Who wouldn't dream of it? Splendid rooms, big cars driving up and bellboys receiving the guests in a correct uniforms. In the room a lot waitresses and waiters in black and white clothes with trays of champagner and treats in the hand. The women wear beautiful and elegant gowns and pieces of jeweleriy. The men in tuxedos or at least a chic suit with tie. Some of the guests drink champagne and otheer whisky or cognac. The men smoke expensive cigars. 

You can hear the rolling ball on the roulette table or the dealer's commands. We're at the Casino Royal with you. And don't forget, the Martini is drunk shaken, but not stirred ;-).  

This is the atmosphere in which we wanted to take our friends and guests today. Take a seat at one of the game tables or dance, laugh and chat with friends. 

We have with the Burlesque Palace the perfect location for this event, and after we were here with our "End of Prohibition / Speakasy" event, we had to rebuild quickly. So we removed some of the burlesque stuff and set up gaming tables instead. But it was quickly prepared, the ballroom was just made for this event. 

It is not easy to advertise such an event in SecondLife.  I already experienced in moderate worlds that one warned me, because I was bathing topless and everyone could see my natural tits. Oh God, how can a woman show tits? But that it is forbidden to use all possible words around the topic "gambling" was new to me. And that, although we didn't even offer games of chance, but only wanted to carry out an event against the background of a casino.

As it was our first event of this kind, we waited curiously to see how our guests would interpret this theme, if and how many guests would come and which clothes they would choose. We met again at 4pm, DJ Yuimetal and Misty were there a bit earlier and so we could start on time. Yuimetal had a lot of fun putting the music together and had put together a set around electro jazz and other related music. That alone makes such events special, as our DJs often play music that differs from the mainstream. 

But then it quickly became fuller and most of the guests had understood the topic. Some had probably only read the word "royal" in the title of the event, and came as princess or king, but luckily that was their exception and some changed quickly. So it was quickly fuller in our "Sunshine Casino" and thanks to the music of Yuimetal we all had a lot of fun. We had more than 40 visitors that evening, some new ones as well. So this weekend we passed the 880 group members for the first time. At the end there were 32 guests and friends celebrating together. 

We also had another contest with 1,000 L$ in splitmode. When it came to the voting, I warned again not to torture the board and to send fast mouse click series on it. We had some new guests. But then everything went very well. Secondlife and our Sim were very stable this weekend. So the 26 participants could vote and we could thank the guests, wish them a good journey home and draw their attention to the future event. After the payment of the winnings we finished the main event. 

I doubt you can experience that in a real casino. But the after-party at the Sunshine Realm is something special. After DJ Polpeta took over the entertainment and the after-party officially started, the covers fell and we danced topless or in sexy lingerie together. You probably won't see that in every club in SecondLife. Changing themes in different suitably decorated places, costume parties following these themes, and in the end sensual eroticism, pretty (pixel) bodies dancing sexy. Maybe you'll come by and visit us at one of our upcoming parties.

Of course, the Sunshine Realm with the ground level and currently 4 levels with skyboxes is worth such a trip. A teleporter system takes you to most of our places.
