Visiting the Conners

Visiting Odette and Phil Conners Thanksgiving Event

We were all very happy when we received an invitation from Odette and Phil to a Thanksgiving concert and dinner. Both had lovingly prepared it, and many of our friends came to the Conner Winterland which we already got to know a few weeks ago. 

All were asked to choose a formal outfit to match the occasion, certainly something that many of us enjoyed. The men could say "suit with tie", for us women it was a wardrobe adventure. Who doesn't know that when we stand helplessly in front of the wardrobe and put one dress after the other on the bed and discard the idea. 

The short black, or the red dress? Until we have found the suitable one and have dressed and made up ourselves appropriately to this. It was the same today and can take a little longer. Well, today I decided for a red dress.

I was particularly pleased that Sultry Sonata Masterson should perform. Whenever it is possible, I try to visit her performances. That's not always easy with the obligations around the Sunshine Realm and the time I want to have for my friends. And now Odette and Phil had both connected. 

I could spend time with my friends and experience Sultry live again.Sultry's concert was wonderful. Again she enchanted us with her voice and the happy laughter. The hour flew by and we met for a photo session behind the ice rink before it was time for dinner. The picture was taken quickly and we went to the dinner table.

That was also very lovingly prepared. Well, the food itself is always a bit complicated in SL. But it's interesting what developers come up with and how creative a dinner buffet can be in SL. We sat together for another hour and talked a lot. Unfortunately some had to leave, but we were happy that Sultry stayed with us. It is always interesting to learn something about other traditions. Some of us also thanked, and it was a nice evening with friends. Thank you so much Odette and Phil to organize this for us.
