time for the After-Party. DJ Yuimetal was there and took over the entertainment. She had changed her program a bit and was as always a good entertainer for us. Although we were in winter, of course we changed our warm clothes for lingerie and some of us danced topless again. So it got suddenly hotter in the Sunshine Realm and probably nobody froze. We are still 2 hours together before we disappeared into the warm bed and who knows what everyone dreamed.
