Lighthammer tribute Concert of Faun
During the last days I had an invitation from Viola of the tributee band Lighthammer and visited some of the concerts. Of course Lighthammer is a German group in SecondLife, so the concerts are often of German bands, from "Pur" to "Rammstein". It is always nice to get to know a new Sim. And also the music is often very nice, and it's fun to see what the Lighthammer crew does with the theme. The costumes, the stage and the animations.Today they were in the "Mare Cruoris" Sim, a German BDSM meeting place. The operators of "Pearls Hafen" had their first wedding day. And also the music program was special, because it was the German group "Faun".
Faun is a German band formed in 1998 who play pagan folk, darkwave and medieval music. The originality of their music style is that they fall back to "old" instruments, and the singing is always the center of attention. The vocals are performed in a variety of languages, including German, Latin, Greek, and Scandinavian languages. Their instruments include Celtic harp, Swedish nyckelharpa, hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, cittern, flutes and many others.
And anyone who knows me knows how much I like Faun. And everything around the medieval times fascinates me. So I accepted the invitation again today. The Sim and the people make a nice impression. Of course, German is spoken in a German Sim first of all. But it was a new atmosphere. And I even met an old friend again. I met Angel more as a year before in "The Secret House". How does the saying go? "The world is a village". That is not so different in SecondLife. I am glad about this.
And I wasn't disappointed by the Lighthammer crew this time either. A beautiful stage, suitable costumes and animations, and also the historical instruments were not missing. These are often designed by themselves, because there are no such unusual things in the market place. It was a wonderful concert and once again I had a lot of fun.
Maybe you will visit a concert of Lighthammer to get an impression. And also the Sim is worth a visit. Here the landmark in the grid. But be careful, it is an adult world around BDSM and Bondage. You may find all Pictures which i made in this Google Images Album.
Thank you Angy for the photos and comments on our concert Faun the band Lighthammer in Second Life
