Farewell 2018, Welcome 2019

We look back at the last year. And there are a lot highlights. Here is an album with the posters to the most of our events in the last 12 month. After the closing of our Sunshine Cove Beach Club started Vantine the ROOM Club and me with the Sunshine Realm here in Deep Lust. And the Sunshine Realm growing very fast in the last year. First it was only the Haunted Garage, than our Winterland 2017 and now it's a 1/4 Sim with 3 levels and several event places. Misty supported us from the first days after closing her Sunshine Beach Club. She helped ud, pushed us if needed and demanded us. 

Some weeks later Misty became Coowner of the Sunshine Realm again and we run this place together. I am honored and grateful to run this beautiful site together with my best friends, mentor and constant inspiration. Already Saint Patrick we were together the owners of the "Sunshine Realm".

Aside of the Garage is today the Sunshiner's Pub an important part, with EASTERN came the Sunshine Garden in addition and later followed the Trails End Beach Club. And this are only a fe of the places and highlights. The end for 2017 was then the new Winterland with the frozen pond, the snowy road with the Sunshiner's Pub and under Christmas market. 

And we looking forward for a new year again, with a lot ideas and planned hightlights, and the best family in SecondLife.

We had the last event for 2018 on 30th of December 2018. It was not only the New Year's Eve party for the Sunshine Realm, it was for the whole Sunshine family. So we organized this event together with the Room Club and Valantine. We invited our friends and guests for a 4 hour event with 2 contests, and a lot highlihts.

And we looking forward for a new year again, with a lot ideas and planned hightlights, and the best family in SecondLife.

First of all, we would continue to take a break from winter and snow, we had everything prepared and went with our guests to the beautiful Sunshine Garden. Its some weeks ago we went there.  Now it should be something special before the turn of the year, so we thought about having a masquerade gala today.

We started our New Year's Eve Warmup weekend with a special party. 

It should be hot, sexy and sensual, but at first it should be red in the Trails End Music Hall. Everything was red that night. The short dress, hot and sexy underwear, silk or a shirt and jeans. for this we had decorated the club with a row of red lamps and hung up some red curtains. A new Red Light Distrinct in "New Amsterdam" seems born this night.

We celebrated our Christmas Party for the Sunshine Realm together with The ROOM Club at 23th of December. We started with a very colorful program at 1pm slt. Some of our friends and guests joined us for a very special event "Champagne & Mistletoe" in formal attire at the Christmas Market.

We were curious because we made this event at a Sunday and this isn't a regular time for the Sunshine Realm. But the worries before were unnecessary then the first guests came and it was a successful evening.

We invited our guests, friends and the Sunshiner Family to our Pajamas Party at Saturday, 22th of Dec in our Sunshiner's Pub. Between 4 and 6 pm entertained DJ Alexa Bliss us with awesome slowly and sexy blues music and we had a lot fun fun together.

The holidays can be a stressful time. And maybe you have enough of the serious and contemplative Christmas celebrations. And it seems like there is a never-ending list of invites to sort through for the entire month. And this in real life and SecondLife. We can't help you in real life, but we can try it here in SecondLife. We invited our friends, group members and guests to break this stressful cycle for a little Christmas fun. We did celebrate our naughty Ugly Holiday Sweater Party.

Now Christmas is approaching. St. Nicholas was already there and visited the children. The post office at the North Pole is working at full speed. And also the first elves and other helpers of Santa Claus are on their way.

So it was time for our "Santa's Helper Party". We met us on Tuesday, December 18th at 5pm at the Sunshine Realm Christmas Market in the street in front of our Sunshiner's Pub and DJ Yezika entertained us for 2,5 hours and spinned some rock music for the pre-Christmas time. Of course there was be mulled wine, hot chocolate, roasted almonds and all kinds of pastries at the Christmas Market. A wonderful time to relax with friends.

Today is an Event at the Pond in our Winterland again. Our first idea was a Bunny Party in Snow, but we have a lot pitifulness with the men in our Sunshine Realm Group. So we make a  "Snowbunnies and Hunters" Party. Women, come as funny and naughty Snowbunny and have fun with us. Men, take a hunters outfit out your wardrobe and your knifes, bows and guns and whatever is possible and chase some bunnies in the snow. Maybe you have some other loaded "guns" too.

DJ Alexa will spinning some funny tunes for us and we will armed our Contestboard with 1,000 L$ to split. Invite your friends and come to our Holiday Season Party today.

