Pride in your Counties Flag

Pride in your Counties Flag

Friday the 14th of June is the Flag Day 2019 in the USA. We come from a lot different countries and wanted celebrate a special event with our friends. Pride in your Countries Flags

And we were curious which flags we would see today, that we would get to know something more about our guests. We thought about from which countries everyone came. Besides the USA, France, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia, Argentina, Guatemala, Brazil, Great Britain and Mexico we had forgotten the Netherlands. Sorry Skye, this will not happen again.

It is really impressive that SecondLife offers us all a common home and that we can meet each other even though we are really spread all over the globe. And so friendships develop.
Of course some countries were added with the guests, besides Spain and Portugal I also discovered Canada and Australia. Maybe many people just chose the USA flag because it's easier. Anyway, many came in the colors of the USA. And with the exception of one Sunshine Girl, they really showed all the national colours.

And Lily had come in spite of a family event to show her amazing outfit.

Some of the visitors and Sunshine Girls are always particularly imaginative. Besides Lily this is also Odette and Phil. Unfortunately we all missed Phil on this day. Also because together with Odette he tries again and again to follow the themes, and that already days before. This can be seen on many pictures in Odette's or his Flickr account. And because he is always providing variety in the local chat. Unfortunately not everyone appreciates this, and there is a lack of cheeky and sexy emotes as a thank you for the tips he gives to the Sunshine Girls.

But Odette was there, and cute as ever.

And if it was Flag Day, today the Sunshine Realm also presented a new flag designed by Bic. Beside the symbol of the sun and the colour blue, which can also be found in our logo, there are some small symbols at the bottom. These should show the openness of the Sunshine Realm, for people from different countries with different cultures and experiences, but also the openness and tolerance for all religions.

Thank you Bic for your help and support. For many banners and textures, the ideas and your critical opinion. For the Sunshine Realm logo as well as the flag now. And for being there again and again, trying to enliven the events.

We opened the event at 4pm and it quickly got fuller in the small alcove on the street. DJ Valantine was our DJ in the evening and entertained us with wonderful music. She is a great support for the Sunshine Realm and a manager with us. It's nice to have a Sim like this with friends.

We again had more than 50 guests that evening, and at the end there were 42 together. We had opened another contest, at the end the voting went relatively smoothly and 25 people voted. In between there were even 29 people in the contest, but some had to leave the event shortly before the end. So it was a successful evening at the Sunshine Realm.

Unfortunately, Misty couldn't be there that night. She was at an appointment in RL that lasted longer. We all missed her very much. But somehow she was there because everyone was thinking about her. She had prepared the event, but sometimes it comes differently than planned before. And at the end the rule in SecondLife is: "RL always first". She will be there again for our next event, the Asian Paradice.

There was also another After-Party of course. And there was some naked skin to see again. Sometimes we would really wish that our Sunshine Girls were a bit more open. But many of us use the After-Party to show skin, enjoy it. Or put on sexy lingerie in the final phase of the event. You should come by.

Like usual are more pictures in a Google Images Album. Maybe we have shoot you too, or you explore it and will visiting us soon. In my blogpage "Upcoming Events" are informations about the next events here at our wonderful Sunshine Realm. For some of us its a place where fun happen.
