Today we are all PRIDE!

This weekend we celebrate PRIDE Days at Sunshine Realm. Today was the first day. We started our big street festival for the PRIDE Days 2019. It's not about gay or lesbian, it's about diversity of life and that everyone has the right to choose their (adult) love partner. 

I am what I am! We follow the theme month in SecondLife and the LGBT movement in the real world. We are committed to ensuring that every person, regardless of gender, race and orientation, can be who they want to be. Than Love is never wrong! And this in every country of the world and of course also in our common virtual home SecondLife. And every adult should be allowed to love the adult person she or he loves. 

We wanted a colorful festival with many guests and a ocean of rainbow colors. We have decorated the street and the stage, now it's was the turn of our guests. We invited all and asked to set a sign with us, because today we would be all PRIDE! 

In the days before we had prepared everything and decorated the street and the big stage in the alcove.  Actually everything was supposed to be ready. And we really wanted to show everyone what we stand for, not only openness and tolerance, but also free love among adults regardless of gender and race. How many visitors would come? Will this topic also be important to them, and will our guests paint the street brightly?

Then there was a big shock. In the morning there had been teleport problems in SecondLife. Once again. Therefore the daily restart of the regions of our landlord didn't work. As the landmanager who does the restarts had logged in again, this was activated. And we received the message that our Sim would restarted in the next 30 minutes new. And it was 45 minutes before the start of our event  And that in some regions there were problems to get it online again. There could hardly be a "better" start to our PRIDE days. We were in close contact with the land manager and at 3:35 pm we could breathe a sigh of relief. The Sim was restarted and everything seemed to work. To help us, the land manager also checked the Sim thoroughly. Today the Sim ran very well and there was hardly any lag to be seen. From this point of view it was an amazing event. 

Then it was time, the first guests came. DJ Valantine started her musicstream and took over the entertainment for this evening. And once again she was very good and chose a mix of different music. And of course the first Sunshine Girls arrived on time at 4pm.  Most Sunshine Girls are already busy days before to put together suitable clothes and to deal with the topic. 

Some take pictures and live the dream of the Sunshine Realm. It is fun to see it then, and the girls are happy to show what they have chosen for the theme. Thanks to you, we are really very grateful to have you.  And there will be more, so we can hope that in the end really all Sunshine Girls will be part of the event.

So it became lansam fuller on our street party and almost all came in with PRIDE symbols and the colors of the rainbow. It promised to be a nice evening and after the shock at the beginning we were all looking forward to it. And because it was a special event that is very close to our hearts, we opened the event with L$1,500 in the jackpot for the contest.

In the beginning the guests came hesitantly and I was already restless. Had we overestimated the topic and our guests would not come? It wouldn't matter, because we would celebrate like that. But then more and more guests came and it got full in the alcove and on the street in front of it. Some guests come regularly, but we also had some new guests again. So the number in the Sunshiner's group, after it had gone back to 896 during the week, increased again over 900. So it became a wonderful and successful event and we were very happy.

Altogether more than 60 guests came on this evening. Unfortunately it is very difficult for Europeans to stay until the end. So some guests left us before, others came very late. Some watched football, others maybe had other reasons. But at the end of the main events 55 guests and Sunshine Girls were together on the fairground. Thanks to everyone who attended our event. We can plan events, come up with themes, build and decorate places. But in the end it is the guests who decide about success or failure. They complete the picture and turn an event into something very special.

We started the event with L$1,500 in the jackpot. And after more than 30 participants had registered for the contest, and our street was full of colorful people, we packed another 250 L$ into the contest. This time there was no donation, so the voting was about 1,750 L$, which were shared in split mode. Since the Sim ran smoother than ever before, there were no problems with the voting despite the large number of participants and an existing nervousness. Everything went wonderfully well and we were finished within the planned time frame. In the end, 43 participants cast their votes.

We were happy when the contest ended and we had paid out the winnings. Now we could relax and look forward to the after-party. As always on Fridays Valantine continued the conversation and ran her stream for us. Of course most of the guests leave us after the contest, but many stay together. And these are mostly our friends. So the after-party is very nice and we are all looking forward to it. 

Of course we undressed again. And we danced with naked tits to the music of Valantine. You can certainly see more pretty naked or sparsely dressed dancers in the Sunshine Realm than in most other places. So maybe you should take your time and visit us. To dance with us.

The finale of our American week will be a Roller Derby in a new Roller Rink. The Sunshine Girls will be good Derby Girls. I'm sure it will be amazing.