Friday, best time for parties and fun not only in Secondlife. We will go to our Sunshiner's Pub tonight for "A toast with friends". This is a event for semiformal attires. So, women, find your most beautiful cocktail dress from the wardrobe. And men, we hoping to see oyu in a dark suit and tie tonight. DJ Valantine will spinning some rocking tunes for us. And the INTAN dance balls are filled with many dances, so you will surely find the right one for you.

Like usual we will open a Contest with  1,000 L$ in splitmode for our guests.

It's Advent time

Advent time is coming

It's finally time today. Tomorrow is the 1st Advent, and the Christmas season 2018 starts. November is finally behind us and we can look forward to a month with many colorful lights, candles and the smell of cookies and other Christmas baked goods. This morning the children have opened the first door in the Advent calendar, and there are only 24 days until Santa Claus arrives.

Let's give Thanks together!

Since the Sunshine Realm is closed on each Thursday, we will celebrate our Thanksgiving 2018 on the 23rd of November. We will meet us at the Trails End Music Hall for 2 hours of fun and relaxation. We have prepared everything for it, and of course the turkey can't be missing from the rich buffet. But we have also pardoned a pair of turkeys and they enjoy their freedom in front of the barn. And unlike others, we wish this freedom to all people in the world. So all people are welcome in the Sunshine Realm, regardless of their religion and origin.

By becoming a citizen of SecondLife, my world has opened so much wider. I see a lot differently today than I did 3 years ago. And I could meet many new friends from all over the world. So today also some people from the USA and Canada belong to my very good friends. And Misty, my Partner here in the Sunshine Realm is from USA too. So you learn a lot about these countries, which we just live in one world and a lot of things are very similar. But also that some things are different. That already starts with the time difference. So if you are on the road with an open eye and heart, you can also get to know a lot about traditions and customs.

The winter season continues!

We start our events every week on Tuesday, after a rest day on Monday. Now we are in Thanksgiving week, the preparations are running. So we thought about how to open this week, a "Coming home" party in the snow, or something else. In any case, we wanted to go back to the Winterland to have the opportunity to prepare the "Trails End Music Hall" for the big Sunshine Family Thanksgiving Party.

After the success yesterday wit our "Winter Is Coming" event, we wanted to organize a good evening again and hoped that everything would work out. Since I was at a birthday party in the family, I could only log into SecondLife shortly before the event. But Misty had done all the preparations, and she has a lot of experience, as my teacher and mentor.

After having had a lot of fun during the construction, we were really curious how the first weekend would turn out. And of course what our friends and guests would say about our new winterland. On the first weekend the frozen pond with the ice rink should be in the foreground. And of course there was also the question whether we had thought of everything, whether everything was adjusted correctly and should not become too laggy.

We used the last few days to prepare the ground level of the Sunshine Realm for the new season. Winter is near. So we tore away the Beach Club and the Football Stadium to make room for something new. The road is sunk in the snow, snow drifts have formed at the edge. Snowflakes are blowing over the landing bridges and have covered the wood with snow. Even if it is a bit early, we have already started to build up the Christmas market.

Since our Sunshine Realm had a rest day on November 11th, we started our late Veteran Day Event today. We went back to the back corner of the upper skybox and fenced in a place for an open air event. In addition a provisional stage, and the necessary equipment for an event was brought up, and the event could begin.

We seeking for new ideas of events each week. So we decide us to use our ground to create a small football stadium and call for Tailgate Parties this weekend. Wear your american football fan wear, your football dress, your cheerleader outfit or others matching sportswear and come to the Sunshine Realm this weekend. We begins with DJ Valantine today and continue tomorrow with DJ Alexa Bliss.

The finale and highlight of our Halloween Events 2018 at the Sunshine Realm is the "Bloody Formal Ball". We women love prom balls, the Sunshine Family is not an exception. And mixing it all with Halloween is a great thing. Its open a lot option to select a dress and to dance with friends. This will be the highlight of our Halloween season 2018. On Tuesday evening we invite everyone to dance in our enchanted ballroom. DJ Yezika and the Nightwishes will entertain us, and the Sunshine Girls will provide the perfect setting for a wonderful event where dreams and fantasies come true.

We have started planning for Halloween 2018 for the Sunshine Cove Group. As in previous years, we're planning some events, and we've already started with our New Moon Party last week. 

New Moon Party 2018

We have enough stuff in the Sunshine family, and could just repeat some of the Halloween events. We've already started to bring back some of the previous venues lately. So we reopened the Beach Club, the "Trails End Music Hall" and last but not least "The Brewery". It's the combination of old and new that makes SL so wonderful.

