Dinosaur Day

Dinosaur Day

For the dinosaur day there are various dates and triggers. But June 1st is also one of the dates, and on that day the Dinosaurs will come back and take possession of our Realm of Shades. We all love dinosaurs, and are already curious what will happen that day. We prepared this place and hoped that many guest would follow our invitation to our prehistoric event. We know that there were no humans at the time of the Dinosaurs, and maybe that's was better for humans. But we hoped to see many people with explorer look or loincloth.  A little bit of Fred Feuerstein and prehistory and caveman look.

Misty has long wished to build a prehistoric world. So this time I was just an observer, and Misty has transformed the place where our Viking village is normally located, and where we had also celebrated our GoT special event, into a prehistoric world. We already laughed a lot and dreamt together when we built this. We covered the side walls and ramparts with trees, and put a mysterious hell at the back end, plus some rocks. And then came the dinosaurs. It's really fantastic what some are creating in SecondLife and we can use this to create such special places.

Our events are always a challenge for our friends and guests. In the last few days this has become even more intense, more people follow us with our crazy ideas. But for many weeks now Odette and Phil have been impressing us with their ideas and implementation, mostly coordinated with each other. So we were very curious again this time what they would surprise us with. So this time Phil came as a dinosaur, and Odette controls the leash in a beautiful (and dirty) explorer look. It gave us some starting points for jokes and we could laugh a lot together.

And also many of our friends have come. We are always happy when they come. And take an active part, support us with their outfits. We are really honored to have so many good friends and are happy to make SecondLife a bit more colourful for everyone. Especially the preparation for such an event, the finding of the suitable outfit, is an essential part. And maybe it also stimulates some role plays and fantasies.

But back to the event. What else can I write. We met at 4pm. Of course we were curious. How many would come to the more complicated event, and with which outfits would they surprise us? When we arrived DJ Yuimetal was already there, and like every Saturday she entertained us with fitting and good music. So we had the best conditions for a wonderful night.

In the end we had more than 30 visitors. A little less than usual, but that was to be expected. And 28 were together on our prehistoric fairground. We danced to the music, the local chat was very active and we could laugh together. It was a nice event and the 1,000 L$ (S) contest was smooth. At the end of the main event 23 people had voted and most had left and after the payout.

And that's when we start the after-party. DJ Polpeta had taken over the entertainment and some of us got rid of unnecessary clothes. These after-parties have always been something special, and maybe you'd like to come by. Even if you will see a lot of naked skin and pretty girls, nobody has to pay here. Of course everyone is happy about tips, and the DJs should be rewarded as well. But these events are absolutely open for everyone. And you can also find someone to spend more time together.

Of course there are still more pictures around and I have put them together again in a Google Images Album for you. Maybe you'd like to have a look at them. And if you want to visit us, on my blog page "Upcoming events" are all the current information about the next events. Our Sim is only busy during the events. If you just want to come, spend time with friends, or just explore the Sim, you'll find us at this landmark in SecondLife's grid. The Sim is also a beautiful background for photos. If you look at my Flickr page, there are a lot of nice pictures taken here. Of course there is also a Flickr group where you can share your pictures with us.
