Santa's Helper

So far we have started the Christmas season rather cautiously. First we opened the Christmas market, then our new winterland and finally we went to the fireplace to hang up our stockings in the Sunshiner's Pub. But it was always rather festive. But the Advent season is a colourful and exciting time and that's why our event today it's called "Santa's Helper Party" today.  Now it was finally time to put out special Xmas Clothes. Our guests were invited to come as Santa or one of his little Helper to the Sunshine Realm. We went to the Christmas Market again and celebrated colorful that Christmas so close.

Of course our guests could also come as Santa Claus himself, but there is one thing we didn't want to see today. Everyday clothes, even if they were winter clothes. I was already at our Christmas market in the Street before and checked if everything was prepared. And also DJ YuiMetal was already there and also she looked simply gorgeous today. 

So everything was ready. We had used a new landmark for the first time today, an invisible tunnel that could only be left at the front sides, because special textures indicate that this area can only be entered with suitable clothing during an event. Maybe it would help, that some would not come, and others would choose the right clothes in time.

Odette had her 2nd RezDay today. We decorated the gazebo specially for a small celebration. Besides the tables with cake and champagne there were also small tables for the guests. The Gazebo, our winter stage, is really a good place for a small private party. And we all could congratulate Odette on her 2nd RezDay. Also last year we celebrated her RezDay with us. At that time Odette was still relatively new. In the last year she has grown to real and has contributed with her creative and sometimes daring outfits to the success of the Sunshine Family. Happy Rezday Odette, we are glad that you are one of us.

Then it was time. At 4pm Yuimetal opened the set and also the guests came fast. Of course Odette and Phil arrived early, and it was nice to see how they enjoyed the decorated gazebo. But also many others came early and it quickly got crowded on the Street in front of the Sunshiner's Pub. Yuimetal had put together a really good set again and entertained us very well. So the time passed by in no time.

And our new landing point worked really well. Some guests left the sim and came back shortly after with a really matching outfit. You could see how some stand there and think, but not entered the area. Maybe we lost some guests that way, but it was good for the atmosphere at our Christmas market. We were really almost all Santas's helpers. And an authentic and colorful event is certainly nicer than if we have many visitors, they don't give a damn about our topics. Anyway, for me it was a much more relaxing evening without constant discussions about matching outfits. 

But there were also so many guests. All in all there were 60 visitors that evening, and just before the end of the contest almost 50 were together in front of the Gazebo and danced. We had raised the jackpot during the event to 1,500 L$. But then we got a donation from "Santa" and could double the jackpot. In the end it was 3,000 L$. But for this we overdid 20 minutes to give the guests the opportunity to invite friends. But then the voting started and everything went very smoothly. In only 15 minutes we were able to "collect" the 36 votes and finish the contest at 6:15 pm, determine the winners and pay out the jackpot. 

At this time our after-party was already running and DJ Polpeta had taken over the entertainment. It was a nice evening, which should have its climax as always with an after-party. And also the frosty atmosphere and cold outside couldn't stop some of us from stripping and exchanging Santa Helper clothes for lingerie. So some of us danced with bare tits.

And the after-party also flew by. We talked and laughed, danced and DJ Polpeta had put together a very very good set. In the end most of us were tired and looked for the bed to slip into the dream world after this wonderful night. So this weekend at the Sunshine Realm is finished. And we are all looking forward to the Christmas week and the events we have prepared in this week.