Now we have more space and prims this year, and certainly more possibilities, so we took a look around the Sunshine Realm and discussed which events we want to organize with for our guests this year. And of course which place in our land fits best to the planned event. Now the Sunshine Realm has grown in the last months and now consists of many places, so you would think we had the choice. Beside the Tennis Court, the "Sunshine Cove Beach Club" and the "Sunshiner's Pub" on the ground floor, there is the "Sunshine Garden" and the "Trails End Music Hall" on one level, and the "Sunshine Garage" and "The Brewery" on the other. So where are we going to celebrate with you?

After the bad experiences this weekend, the trouble with our events and at last the canceling of this, some cat fights in the group about nothing and all, it was time for me to explore other parts of sl and sort my minds. But now I should go in my bed, after some steps through different Sims.

But i wanted make a last jump. I had read about the exhibition "How Isolde Got Lost", by Arete of Cyrene in the Nitroglobus Roof Gallery in the INARA PEY: LIVING IN A MODEM WORLD- Blog . I came only for a moment to decide whether it would be worth coming back with more time.

After our opening on Tuesday, when the zombies and undead overran our upper skybox and we had to retreat to the run-down car graveyard, we thought we pushed the undead back into their world. Yesterday we saw that the ground in the Sunshine Realm had been torn open, and a cemetery had emerged from the other side, as well as some long lost buildings. The witches and warlocks, ghosts and ghouls, undead and fairies, scarecrows and monsters came out of the ruptured rift into our world and wandered through the Sunshine Realm. The Sunshine Realm belonged to the creatures from the world of shadows.

Wow, what an event it was. The festival place with the cemetery was very well done, and as we started at 2pm, it got full faster than we expected. The guests all came in wonderful costumes that almost all fit into the theme, and we celebrated exuberantly together. First Valantine took over the DJ desk for 2 hours and entertained us with fresh music. We had started a 1,000 L$ contest in split mode. We didn't just schedule it for 4pm, the start of the second round with another DJ. We made it dependent on at least 10 guests logging into the contest, otherwise we would continue the contest at 4pm and increase it to 2,000 L$. But it didn't come to that, there were 20 guests very quickly, and nevertheless it should come differently than we had planned. It was going to be the craziest event we've ever had at the Sunshine Realm. 

When you've done everything, all you can do is wait.

Finally it's time. Yessss! We start our Halloween week with some events til Halloween self already tomorrow at 5:00 pm at the Sunshine Realm. Our first event is named "Zombie Apocalypse" and its take us back to the end of days, when the undead are on their way again and threaten to exterminate the last humans. The Sunshine Girls try to save the world and courageously defend themselves against the masses of undead.

Yesterday it finally happened. We opened the Halloween season at the Sunshine Realm. Several hours of preparation were necessary and we made it darker in our garden. We had invited to our New Moon Party and more than 50 people came.  So it was a wonderful event.

Summer is finally over and the nights are getting longer again. The autumn is a colourful month, but we turn on the fireplace more often and also listen to the burning of the logs. And the candles give us romantic and flickering light. And again uncanny things happen in our world.  Because October is the month of the beings from the shadow world. And on Tuesday, 10/09/2018 is the new moon in the zodiac sign of the Libra, the witches and warlocks, dark elves, fairies and vampires, demons and werewolves are slowly coming out of the hiding places to prepare themself for this one night where the borders between the world of demons and our world blur. And, of course, the shadow hunters come out too, supported by the angels, the magic dust that hides their world from us no longer works. And they begin their hunt for demons.

If we look back to our Party yesterday. Wow, this was a party of superlatives for us. Unfortunately we only missed one guest, and we would have welcomed 70 guests to our Oktoberfest party yesterday at the same time. Altogether there were more than 80 guests, but unfortunately not everyone can stay the whole time. And its a new record for the new Trails End Music Hall and the Sunshine Realm. So there were only 69 visitors in the peak in our Sunshine Realm Sim. And there were also a lot of new ones, we welcomed 11 new members into our VIP group this evening. Read more in the last blogpost about our 2nd Friday of our Oktoberfest- weeks.

After we started our Oktoberfest weeks in the new brewery last weekend, we are going back to the "Trails End Music Hall" today. Since we expect more than 50 people, the new Brewery might be a bit crowded. That's why we decided to go to the biggest festival place in the Sunshine Realm. This is the "Trails End Music Hall". We moved everything there to enjoy an amazing event with our friends. And after the successful celebration of the Day of Unity we already announced it. Today we start the contest with 1,500 L$, as a thank you for our guests.

