Ice Fishing

It's winter time in the the USA and most of Europe. Time to bundle up and stay indoors. Unless you're a member of the Sunshine Realm Group; instead of being indoors; we went go down to Sunshine Beach for a little ice fishing. We lighted a fire on the beach to keep us warm while we dance on the beach. We asked our guest, "If you're in the Polar Bear club feel free to come in a Bikini with a hat and boots. Otherwise bundle up in winter clothing and bring your fishing pole and come down to Sunshine Caribbean beach to celebrate with us." And many people should follow our invitation to this special event at the beach.

We were all looking forward to this event. It is not everyday to combine boots and mittens with bikini or lingerie. Unfortunately Valantine is cancelled this week. We all hope she is ok and nothing happened. So DJ Polpeta took over the entertainment at short notice. Thanks Polpeta for covering Valantine. Since the event had been cancelled in the Club Room before, we came to our Caribbean beach a bit earlier. I had quickly distributed some stools and fishing rods before it started at 4pm. There were some ice floes on the sea and the tropical volcano is exchanged for a lighthouse in the snow for the winter.

And then it quickly became fuller on our beach. DJ Polpeta had put together a good set, even if she had to improvise. And we had more than 60 visitors and so we could double the result of our Reggae Night on Tuesday. And almost 50 were also together on the beach and in the club. So it was a wonderful evening. 

Since more than 30 participants were registered in the contest, we raised the jackpot to 1,250 L$. The voting then worked very well, everything went very smoothly and everyone voted sensibly and didn't torture the board with clicks. So we could say goodbye at 6pm and send everyone home. Our first winter event was over.

Of course we also had an after-party and many of us danced topless. DJ Polpeta continued playing without interruption and we had a really nice evening. And we were all looking forward to tomorrow, when there will be another formal night.
