Surfing Lessons

When we plan events it is often a mixture of new and proven formats. It would be almost impossible to prepare three completely new events every week. We also have to choose an outfit, and then there's the cost of a new location. That's why we're looking for new events that we can hold at existing venues and mix existing ones. Also at this event we went back to the past and fallen back on proven methods. Actually we wanted to build a Japanese garden after the winter, but then we decided to make a Hawaiian Luau and built a beach club just for this one event. A short time later we extended the area around the beach club with a Caribbean beach for our first Surf's up! Event to make. Well, today this is an area where we did a lot of events. It's the time travel to the pirates, the swimming lessons or the sun tanning. And we welcomed the summer here too.

For this event we wanted mix two of this theme, and we met us with our friends and guests for surf lessons on the beach. 

We got here a little early. Since the DJ didn't come in the club room and it was so quiet, we came to the beach a bit earlier. DJ Yuimetal was already there and it didn't take long until the first guests came.  Sun, beach and the sound of the waves. It should be a nice evening. Punctually at 4pm we opened the event and also the contestboard was open with 1,000 L$.

Dj Yuimetal entertained us with a colorful mix of international music and we danced on the beach and in the shallow water in beautiful sunshine. The waves were quietly crashing to the shore. It was beautiful and we all had a lot of fun and danced and talked together. It was a good relaxing time after our special "Mythical Creature" event yesterday. So more and more guests came, and it became more and more crowded on the beach, so that some stayed in the club area.  

We had 60 guests again that evening. And we also managed that more than 50 people were together in the Sim. And this in July, one of the most difficult months in SecondLife. So it is already clear that we had the most successful month 2019 before our last event in July. We will probably have had more than 700 visitors in July, but the "Butterflies Watching" event in our Camp Sunshine on Tuesday is still missing. 

As more than 30 guests took part in the contest we increased the jackpot to 1,250 L$. Of course everyone was happy about it. At the end 40 people took part. And even though it was a bit more laggy today and the textures were loaded slower, the voting went very well. Up to 6pm 39 people cast their votes and we were able to finish the main event on time. Of course not without wishing everyone a nice weekend and pointing out upcoming events. And of course we invited everyone to stay for the after-party.

And then it got even hotter on the beach. Since Polpeta was prevented today, Valantine took over the entertainment for the after-party and more than 10 girls danced topless on the beach or flat water. That was probably also a new record, so many sexy girls with exposed tits. It was a lot of fun and we laughed a lot. You should just drop by, also our after-parties are public and you don't have to pay the entrance fee. We have fun and like to share this feeling.