I wrote in my last post yesterday about the Day of German Unity. We prepared the skybox in the Sunshine Realm where the Sunshine Garage now, our place for the German Unity Day Celebration. We were very curious how many people would follow our invitation. We started right at 5pm and DJ Yezika took the DJ Stream, supported by her DJ host Ruby and Vanny.

German Unity Day

28th Day of German unity

Tomorrow is the 28th anniversary of German unity. What began with the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989 was completed on 3th of October 1990 with the German reunification. What seemed impossible a few months before became reality. It was a peaceful revolution and the loud call from the street. With German unity began a nearly 20 year long phase of peace in europe and the most parts of world, the cold war seemed forgotten. I grew up in that time.

I also go to other clubs regularly, meet new people and dance. And if I like a place, I also write about it in my blog. Often it's live music that brings me to a new club, sometimes it's a tribute band, but today after a few weeks I was back at the "Unheilig Club". It's not difficult to realize that this must be a German Club. You could almost think that I normally do not visit German places in SecondLife. Many people who live in SecondLife and don't speak German are welcomed very unfriendly in most german places. Not here!

We begins today with our long Oktoberfest week here at Sunshine Realm with the Barrel Tapping. Between 9/28 and 10/6 we will celebrate the "Oktoberfest" here at the Sunshine Realm. During this time our DJ's will create a good atmosphere and we will share more than 7,000 L$ in contests.

The summer is over, this weekend the autumn finally starts. We could mourn now, or simply look forward to a wonderful autumn full of variety and colors.

Autumn is also the time for college football in the USA. With the new school year the season starts here too. Saturday is the day of the week that belongs entirely to college football.

Today it was finally time again. Thank God it's Friday and we started the party weekend at the Sunshine Realm. And as already announced, we stayed at the new Trails End Music Hall Club for now. And Friday is just the best time for a party, and Valantine is our Rock Queen, so it was time for a new MONSTER Rock Party. Punctually at 4pm we arrived at the Sunshine Realm and started the rock night. We were really curious when Misty couldn't come today. She had an appointment in RL. Unfortunately, this also means that some of the Sunshine Girls don't came. So it wasn't the best conditions. And after the successful opening party last week, expectations were naturally very high.

Trails End Revive

Trails End Music Hall Is Back!

Yesterday was finally the day. Misty and me had talked for weeks about how about getting back the old Trails End Music Hall? Then we worked intensively in the last days to bring this old Club back. On the one hand the club should still be the old one, but it had to fit into the new world of the Sunshine Realm. So no beach, because its wide and wide open appearance of the barn would not match the revitalized Sunshine Cove Beach Club, nor the street with the Sunshiner's. So the Sunshine Garden seemed to us the most suitable for the new place. And a note also fits into a park-like landscape, between trees and nature and dirty ways. 

So we placed the club right here. But how would our friends react. Many of us have their own memories of the months with the Trails End Music Hall Club in 2016. Would they find themselves in that new place? And our guests? Would some of our old guests from this time come by back and how will the newer guests react? Many questions, it is always exciting when we open a new place. And in this case it was somehow an old place with tons of memories.

After rebuilding and reopening our Sunshine Cove Beach Club at the beginning of the summer, we go one step further back to the end of the summer country. In the skybox next to the Sunshine Garden we have rebuilt the large barn of the Trails End Music Hall Club and will end the summer with some country and biker events. We will also revive well-known event formats, such as Monster Rock Night with our DJ Valantine.

End of August is the time for the US Open and a reason for us to go back to our tennis court for an event. We built this in July after the Women Final Match of Wimpledon and made 2 amazing events there. Come down to us and join us at the Sunshine Realm for a fantastic weekend.

We are proud to invite you to our temporary festival place aside a diary farm for 2 days of memories and great Rock, Folk and Country music. We have built this place only for this special event in the Sunshine Realm.

We want go back with you in the hippie and flower power time and celebrate the 49th Anniversary of the Woodstock Music & Art Fair - 3 Days of Peace & Music, which took place between 15th and 18th of August at a diary farm close to the small town Bethel in the State of of New York. You will surely find the right clothes to come to us as a hippie or flower power child.

After our events in the summerland around the soccer field for the World Cup, the reopening of the Sunshine Cove Beach Club, the street festival for PRIDE Days and the Beachparty for 15th anniversary of SecondLife, the street festivals for holidays in the USA on July 4th and France on July 14th and later the parties at tennis court after the Wimbledon weekend, it was time for us to return to the Sunshine Garden. We prepared everything and planned a garden party with friends on July 28th. It was just time for us to take a breath. Of course we are also planning special events around our summer land in August and have some surprises in preparation.

Today was a special day. I've been out of school for a few years now, but I had my first PROM ball today. And it's really hard to explain what thoughts I had and what feelings overpowered me. But I'll start again. When I received the invitation to Cala's Skate-o-rama PROM Ball via the CALAS GALADHON ANNOUNCEMENT GROUP, I didn't even know what a PROM BALL was. Well, that can come across wrong now, of course I had seen PROM Balls on TV and in the cinema, but in the German translation as "High School Abschlußfeier". PROM Ball was more like a celebrity gala ball to me. 

It was also the wrong time for me in Germany, 7:00 pm in SecondLife is 4:00 am for me, so a time where most people are already sleeping here. Now it was really very very hot that night, I could not sleep and was restless. So I decided at short notice to go to the event. So I googled and first understood what it was all about. And I didn't even have 15 minutes to prepare.

We prepared a new place for the events at 7/20 and 7/21 at the Sunshine Realm. Inspired by the tennis weekend of Wimbledon, and here especially by the women final match between Kerber and Williams, we tried to get a bit of Wimbledon and the very aesthetic tennis sport to SecondLife. For this reason, we converted the existing football field into a tennis court on 7/19.

With the theme "Wimbledon was last weekend, now is Sunshine Realm Time! Who want play with us?" started we in this weekend. We promised sexy gals in sportive clothes with tennis rackets, relaxing sexy summer time music and asked our group members who wanted join us.  Sweaty girls and boys played and danced at our 3 tennis courts.

We have regular theme parties, and some of us come from France. So it was obvious that we prepared a party for our French friends for the "La fête Nationale" on the 7/14/2018. Therefore we went to the new site of the Sunshine Realm and chose the street and the place in front of our Sunshiner's Pub like before for the Independence Day and the PRIDE Days as Place for a street festival. We have renamed street and place quickly to "Avenue des Champs Élysées" and "Place Charles de Gaulle", and have set up a stage again. It was a lot of fun to decorate and prepare everything colorful again.

"Fantatischen Vier" tribute Concert

A few days ago a friend sent me an invitation to a tribute concert, this time it was the LIGHTHAMMER Tribute Band, and it was about a performance og German-speaking band "Die Fanatischen Vier", called Fanta4 by most only briefly.

The concert should take place in "The Forest Mansion", as you would expect from the German-speaking band, this is another German Sim in SecondLife. The suffix "BDSM Treffpunkt deutsch" (BDSM meeting point german) gives you some idea more. And the invitation said that the concert will take place in a courtyard and the band will make the old walls tremble.

It's not my time, I'm 9 hours earlier, so this was early morning at the next day. But I had planned to experience one of the big parties in Calas Galadhon Park. And I love skating, whether in summer or winter. And somehow I also wanted to understand what this Independence Day meant for my friends from the USA. So I chose a dress that at least looks a little vintage, a jeans jacket and a walkman and backpack, and of course my inliners. I was really curious, I liked to be in skate-o-rama last year, and watching a 4th of July party kept me awake.

A few days earlier დ Aᴢʀᴀ Iʀɪꜱ დ asked me if I didn't want to model for photos. She started a new studio "eroтιca ѕтυdιoѕ" and sought models. They were supposed to be erotic pictures, and I was skeptical. On the one hand I like photos in SecondLife. I make many myself, mostly they are snapshots, and I want to show my view on SecondLife. You will find some of my photos here in the blog or at my own flickr page. So I'm less concerned with the artistic aspect. Of course I also have some photo shootings with different photographer behind me. On the other hand, my experiences with erotic pictures here were rather, well, not really erotic. So I answered that I would be interested, but behind the shooting there should be a story, and the place should somehow touch me.

Independence Day 2018

Tomorrow is the USA Independence again. Like each year we want celebrate the 4th of July with our friend from the USA together. The Sunshine Realm stands there in a long tradition of our clubs before. Our Clubs were places where friends meet friends. And so we share a lot. The Independence Day is the most important holiday for our friends from the USA. It was self-evident to make a big party together with all our friends like in the years before.
